It's autumn, so we are sticking with the theme of all things magical in the world of nature! This week it was such an absolute pleasure to chat with the wonderful Matt Davies, from Mossy Earth.
Matt has a passion for the outdoors, preservation of the natural world and is co-founder of Mossy Earth; which is a social enterprise whose main aim is to deliver real environmental change and make a positive impact on the state of wilderness and forests. Mossy Earth work with one mission in mind, to restore wild ecosystems, support wildlife and biodiversity and help fight climate change.They work on re-wilding environmentally impoverished land to create wilderness that flourish and thrive
In today's episode we will be discussing how re-wilding and reforesting, by planting native tree species, can help reduce flooding, bring back natural biodiversity, wildlife and much more. We talk about how the simple art of Nature Bathing (Shinrinyoko) can reduce stress levels and even improve sleep. We will also be discussing some projects you can get involved in, including reintroduction of wolves to the wild, education, and how you can plant and visit a tree for any special occasion!
