Even though Kathy Mancl has been in music for decades, she, in a number of ways, is just getting started. In 2024 she released her debut album, Red Hot Lover, from which two of the tracks won WAMI Awards and in recent years joined two of Wisconsin's biggest bands, Vic Ferrari and STEEM. From starting out in a working country band at the age of ten up to now, there has been no stopping her. As for her recordings, she pulls in some of Wisconsin's top talent to write with and to back her. In other words, Kathy has the respect and loyalty of the artists around because she's earned it.
