Who knew about the intense pressure, demanding schedules, unique subculture, and low, low, very low pay for these professional NFL cheerleaders? We do, and so does the world, now.
Will the cheerleaders ultimately win the battle to get some baseline respect and compensation? Hopefully.
Because they are world-class dancers and athletes who deserve to be treated as such. This is a very compelling and complicated docu-reality series, and a total surprise in many ways.
