Music. Hello and welcome to season three,
Episode 10of intentional, spiritual
living with Brian. Here we areat the final episode of this
season. Time has flown. I hopeyou have enjoyed it as much as I
have, and we're gonna close withsome good stuff today. I think
you're really gonna like it. Sowe're gonna close out our 10

(00:38):
part, how to build your crystaltoolkit series with Sunstone, a
favorite of mine for I feel avery interesting reason that I
want to share with you. Andthen, as promised, I'm going to
go over, I think, six of thesacred geometry shapes that are
used often in crystal grids andassembling crystal grids for

(01:00):
various reasons. And we'll talkabout how to use them and why to
use them. A little bit of a deepdive there. And finally, like we
did last week, we did an overalldeep dive of the suit of wands,
my favorite suit in a tarotdeck. This week we are going to
do the suit of swords, which ismy least favorite suit in a
tarot deck, for reasons I willdetail it's a tough suit has

(01:23):
everything to do with our innercritic, and we'll talk about
that and spotting thesepatterns, like we talked about
with wands, and kind of puttingtogether. We'll do it another
season the other two so you cankind of pull some information
out about how to put togetherpatterns and repeating patterns
and tarot readings to really geta quality message out to your
client. So with those topics, wehave a full episode in front of

(01:49):
us. So now is the time to getstarted. You
all right, friends, let's getstarted with Sunstone, the final

(02:14):
choice in my 10 part series ofhow to build your crystal
toolkit and use these crystals, not just sit them on the counter
and look at them. And soSunstone is an interesting one.
I think it's one of myfavorites. But I probably say
that about all of them because Ijust I love crystals, and I have
a huge toolkit, but there arecertain crystals that I carry

(02:35):
with me all the time, and aquality piece of Sunstone is one
of them for a very particularuse for me. So again, we talk
about googling these messagesand these meanings, because if
you Google what are themetaphysical meanings or
spiritual uses of Sunstone, youwill get as many different

(02:58):
answers as times you Google it,it's just the way it's just the
way it is. Everybody has anopinion, and this is kind of not
exact science. I mean, there aresome science to vibrating
crystals vibrating on higherelevations and planes than we
do, and the higher, the fastervibrating ones maybe uplift your
mood, lower pseudoscience there, but a lot of this is just

(03:20):
opinion based upon sometimes youcan get into the geology of the
rock. You know, there's a lot ofcopper in a rock, and what is
copper good for? Combine thatwith a lot of rocks are based on
a quartz. We know that's themaster crystal from episode one,
that type of thing. But I know alot of it is just personal
feeling. And so as I keeptelling you, these are my

(03:42):
experiences with this, and let'sget to Sunstone. So at the core
of sunstone's meaning for me, bynature of the name and what it
looks like, I'm actually holdinga piece right now that I had my
pocket today, it's a beautifulstone. It's a happy it's a joy
inducing stone. And that'sthat's a universally agreed upon
truth with Sunstone. It inducesjoy in many of us, but that's

(04:06):
kind of boring, right? I mean,so does golden healer, so does
Rose Quartz for some people, sodoes amethyst. So these Joy
inducing stones are far in manyso then we start adding our own
experiences with them. And sofor me, with Sunstone, it does
induce joy, and when I amfeeling a little more joyful,
I'm kind of a persnickety personfrom time to time, a curmudgeon,

(04:30):
if you will. I'm not proud ofthat, but it's just the world
kind of makes us that waysometimes, and I'm kind of a
doubter. And if I need to be ina position of leadership, if I'm
running crooked cottage escaperooms for the day, and I'm
making major business decisionson a new room we might be
building, or if I'm about to doa huge order for Raven's
cauldron, and it's, you know, multiple 1000s of dollars in
crystals, and I am feeling alittle shaky, like, should I be

(04:51):
doing this? And am I making theright decision? There's where
Sunstone comes in. It is anamplification of good
leadership. It's Document. It alittle bit if you read about it,
but that's what it really doesfor me. It helps me to chill
out, let the anxiety fly away, and smile a little bit. So
because when I'm happier and I'ma little less heavy in spirit, I

(05:15):
can make beautiful, smart logic, educated decisions. And for me,
when I'm running two differentbusinesses and other businesses
outside of this that I do andtaking care of the home and
stuff, it can be a little bitoverwhelming and stuff, and I
need to always be hyper focusedon making the best decisions,
the best leadership decisions, because I'm all this is my own

(05:35):
company. This is, this is what Ido, and so Sunstone is the go to
with that. I'm not going to talkabout it much deeper than that,
because that's the only realreason I use it for, is when I
really want to induce alightheartedness about me, but
keep a shrewd air like brainwhen I say air like because the
pseudoscience we're going totalk about, logic, intellect,

(05:58):
that type of thing, if I need totap into all that and be happy
about it and make gooddecisions. Sunstone allows me to
do just that. So that is our10th and final crystal that
we're going to talk about inbuilding your crystal kit. And I
really hope that you guys havegotten something out of this.
There's not a lot of this stuffout there available, and that's
what I chose to do for thisseason. Was because, yes, there

(06:20):
are, there are millions ofsentences and words about the
meanings of crystals. But again, they're just people's opinions,
and I really wanted to give youthe sort of agreed upon truth
about them and how I use themand what I do with them, whether
it would be keeping it in mypocket, whether it be building
crystal grids, keeping it in myoffice, keeping it near me,

(06:41):
keeping it on my nightstand, that type of thing, you can
really achieve some beautifulthings when you really start to
vibe with your crystals, and youreally start to get to know
them, and not just get to knowthem based upon what your best
friend Sue, for instance, tellsyou that it did for her or
Brian, who you're listening to apodcast. These are just

(07:01):
guidelines. This is just how itworks for me. And you might find
the same thing. You may findthat when you're in a horribly
bad mood and you just want tohide from the world, a piece of
Sunstone might bring youcompletely out of that, and
that's a different meaning foryou. But get to know them and
the stone, the stones, the 10stones that I chose this season

(07:22):
are Power Stones. They're stonesthat I would never, ever be
without in my life. And you'llnotice I don't talk a lot about
the protective stones and stuff, and I talked a little bit about
that with rainbow obsidian lastweek. It's protecting us from
ourself, and that's why I loverainbow obsidian, because
there's not a lot of negativeenergy and penetrating my world.
There's not a lot of, you know, dark energy and entities and

(07:44):
stuff in my house I don't get, Idon't have that problem. So I
don't need a lot of theprotective stones. But what I do
need protection from is mysinking thoughts, my thoughts
that pre close, things that thatI'm angry about, or that I am
jaded about, and I need to snapout of that and see things for
what they really are. And sothat's why I use rainbow

(08:05):
obsidian, which we talked aboutlast week. And so in Sunstone,
it's not about just feeling joy.
It's that joy which leads toprosperous and logical and well
thought out decisions thatsunshine Sun Stone shines for
me. So again, I hope you'veenjoyed this deep dive on these
10 crystals. I hope you'rebuilding your crystal crystal
toolkit and vibing with them andseeing change in your life,

(08:27):
because I promise you, if youreally take it seriously and you
get to know them, you'll neverlook back. All right, friends
coming up, we are going to deepdive into sacred geometry,
shapes and what they are goodfor, for Building crystal grids,
as promised a couple episodesago.

(09:02):
How All right, let's get intothis, because this is a really
fun topic. So couple weeks ago,I actually laid out a fast
manifestation crystal grid foryou. On the podcast. Talked
about using the spiral, thespiral, sacred geometry shape
for continuity, and that's onethat I use often. But there are

(09:25):
tons of different sacredgeometry shapes. There are books
on it, so I've picked out a fewof them to talk about today and
just kind of go over it withyou, tell you, kind of how it
works and what that's for. Toreview crystal grids, they use
the principles of sacredgeometry in an effort to amplify
the energy of the crystals thatwe're putting on the grid and

(09:48):
kind of creating a harmoniousflow between the crystals and
the energy to achieve a specificintention that we're looking for
in that particular one. We weretalking about fast
manifestation, but we could. Behealing or abundance, spiritual
growth, protection, and each ofthose shapes has different
meanings. It's not hard and fastthat you actually have to use

(10:10):
those meanings, but it issomething good to think about
when you're doing it. And sowe're going to start with the
circle. Doesn't seem real sacredor geometrical, but it is a
sacred geometry, and it's forunity and perfect. Perfection.
Listen to me, unity andprotection. And so circle is a

(10:31):
universal symbol that representswholeness and protection, and it
also signifies cycles of life, eternal, life and infinity. So
it's not unlike the the spiralthat I use, but a circle is a
little bit different. And so forcrystal grids, the circle acts
as a boundary, and it's holdingand containing all of the energy

(10:54):
that we're harnessing in thesecrystal grids, which can be very
powerful within that circle.
It's also often used forprotection, again, protection
from negative energy, protectionfrom your own self, from your
own negative thoughts,focused energy field.
And you place all the crystalsinside of that circle and at key

(11:17):
points around the circle, andyou shield the different
crystals with their differentmeanings, to come up with your
protective or unifying crystalgrid
that you're going to have outfor several days.
I love using this one forprotection. I teach a class
using a circle of protection. Soone to really, really think
about, and a simple one at that.
Up next we're going to talkabout the flower of life. Why

(11:40):
would you use and you can buycrystal grids. We talked about
this a couple episodes ago. Itcould be you can draw these. You
can print out a piece of paperwith these. You can actually
have them burnt into a crystalgrid board. You can have cloths.
It doesn't matter. That's theleast important thing about
doing a crystal grid. Yourintention and the crystals that
you choose to put in there arewhat's important. So the Flower

(12:02):
of Life is a very powerfulsymbol of creation. Has
everything to do withmanifestation, the
interconnectedness of all life, blueprint of the universe.
That's what it represents. Itsgeometric arrangement of
overlapping circles forms thebasis of a ton of different
sacred geometry patterns, andthis is just one of them. A

(12:24):
crystal grid that would use theflower of life would be great
for manifestation because it'sconnecting you to the universal
energies and flows of abundancein the universe. Crystals that
you might want to use for thatwould be Citrine, pyrite, clear
quartz, of course, and you wantto put those at points of
intersection on the Flower ofLife grid to get what you want.

(12:46):
And it helps with manifestinggoals, enhancing your spiritual
growth and simply connecting tothe divine energy, which, of
course, weall really want to do.
Okay, let's talk about metatronsCube next, used typically for
balance, foundation andtransformation metatrons. Cube

(13:08):
is actually a sacred geometricfigure that contains all of the
platonic solids. Platonic solidsare geometric shapes, and you
can buy a platonic solid set indifferent crystals, and that's
what I highly recommend usingfor a Metatron cube crystal
grid. It's said to represent thebalance and harmony of the

(13:29):
cosmos, integrating bothmasculine and feminine energies.
And it's a it's a very powerfulone. And if you're going with
the whole platonic solids usage, you simply cannot go wrong. If
you want to transform andbalance the energy in your life,
transform becoming a betterversion of yourself, transform
into the person you want to bebalancing or foundational energy

(13:52):
if you can get things out ofcontrol and you're not really
focusing that, it's used toclear away blockages, and it can
also be used heavily forspiritual evolution.
Next,let's talk about the hexagon,
sacred geometry, shape for acrystal grid having everything
to do with harmony and balance.
Hexagon, by science, is a symbolof harmony and balance found in

(14:18):
nature. Honeycombs, snowflakes,for instance, it's
representative of theequilibrium, if you will,
between the spiritual andmaterial worlds. You use it in a
crystal grid for creatingharmony in your surroundings or
with inside yourself. It'seffective for balancing your own
personal relationships,emotional healing and grounding

(14:38):
energy. Good stones to use forthese harmony and balancing type
of crystal grids would be thingslike hematite, any sort of
Jasper and Garnet, and you putthose at the Verda, the vertices
of the hexagon, and itstabilizes and balances energy
up next up to that,we are going to talk about the
square. Stability andfoundation. This is one I do use

(15:00):
often, any time I'm doing a newproject where I need to shine
and I need to be a badass at it,but I the most important thing
you can do is have a stablefoundation. And so the square is
great for that. On paper, thesquare would represent things
like structure, foundation, stability. Think about the suit
of pentacles, the king ofpentacles actually in tarot,

(15:22):
very much the same. It's agrounding shape, and it brings
order and practical energy intoyour life. And so crystal grids
with a square layout are dealfor creating stability and order
in your personal or professionallife. Often you do those for
jobs and new projects. That typeof thing. Grounding crystals to
use would be like Tiger's eye,red Tiger's eye, red Jasper or

(15:43):
black obsidian, to put those onthe four corners, to set a
strong, energetic Foundation.
And so when you need long termfocus, then you really want to
do a square crystal grid. Andit's very similar to the circle
where we're putting that energyinside and protecting us from
what we need to what we need toget done and how we need to

(16:05):
shine. That is five. I'm gonnado one more for you folks. There
are plenty of other sacredgeometry, but I know that this
can be a lot to listen to, andyou're probably trying to maybe
write things down and that typeof thing. And these are the
basic ones that I use, honestly.
The one I use the most is thespiral that we talked about in
episode eight. But now we'regoing to talk about another
manifestation, sacred geometry, shape, and that is called the

(16:28):
triangle. It's similar. Triangleis symbolic of manifestation and
action, and actually ascension.
It represents a connectionbetween the mind, body and
spirit, or the Divine Trinity.
But I its core, it's used for incrystal griding, it's used for
manifestation. And so thetriangle grid is perfect for

(16:50):
focused energy work, such asmanifesting a goal or trying to
come up with spiritual growth. Isay spiritual growth because a
lot of people are seeking that, and they do spell work. They get
tarot readings, they read books, they do crystal grids. They get
herbs, anything to grow and getmore spiritual. And so this
energy is used to direct energyupwards for growth and

(17:12):
expansion, and if you want topush it pointing down, it's for
grounding and protection. But Ialways kind of go the up way. On
this one, clear quartz is agreat one for this when you're
going up green aventurine andCitrine have everything to do
with manifestation andprosperous manifestation doesn't
always mean money, but gettingthings done and finishing the
task at hand and shining whileyou do it. So those are six

(17:34):
sacred geometry shapes that youcan use for your crystal grids.
There are many others, and Ireally suggest that you all
research them, because crystalgreeting is such a powerful,
powerful activity to do. In manyways, it's more powerful than
just doing a quick ritual oreven a long term ritual. You

(17:57):
have to grab ingredients and doit. I love doing those things,
but you will get just as muchpowerful results when you do
crystal grids, because you'reharnessing all that energy with
crystals and a very ancientshape, and you're leaving it
intact. That's what I love aboutcrystal grids. You leave it
there until it is done, whereasa spell, you do it on a
Wednesday night, and then youhope for the best, not that

(18:18):
there's anything wrong withthat. I do spells and rituals
and ceremonial stuff all thetime, like, if I really want to
get down to brass tacks and getdown to business and make things
happen, I always turn to mycrystal toolkit and build myself
a crystal grid. I hope that hasbeen very beneficial for you.
Crystal gridding is somethingnear and dear to my heart, and
I'm actually ravens cauldron, our YouTube channel. I'm just

(18:40):
starting to ramp up the videoson that, and when I get those
done, I'm going to do a severallive crystal grids on there. So
definitely look forward to thatcoming up in the future, coming
up right now. We are going totalk about our deep dive into
the Tarot suit of swords, andhow you can spot patterns and
interpret these kind of toughcards in your personal readings.

(19:19):
All right, our final section ofseason three, and it is the suit
of swords, a very tough suit. Inmy opinion. I get tons and tons
of heavy duty sword readings inmy professional tarot readings

(19:39):
that I do, and I've studied thissuit and Tarot extensively
because it's an affliction suitfor me a lot of times. And we're
going to talk about just why. Sothe suit of swords and Tarot is
associated with the element ofair, and the swords were.

(20:00):
Present, mind, reason, intellect, conflict, truth and
it this too, delves deeply intothe realms of thought and
communication and how wenavigate conflict, whether
internal or external. They'reoften seen as challenging cards,
because we frequently deal withdifficulties in conflict. But a

(20:22):
lot of times, the conflict fromthe suit of Swords is just
drummed up in our own head, andthat's why they're kind of
tough, if you will. So some ofthe key themes in the suit of
swords, before we go throughsome of the cards, like we did
last time, would be again, thoughts and intellect and the
swords are symbolic of the mindand how we use our thoughts and

(20:43):
intellect to shape our lives andnavigate life's challenges. And
it reflects on the importance ofclear thinking and reasoning and
mental clarity, especially whenit comes to decision making and
problem solving. But where itcomes into trouble with thoughts
and intellect is that we canpreconceive things that are not
true, and we can make them up inour head.

(21:04):
I often,I often use an example of when
I, when I, when I get a heavyduty sword reading, and I have
to talk to someone, you know, when you get out of the shower
sometimes and you want to runpast the mirror so you don't see
yourself because you hate howyou look. It's that type of
thing that's not truenecessarily. That's just what
you've come up with. That's youropinion. And some of the
harshest opinions that we carryaround in our life are in our

(21:25):
own head, and they're about us.
It's our inner critic. Other keythemes for the pseudosaurus is
communication, part of the airelement. It focuses on how we
communicate with others, andourselves, and ourselves is the
important one, and it includesverbal and written
communication, honesty and theimpact of our words, realizing

(21:46):
that words matter,misunderstandings, using harsh
words and harsh statements andconflicts and communication are
represented all in the suit ofswords, conflict and struggle as
well. Suit of Swords isnotorious for representing
conflict, external and internal.
These cards in this suit oftenreflect upon strife and

(22:06):
challenges and battles withourselves and others, but mostly
ourselves, really. And they cansignify, you know, the struggle
for truth and integrity andjustice. And they can also
represent mental and emotionalturmoil. A suit often addresses
the more challenging aspects ofour human experience, and that's
what makes us a tough, toughsuit, anxiety, stress, betrayal,

(22:29):
grief. And they appear duringtimes of mental strain and
emotional conflict, and that'swhy you have to really pay
attention to these when theycome up in a reading, because it
means that somebody is ishurting, if you will. We have a
human soul in front of us. It'shurting, and it's our job as
tarot readers to kind of helpthem through that, if you will.

(22:52):
The zodiac signs for the suit ofswords are Gemini Libra and
Aquarius, and it's linked to theintellectual and communicative
nature of swords, oftenassociated with the season of
autumn. It represents a time forcontemplation, rational decision
making, before we gointrospective in winter. So I

(23:12):
talked about the ace of wandslast time and how aces kind of
they're exciting, they'rejubilant, they're highly
energetic, because it's apossibility, it's potential. But
where we come into things is wekind of need to follow through,

(23:35):
if you will, and and so I alwaystell people, you have a new
opportunity, but we really needto nurture it and cultivate it
if we want it to work. It's notjust going to pop out of the sky
for you. But we already talkedabout that with swords, so I'm
not going to err with one. SoI'm not going to talk about the
Ace of Swords today. I'mactually going to talk about the

(23:55):
nine of swords. I get this cardso often in readings for people,
and it just goes to show howaccurate Tarot can be in a real
life setting. And when I say ina real life setting, you know, I
always let my queer and hold mycards. That's a taboo subject
with certain people, but I needtheir energy if you come to get
a Tarot reading with me, I'vebeen using the same set of cards

(24:16):
for decades. Yes, you're goingto touch them. Yes, you're going
to shuffle them, because I needyou on them, because that's how
we're going to get the rightreading. And so the nine of
swords comes up a lot, and it'sthat black background with all
those swords sitting on thewall, and there's a figure with
his or her face buried in theirhands. It's like the middle of
the night, and they can't sleep,and it's the it's a card of
anxiety, nightmares and mentalanguish, and a lot of people go

(24:38):
through this on the regular.
It's reflecting sleeplessnights, worry how your mind will
not shut off, and you areconsumed by fear, or even worse,
regret. And it really goes downand boils down to the i.

(25:00):
Overthinking of situations andinternal fears that need to be
dealt with, if you will, such apowerful card. And I actually
like to see it come up. I don'tlike to see it come out, because
I don't want anybody suffering.
But when it does come up, it isso helpful, because it sheds
light on the matter to someone, and it helps them kind of deal.
Deal with it, if you will.

(25:24):
Now, last time I talked aboutthe page of wands, and I'm
actually going to talk about thepage of swords today, we talked
a little bit about how the courtcards, the pages knights, queens
and kings, are energies. Andreally, I don't focus so much on
quadrants of life, even thoughthat is documented in a lot of
Tarot books. You know, theperson that's from zero to 18 is

(25:47):
a page, and 18 to 39 ish is anight, and so on and so on. And
they're quadrants of life. Butit really, it's the energy, and
it's nothing to do with how oldyou are. You know you could be a
10 year old and you could getfour kings in your reading,
because you're hitting it on alleight cylinders for what you're

(26:09):
talking about. So don't everthink about it that way. But
pages I love because they are.
They're that youthful energywhere you were less jaded, where
you you didn't have the answerto everything, and you were
curious and thirsting for thoseanswers, and you were looking at
things in different ways, whereas, when you get a little
longer down the road and you getinto the queens and kings, it's
a much more refined energy and amuch more you know, the Queen of

(26:31):
Swords is much, much moreequipped to deal with her
emotions and applying them towhat comes out of Her mouth that
is sitting in her head than apage is, for instance, but the
the queen is a little morejaded, you know, she has some
wisdom, and so the page iscompletely curious and has

(26:52):
mental agility. And that's thething I want you to remember
about pages, especially with thepage of swords. It's mental
agility, and when you are readyto explore new ways and new
ideas and new ways tocommunicate, that's when it gets
really, really sharp and good.

(27:13):
It encourages sharp thinking andto stay open. And that's the key
here, open to new information, whereas you start getting into a
night. Nights are definitelyespecially the knight of swords
knows everything, and you're notgoing to tell them anything. The
page is open and receptive toall energies and all ways of
thinking, and it's not preclosing the deal, but more

(27:33):
accepting and let me hear allfacets of this situation before
I finally come up with my activeintellect and the thought that
I'm going to file away in mybrain about how I feel about it,
and that is what is soimportant. So to counteract the
nine of swords that anxiety, Ialways, always, always, if the

(27:55):
page of swords doesn't come upin the tarot reading, I talk
about this card, and I tell theperson to reflect upon that
card, because that is a thatthat is the antidote to the nine
of swords, and it's just beingyouthful in the way you think
and the way you processinformation, and not pre closing
the deal because of a pasttrauma that you've had, which is
exactly why this is such a toughsuit. So that's it, my friends,

(28:17):
that is the suit of swords wetalked about a couple cards and
just how tough it is. And I'mvery excited to talk about the
other suits in an upcomingseason, so you can balance it
all out, and you can start tosee how these four suits make a
well balanced, perfect life. Andthen you start adding in major
arcana with it, and we've gotourselves some major powerful

(28:40):
stuff in Tarot. And I live andbreathe it. I've been doing it
for over 40 years, and I love, love, love, sharing it with each
of you. So I hope that this hasbeen something beneficial to
you, and that you've been ableto glean some good knowledge out
of it. Youall right, friends, and that is

(29:09):
a wrap on season three of anintentional spiritual living
with Brian. I sincerely, fromthe bottom of my heart, hope you
have enjoyed this as much as Ihave, these are topics of my
life. I'm sharing a piece of mylife with you. I'm not reading
from books. I don't have ascript. I write down on a piece.
If you could sit here with me, Ihave a piece of paper here for
