Speaker 1 (00:03):
What if your next business partner was AI?
Could it save you time andenergy while increasing your
profit margin, and how would youactually feel about that?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Today we're peeling back the curtain on how we've
been integrating AI into ourbusiness and, as two
neurodivergent business ownersrunning busy home lives and
growing a business together, committing to learning and using
AI has opened our mind as tohow we can truly get actions
done that would honestlyotherwise take us way too long,
get put off or cost us too muchto delegate.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Hey there friends.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Welcome to the Intuitive Marketing Podcast,

through the wild world ofmarketing your business with
heart and soul.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Are you feeling lost or overwhelmed, maybe unsure of

next five years, 10 years.

(01:18):
that won't make you cringe.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
We're actually here to help you bring the magic back
into your marketing.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Because marketing should feel good, not gross.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Grab your favorite drink, get comfy and let's get
started.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Okay.
So I embraced AI right off thebat when I heard that it was
coming out.
I had heard about it throughsocial media and I was so
excited by it.
I was like this is so cool.
I started playing with it rightaway and I really it really was
clicked in my brain of oh wow, this can help me really make

(01:54):
decisions much more quickly, help me with ideas, because I
have an ability to have a verybig idea but not have the
language to put in.
And even as I'm explaining this, you can hear like I am not
super clear on, but I can workwith AI to really tease that out
and then feel so much moreclarity.
So I did use it from the verybeginning, but now I am learning

(02:17):
more about being consciousaround the ethics of it and how
much it impacts the environment, and I want to stay really on
top of that.
But I also know that it's notgoing anywhere.
Like how can?
The question that's on my heartand intuition is like how can
we use AI for good and use it inan ethical way?

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Yeah, and it's all so new, like even though it
launched like less than twoyears ago OpenAI and there's so
many spinoff softwares and somany existing softwares we were
already using, like Canva andBuzzsprout and different things,
now have an AI component or anextra add-on that you can have,
and so I've been really drawn tolearning AI.

(02:59):
There's the line one in myhuman design chart, that's I
need to learn it before I canspeak about it.
I've always been really drawnto it for finding efficiency and
managing my energy, because asa part-time business owner, we
got to be effective and we gotto be efficient, and so if I'm
putting deep thought energy intothings that can be done by

(03:20):
someone else or by AI, then it'sgoing to save my most like
potent energy for actuallyworking with clients and doing
the big work.
But I'm someone who's grappleda little bit more with whether
it could be truly authentic.
You see so many people talkshit about.
Oh, you know, something has beencreated by Chachi PT if it uses
Game Changer or Rocket E rocketemoji, and so I really wanted

(03:44):
to get the big picture andimmerse myself for a little
while on.
How can it be super customizedso that it's actually
representing me.
I often think about how muchtime it goes into training an
intern or an assistant and howmuch forethought has to go into
that, and so I really wanted tolearn how to train it.

(04:06):
So that it wasn't obvious.
It was like more serving meinstead of distracting my
audience.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
And I think we're getting really good at that and
we're getting to the point ofwhat I look at.
It, as is too, is you're alwaysgoing to edit and iterate
things, and that's what I lookat, chatgp2dm.
I don't just put something inthere and then just take it and
slap it up on a social mediapost.
It really helps us organize likeme specifically helps me

(04:35):
organize my thoughts andorganize my writing in a way
that, taking my words and justputting them in a way that I can
then read it back and say, oh,that's so clear.
And as somebody with ADHD and Iam a verbal processor, I love
the feature on ChatGPT where youcan actually talk just right
into it.
So sometimes I'll be on a walkand have an idea and put it in

(04:58):
there and then it will lay out awhole masterclass idea for me.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
And now if?

Speaker 1 (05:04):
I went on my walk, then came back.
I would be folding laundry orputting dishes away or something
and totally forgot that I hadthat master class idea.
So I think using it as like anassistant too has been really
helpful, and especially for justlike my brain and working and

(05:24):
we are people that hold energyfor our families, we hold energy
for our community, we holdenergy for our clients.
It's nice to have a place whereyou can just land and say here
are all the things that I'mthinking now reflect that back
to me.
It's without giving me youropinion.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
It's nice yeah, and I actually, when I'm training a
chat, I will tell the threadthat I have ADHD and that I'm
gonna forget steps.
So I ask it along the way tolike recap what the steps are
that we've talked about and makea checklist at the end.
So one of the places one of thethreads that I did that for is

(06:01):
Saturday bookkeeping, so everySaturday we pay all of the team
members that have done work forclients in the agency and I like
divvy up.
Did we meet our weekly goal, did we not?
And every week it felt like Iwas restarting, because ADHD
Chelsea was like what tabs did Iopen last Saturday?
And so I spent probably twohours on one Saturday training a

(06:23):
particular thread on everythingthat it needs to know about my
business and how we doaccounting and what our
bookkeeper does and what I needto do every Saturday.
And now, every Saturday I openit and I'm just like ready to
get started.
Today I also asked it to giveme a positive affirmation.
Oh, intuition.
I was like make sure to pump meup, because sometimes if it's

(06:45):
been a slow week, I can feeldown Right, and so that has been
super helpful.
Because that's a repetitive taskthat is not my zone of genius,
but as a business owner, I needto do it, and so how can I do it
effectively?
Another one that was a bigproject for me was sitting down
and really auditing what are theoffers and the packages that we

(07:06):
want to continue offering in2025.
And I needed to figure out thepricing.
Now, a lot of people raisetheir prices around the new year
, and so we were coming up onthe new year and I wanted to get
really honest on profitability, and so I trained it and we
created a spreadsheet.
I trained it to know what theprofit margin needed to be on
every project and to hold meaccountable to not price too low

(07:29):
to make sure that the packageswe were creating would be
profitable for the agency and asaccessible as possible for our
clients.
So I also trained it on ourvalue of like pricing,
accessibility and how much wepay each of our team members
hourly and projects, and so thattook a while to train that, but
then it created this massivedocument that had, for every

(07:51):
single offer, what we needed tocharge, what the deliverables
were, who would be paid what.
So that was like a very.
It would have taken me like twoweeks to do that chipping away.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
That would take a human, exactly OK, today I can
do this package.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Today I can do this package and tomorrow I can do
this package, and so I sat in myarmchair with chubby tea and a
glass of tea for two, threehours and got it started and
then finished it.
So that was a huge one.
I've also been using it toaudit website copy.
So, as we've been more clearlylike bringing you in to the
brand and being like, okay,we're going to have pictures of
Meg and both of our stories, Ihad to audit our intuitive

(08:27):
business by design page andhighlight where it would make
sense to be highlighting yourstory, your expertise.
And then, because I had trainedit on our about us page and
just different like placetranscripts of places we've
spoke, it knew enough about someof your stories to put it in,
and so then it was, I think, alot easier for you to go edit
and be like, oh, I'd say thisdifferently or whatnot yeah,

(08:50):
yeah and then also I've beenusing it to talk through
conversion rates.
So, like the funnel that we havesome ads running to, right now
we haven't had an enormousamount of traffic yet because it
just launched and so saying, okay, if this number of people
have seen the page and thisnumber of people have opted in,
is this a good averageconversion rate for cold traffic

(09:11):
, cold ad traffic.
Ok, it's a little bit low, butthat means like here's some
considerations we could take.
It was so helpful, so it wasn'tan emotional oh no, it's not
converting how we was like, oh,you're less than a month into
the campaign, it's learning youraudience, don't stress.
That was super helpful.
And then also something that isrelevant for what we're doing

(09:31):
right now is that we havedeveloped a custom GPT bot to be
a podcast production assistant, and so it's really cool that I
can actually go into this GPT.
What I do is when we have arecording session, like today, I
go through our telegram andlook at ideas that we've had, or
good riffs that we had, or blogposts that we shared with each

(09:52):
other that we liked, and I pullthose and put it into this GPT
as a topic idea and then itgenerates this whole outline
that we've trained it on of howwe typically like to flow.
And then it takes us well, Idon't know five, 10 minutes to
go through and customize who'sgoing to talk about what.
And then we're also going to bemaking it so that we'll be able

(10:12):
to take the transcript of eachpodcast episode, drop it into a
Google folder and have ChatGPTand Zapier make a baby, a blog
post.
That will be, from our words, Iguess, the takeaway for me.
I was so nervous about itfeeling authentic and speaking
like me, but I've just gottenreally comfortable with training
it.
Here's the knowledge base ofwhat you need to know.

(10:34):
If you were a college interncoming in to help me with
podcast production, what wouldyou need to know?
You would need to know some ofour best episodes and read the
transcripts, and so I feed itintuitively of what would a
human being need to know to playthis role and really spending
the time to do that once.
It's not like an intern who'sgoing to come in hungover the

(10:54):
next day and have forgottenno-transcript, or there's all

(11:27):
different ones.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
There's Gemini, chatgpt, claude, yeah,
perplexity, so there's differentones that work for different
people, or just like Perplexityis really good for like research
and things like that, I believe.
So when you go on, you're justtyping into it and then you can
set up like projects, whatChelsea is talking about.

(11:49):
Creating your own GPT is likecreating your own little robot
within that.
GPT.
So there's many layers here andit actually, if this is
something you're not totallyinterested in, it might feel
like your eyes just glaze overand you're like you can't
imagine it.
But once you get into, it is alot easier for non-technical
people.
So it sounds really technicaland it's actually really

(12:12):
language.
It's language based, it's alanguage learning model.
That's what it is the tech sideof it.
So it is.
It's not you don't need code oranything like that.
So it's very accessible.
It's not you don't need code oranything like that, so it's
very accessible.
And I don't want you to getoverwhelmed to thinking about oh
my God, all of these.
Totally it sounds very highlevel.
But one example I can talkabout and what I have done for

(12:34):
our Intuitive MarketingCollective Instagram page we
really want we have this idea ofreally creating and having us
be visible without being visibleevery day.
So what would it feel like tocreate 12 weeks of content and
get it all programmed intoSocial B and have it done?

(12:56):
So I worked with ChatGPT by.
I just take my Google Docs.
We actually have downloadedthem as what is the word for it?
It's the MX files.
Mx file.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Yeah, something like that.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
Our AI coach told us that it reads MX files better,
so I've been uploading some ofour brand voice, our samples of
our writing, our differentpackages, things like that and I
uploaded that into ChatGPT andtold it on each day of the week
what my theme is and what I wantto cover, and I want it to

(13:33):
circulate between educational, inspiring and thought leadership
.
I don't know what the otherword is, I don't have it in
front of me right now Content, but if you have questions about
this, you can reach out to us.
And it was able to pump outthree months of concepts of
posts and then also put it intoa table, a Google table, a

(13:55):
Google sheet, and now what I'lldo is then I'll go through and
create the images and I'llcreate more of the captions.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
But it made it that process.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
It's a real heavy lift and for people who are like
we're working five hours a day, that's what I get when my kids
are at school, right, so to havesomething to cut down on that
time and then be able toorganize me and keep me on task,
to potentially be visible sixdays a week for three months
once I get that all uploaded iswhoa, yeah, it's really.

(14:26):
It gives that kind of you might.
We've felt the hustle in thepast and now it's okay.
I can work this, especially asa manifester.
I could be creative for thisburst and then ride the wave of
yeah, so that's exciting.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
We'll let you know, we'll fill you in.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
so that's exciting.
We'll let you know, we'll fillyou in once that gets all out
there.
It also has really been helpingme in one of our freebies that
we created and now we're movingon to the next project, which is
our service and pricing guide.
It's helped me put thattogether in Canva, so not that
I'm taking it directly fromChachi being putting in Canva,
I'm using a template in Canva.

(15:02):
But I'm using our pricingdocument that Chelsea had worked
on to then lay out like aservice guide, ebook type style,
and it's just saving me so muchtime, just like helping us
create the copy it's alreadytaking from what we have created
, but just breaking down thatorganization and telling me.
It's been really helpful theretoo.

(15:24):
And then, yeah, it also hasjust helped me personally with
recording different brainstormideas, like I said, like when
I'm on a walk or something tocreate either a transcript for a
master class or a layout for aclass, I rely on it more for
that organization and layout.
That just saves me a lot oftime.

(15:45):
Creating task lists also of okayI have to do.
I recently just did a workshopselling on stories in our
community and it helped me layout the different topics that I
wanted to cover.
It was all my idea, yeah, yeah.
But then it just lays out okay, make sure to talk about this
and this.
It was really helpful.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
And I think, as you were saying, that I care a lot
about making sure we're meetingdifferent learning styles as
well and so that, as we'recreating content, we could even
train it.
Hey, we'd like to make surethat there's visual cues,
auditory cues, like differentways that we're engaging
students and people who areparticipating in our membership,
so something for us to remember.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
So it really is just like an ultimate assistant for
us.
The thought of hiring apersonal not a personal
assistant, a virtual assistantin the past was so overwhelming
to me because I didn't even knowwhat to assign them, right,
like it felt okay, this is agreat idea in theory, but to me
I didn't know.
So I can use ChachiPT to sayokay, these are the five

(16:45):
projects I'm working on.
Tell me where I should startfirst.
It helps me brainstorm likethat and get myself saves just
so much time in between, likewhen I start, when I have a
thought for a project, and whenI start it.
It also with creative ideas andcontent creation.
It really helps, again, maximize your efficiency by

(17:08):
helping with a first draft or anidea.
You can.
I will often say something likewe work with intuitive
entrepreneurs who are startingtheir business.
Whatever.
Describe your person and saygive me a list of 10 to 20
problems that they have.
That would be a lot of time todo the market research for that,

(17:28):
right, yeah, but if you coulddo that with chat, gpt, and then
you can then say okay, here'sthe list of problems my ideal
client has.
Create 10 pieces of content andthen so it's like it, you.
It then breaks it down intoanother step and then you can
take each piece of content andsay write directly to this kind
of person and help you make acaption for that.

(17:49):
It helps you really create moreomnipresence because you can
get more content done.
That's actual quality content, speaking to your people, and it
gives you a little bit of easearound showing up in more places
.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
That makes a lot of sense, yeah, and with our
journey, we were looking atstepping into 2025, knowing the
scalability that we want to bestepping into and also this idea
of creating self-managed incomestreams, and so we decided to
collectively invest in workingwith an AI speed coach, and it's
someone who I've worked withfor years in different

(18:25):
capacities.
I really value her, I know shecares about the ethics of things
, and we really wanted to justget what are some real world
examples people who are reallydeep into AI are doing.
Because, like I never would havethought about how she's helping
us create this blog post yeah,it's awesome.
In a million years, I would nothave figured that out on my own
of how to take this transcriptand turn it into a blog post,

(18:48):
and so I wanted to really besurrounding myself with people
who I think are doing a greatjob in business and just in
being a human.
And what are you using this for?
And also looking to softwarethat we already pay for and use,
like we use Buzzsprout to hostour podcast and for an extra
five bucks a month, we can havetheir copy AI assistant.

(19:08):
It basically takes thetranscript and creates the
description and gives us fivesuggestions for titles and some
ideas of what some social mediaposts could be.
Descript also has a littleadd-on called Underlord, which
is creepy, but it does so muchit does like mastering of the
audio and all kinds of things.
So just looking, even if you arejust curious, looking at

(19:30):
software you're already using, free or paid is there a way to
implement AI?
And if so, go on to YouTube, watch some tutorials, like
seeing if it feels doable foryou to step in and see how it
cuts some time for you if itfeels doable for you to step in
and see how it cuts some timefor you.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
A lot of the social media things like Social B,
metricool, flick things likethat have different AI
components too.
Again, yeah, like just lookingat how you can cut down on some
of your time, and, especiallywhere we work with a lot of
highly sensitive and busyentrepreneurs, what are ways
that we can get out in front?
So many of our people have sucha beautiful and potent message
on the heart that they want toget out and help people with,

(20:08):
and this is something that canhelp you do so more efficiently.
And one of the ways is, like itreally can help reduce your
decision fatigue and overwhelm,at least in my case of OK, I
want to do a masterclass freebie, let me sit down and talk to
GPT.
This is my expertise.
Give me five ideas on amasterclass that would speak

(20:30):
directly to my audience.
Like you could pay a coach to dothat.
Like we do that with people too, right?
But that's expensive and noteveryone is in that space right
now.
So how can you use it to dothat?
Generate some income foryourself and then you can hire
out the humans, right, it isimportant.
We do want to pay humans.
We believe that, but how can weget people?

(20:52):
There's a lot of coaches thataren't making the money that
they need right now.
So use this in order to bolsteryourself up so you can invest in
the people around you, up soyou can invest in the people
around you.
It also helps, like creatingsystems that honor our energy
level and on those times that wehave lower energy or we really

(21:13):
just need that help.
It can be jog our memory onlike projects that we're working
on, or help our creativity.
It also just helps me withpersonal care.
I spent last night putting intelling it like what my health
goals were and what my weightand life circumstances are, and

(21:33):
it gave me an amazing customizedplan along with a grocery list,
along with like a mapped outcalendar.
So that just takes all thethought out of it for me.
If I can just hold myselfaccountable, hopefully I'll be
taking better care of myselfthis week, and I didn't have to
spend an hour like chatting withsomebody about it because I've

(21:55):
spent 15 years hiring differentpeople around.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
That I just want to get to the meat of it and help
me there.
That's so interesting and, Ithink, why solopreneurs most of
our clients are a personal brandcoaches, healers, speakers,
authors, and so, especially ifyou are just looking for ways to
buy back time or to stayconsistent, I think so many
small business owners strugglewith consistency.

(22:20):
Is it consistency of emailingyour list?
Is it consistency of showing upon social media?
Is it consistency of doing alaunch to get bigger visibility?
Consistency on pitchingyourself to podcasts?
Is there one thing that youstruggle with on consistency
that you could just startexploring how AI could help you
with that, because there'sthings that we all need to do.

(22:41):
On repeat, I need to pay ourteam every Saturday.
I need to, we need to record ourpodcasts, and so what are some
of the things that need tohappen You've committed to doing
and just gradually explore morecomplex things.
Like it doesn't have to becomplex to start with, and
something I'm excited aboutdoing is and it will take a
little time for me to carve outbut even customer service.

(23:02):
Like I want to create a customGPT so that when people come
into our membership, it willonboard them hey, where are you
at in business and ask it somequestions and then be like, oh,
you'd be a really greatcandidate to start with our
intuitive marketing frameworkworkshop and it can even assign
homework to say, once you'vewatched that workshop, come to

(23:22):
our next group coaching call andlet Chelsea or Meg know what
phase of your marketing thatyou're in, and that like help.
I think it will help withengagement yeah, of people
feeling like they're not lost, and I think direction.
I really feel, just from anethic standpoint and where
things are going, I feel likebusiness owners could freak out

(23:43):
and be like this is going toreplace me, but what I really
think is going to happen justwith your example maybe you
aren't in the market right nowto hire a nutritionist and a
personal trainer, but it'sgetting you going and so if you
were going to hire a personaltrainer, it might be because you
want that personal touch.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
Exactly Like.
I want to go to the gym withthat, exactly.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
I think there's going to be a re-emphasis on bringing
your energetic fingerprint, bringing your like zone of
genius, because people can getthe basics from anywhere.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
And so as a thought, leader.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
It's like now.
It's almost forcing you to ownyour bigness and being ready to
be on bigger stages and beingmore visible, because people are
going to still need people andthey're going to be inspired by
people and learn from people andbe moved by people.
And I think it's going to forcethose of us who really care
about making a big impact in theworld to do it, because selling

(24:39):
a $27 e-book is not going to beas compelling to people because
they could go Google and chatto PT and get that.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
Exactly.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
Let's give you guys some just simple homework.
Here's our thought is maybeyou've heard something on here
that you didn't even know youcould do with AI.
We certainly don't want you tobe overwhelmed.
Hopefully this can be moreabout an inspiration, of
thinking about how you could dipyour toe in or go even deeper
in your business, of using AIfor efficiency and for
protecting your energy, and soour simple homework is just to

(25:12):
explore with a free orentry-level AI tool.
So that could be ChatGPT,Claude Gemini more for like copy
or writing Canva there's somany even like image making Our
speed coach makes these likegorgeous images of her.
Of course, it's on brand for her, like her writing sea dragons
and her writing like differentthings, just to be like shock

(25:32):
value.
But even if it's like figuringout some simple ways to be more
consistent, I would say for thehomework identifying one area of
your business that you keepsaying you're going to be
consistent or go all in on andyou're just not following
through and explore how that onepiece could potentially be
supported by AI to be moreconsistent.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
So exciting.
There's so much that I can helpyou with.
We hope that you found thisepisode of the Intuitive
Marketing Podcast as inspirationto help you bring the magic
back into your own marketing.
Our goal is for this podcast tobe a compass in the chaos.

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

I’m Jay Shetty host of On Purpose the worlds #1 Mental Health podcast and I’m so grateful you found us. I started this podcast 5 years ago to invite you into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make you happier, healthier and more healed. I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
