Speaker 1 (00:01):
Love, stress or hate.
In today's episode, I'd like toshare some thoughts and
insights about navigating ourworld today.
As a reminder, every situationwe view is happening for us.
It's not to us.
It's an opportunity to focusinward on love and open your
heart and minds to what ispossible.

(00:22):
Let's go, heart and minds towhat is possible.
Let's go.
Welcome back to the IntuitiveMentor Mom podcast, where we
explore strategies forpracticing more self-love,
gratitude and finding new waysto empower ourselves in this
ever-changing healing adventureof life happening for us.

(00:42):
I'm your host, tara Michelle.
Let's get started.
Welcome back to the show.
I would like to piggyback on acomment that I made in the last
episode where I was working innot working, but interviewing my
son.
We're just having aconversation, the fireside chat
with my son, which was reallyfun, but I was talking about

(01:09):
where we're at in the state ofthe world the chaos, people
plugging into all of the noiseand the chaos.
So I wanted to talk a littlebit more about that and really
share some perspective on how Inavigate this world today.
What if I said this entireworld that we're watching

(01:33):
dismantle?
What if I said it was all forus, it's happening for us and
it's happening for us to findmore love within our hearts and
minds.
What would you say if I saidthat?
Well, I am saying that.
So what are you saying?
What's the first thing thatcomes to your mind when I say if

(01:56):
you look at all of thepolitical stuff education,
financial, stock market, everything going on in the world
today, globally what if I saidit was all happening for you so

(02:18):
that you could find more lovewithin your heart and mind?
And I'm curious what thatinitially brings up for you.
So right now I'm going to say alist of words and I want you to
tune into your body and beginto notice what you feel in your
body.
What thoughts pop up in yourmind when I say Trump's in

(02:40):
office, tariff wars, officetariff wars.
Us social security issues, canadian prime minister changes
from liberal to conservative.
How about US government changesfrom more balanced to really

(03:00):
heavy conservative?
The Pope died, klaus Schwabstepped down from WEF.
Laws and regulations of genderissues, abortion laws and rights

(03:21):
, border control, educationfunding or defunding, defunding
the police, doge, ukraine, russia, china, us human

(03:44):
trafficking, rfk Jr, vaccines,vaccines.
So I just shared a list of wordsand I want you to listen to.
What are the thoughts runningin your mind and maybe even feel
what's happening in your body.
If anything, some of you mayfeel nothing.
You're like, yeah, so what,tara?
So so what?
But there might be some of youthat are really triggered by

(04:08):
some of the things I just said.
Now, what if I were to say allof that that I just shared is
illusions.
What do you hear there?
And then if I said, all of thatthat I just shared are

(04:29):
situations that are illusions ofa world we constructed through
our thoughts and all of ouremotions.
Those thoughts I'll say thatagain the world you see is an
illusion happening for you, constructed through thoughts and

(04:54):
all of the emotions behind ourglobal thoughts.
At any point did you hearnegative thoughts?
Did you hear maybe somecomplaints or rackets or maybe
two-bit comments?
Have you noticed at all if yourbody's changed, if your body's

(05:17):
feeling tense?
You know, one thing that Ialways recognize is like
sometimes my shoulders will beall pent up and I won't even
recognize it until I'm likerelaxing them and thinking, oh,
my shoulders were really tense.
Is your jaw clenched at all?
Do you have a furrowed brow andyou don't even notice it?

(05:38):
Is there any stiffness in yourbody.
Is there any stiffness in yourbody?
And at any point while I wassharing this, were you
experiencing any of the symptomsthat I just mentioned?
Because I see those as symptoms.
Those are symptoms of stressaround situations and

(06:02):
circumstances that the majorityof us have very little control
over.
So I'm going to say that againand I am trying to make a point
here, but I want you to reallythink about the symptoms of
stress around situations andcircumstances that you, myself

(06:28):
and most of the people that weinteract with have very little
control over, circumstances thatwe have little control over,
unless, of course, I'm surethere could be somebody that's
listening to this podcast thatworks directly with one of those
organizations or one of thosepeople or is somehow directly

(06:49):
related with any of thosesituations.
And if that's the case, youhave every right to feel and
experience whatever you'reexperiencing because you are
impacted by one of thosesituations, because you are
directly related to thesituation, directly of those
situations, because you aredirectly related to the
situation directly.
If you are not directly relatedto the situation, then you don't

(07:21):
have a lot of control in ittoday, right, no-transcript?

(07:46):
What does it have to do withyour children, your friends, you
and your friends, you and yourcolleagues, you and your
immediate family, you and yourextended family.
What does it have to do withany of those relationships in
your life and anything happeningin your immediate life?

(08:08):
I'm going to assert not much.
Now.
One way it can show up that ithas to do with those people is
because they are also bitchingand griping about those things
every day.
But let's just imagine we turnall that off and we just say

(08:31):
we're going to take a hiatus ora break from the news for 48
hours and we're not going tothink about any of it, any of it
, none of it unless, of course, you are directly having to
navigate it in this very moment.
But if you are not, what is itdoing for you?

(08:54):
What does it have to do withyou or anything in your present
moment?
I say this because the majorityof the people on this planet are
walking around, talking aboutand focusing on all of these
things that create stress.
They create fear, it createsanxiety in your body and the

(09:19):
other wild thing is it createsseparation from your family,
separation from your communityand ultimately here's the kicker
ultimately, separation from youand your true essence within
you.
You have zero time to check inwith you because you are so busy

(09:40):
and so distracted by all thenoise, the rage, the chaos and
the unlimited and unfilteredstreaming of the worldwide web
on your phone, every day, allday, from the moment you wake up

(10:00):
to the moment you go to bedHeadline, headline, headline.
Real, real, real Propaganda, propaganda, propaganda, friends,
post, anger, rage, post, post, post, post, post.
Did you see this?
Did you hear about that?
Did you know?
Did you know?
It's like.
It's like telephone on uber, uber multiple steroids exploding

(10:27):
out the brain.
And what does it have to dowith your immediate life?
Right now, nothing.
And so my question is, as acollective whole, what do we do
to actually shift what'shappening on the planet right

(10:48):
now?
Like if we really wanted tobring the ultimate level of
goodness on this planet rightnow, what could we do?
I'm going to share what I thinkwe could do.
It is an opinion, and, yes, opinions are like assholes

(11:09):
Everybody's got one.
But this is one I feel verypassionate about right now,
because I walk around hearingpeople constantly racketing and
complaining about things thatthey see on their phone, that
they can't or don't have anycontrol over the election's,

(11:31):
over y'all.
So you gotta let it go untilyou can elect, until it's voting
time for your state or yourcounty, and then in four more
years, okay, or your county.
And then in four more years, okay, that's it.
Once you've cast that vote, that's it.
Unless, of course, you want togo petition and lobby and do

(11:53):
things.
Hey, knock your socks off.
I challenge those who want togo.
Step into that ring and do that.
But if you're not, there isnothing to complain about other
than allowing the governments orwhoever city officials, state

(12:14):
officials to do their job.
Okay, some of you are probablyvery triggered and mad at me for
saying all this, but I'm goingto say it because I'm frustrated
.
I'm frustrated, okay.
So what I say is take yourpower back.
That's what I've been trying todo, and I think I've been

(12:42):
successfully doing it at times.
Taking my power back, notplugging in.
Or when people come to me.
Did you see what Trump did?
Now you know, like I said inthe fireside chat, you want to
bitch about what he did.
Then you got to go all the wayback to 1913, when the Federal
Reserve was put into place, andthen you got to do your research

(13:02):
from that day forward.
At the end of the day, it'sshit on shit on shit on shit on
shit.
Okay.
And the constant battle andarguing of two parties back and
forth okay, there's a lot of youknow icing on that shit pie,

(13:23):
okay.
So unplug and maybe tryobserving the news.
Don't become the news, becauseI am definitely not saying don't
follow the news, I skim, I skimit, I listen for certain things
going on.

(13:43):
I realize some things areimportant, but I don't become
the news.
And if I become the news, thatis a trigger for me to know,
girl, you are plugged intosomething that unless you're
gonna go out and file a petitionand start beating the drum and
gathering the community to gomake a change, then you need to

(14:04):
sit back down and get focused onwhat is right in front of you
and what's important.
So observe the news, don'tbecome the news.
Observe it and see it from anobjective point of view.
Do some research around it, askquestions, but try not making
it wrong and just be with.

(14:25):
Huh, that's interesting.
I wonder what will come of that.
Do things you love and do themmore often and always.
What are the things you love?
Do the things you love Start togarden, invite your friends
over for dinner or a barbecue ora fire pit, whatever.

(14:48):
Float down the river.
Do things you love.
Take more 10 minute breaksthroughout the day.
Step outside, stretch your body, breathe in the air and stand
in nature.
Be in nature.
Be in nature.
Call a friend the moment theypop into your mind and just say

(15:13):
hi, even if it's I don't have alot of time to talk, but you've
been on my mind and I justwanted to say I love you.
Just wanted to say I'm thinkingof you.
Do that, don't put it off.
Go to sleep when you're tired.
Stop scrolling through yourphone and go to sleep when
you're tired.
Your body is tired and it needssome rest.

(15:34):
Okay, you want to lower thestress?
Get some rest.
Plan your next vacation, even ifyou say you can't do it.
I met people recently thathaven't had vacations in like
seven years.
I'm like why would you do that?
Because we are well.
I'm going to get into it.
So I'm going to say I know whywe do it.

(15:54):
I've done things like that.
I know why we do it.
Spend more quality time withyour loved ones.
Spend more quality time withyou.
Take yourself on a personaldate.
Have you ever done that.
Take yourself on a personaldate, spend more quality time
with you, nurture your body moreand feel into your heart, heal

(16:17):
your heart, and that's a lotabout what I'm committed to, I'm
very committed to.
It is time, y''all, to heal yourheart.
It is time to move back intothose spaces that we have left,
whether at childhood, whether atadolescent, whatever age that
we had some traumatic situationand we left that part of our

(16:39):
heart.
It is time to move back in, tore-inhabit, to go deep, to do
your soul's journey's work andclean out your heart.
Remember how I always say theheart is the root in the bulb of
your mind.
It's the root in the bulb ofyour thoughts, and your thoughts
will create the illusion in theworld that you see.

(17:02):
So what are your thoughts rightnow see?
So what are your thoughts rightnow?
Get back to what you love.
Okay, the idea is to bring morejoy and peace to the world.
It's to focus on what you cancontrol in your immediate
environment right now.
Let the government do theirthing and you focus on your part

(17:26):
right here, in this moment, this immediate moment, wherever
you are.
How can you make a differenceand be of service to your
immediate moment, right now.
Is it holding a door open forsomebody?
Is it giving a compliment?
Is it slowing down because younotice, maybe, you're speeding?

(17:47):
Where are you going?
Where are you getting to Relax?
Right, relax.
It is not your job to worryabout all those things out there
.
It's not your job to worryabout what's happening in other
countries, unless, of course, you've got family members living

(18:10):
there and you're trying tonavigate a crisis.
Can you be aware of what mightbe happening?
Sure, but is it your job tomanage and deal with that?
In your mind?
It is not, and deal with thatin your mind?
It is not.

(18:35):
So I say all this because I wantto ask does it really make a
difference to complain about anyof it?
Does it make a difference tocomplain about Trump?
Do you feel better?
Does it make a difference tocomplain about any of it?
Does it make a difference tocomplain about Trump?
Do you feel better?
Does it make a difference tocomplain about any president?
Do you feel better?
Check in with your energy.

(18:56):
When you do that, I promise youyou're not going to feel
exhilarated.
You're going to feel some formof stress, and whatever
exhilaration you think you'refeeling is probably anger, which
again is stress on the body, hatred.
You know it really, and I sayhis name.

(19:21):
I voted for him, so I'm notangry.
Lots of people are angry.
I voted for him and hey, theremight be people listening to
this show and they'll be like,oh my God, you voted for him.
I'm never listening to thisshow again.
Cool, whatever, not my problem, but I share this because that's
what I see in the world.
Now I also have to practice atlooking for what I rather see in

(19:45):
the world, which is love.
But I noticed over the lastseveral weeks, this is what kept
coming up and I was like youknow, this is really annoying
and I want to talk about it.
Okay, because none of thatstuff makes a difference.
The joke is on us as humanity.
When we are caught in the cycleof hate, stress, rage and chaos

(20:09):
, the joke's on us.
And again, I'm not sayingignore what's going on, I'm just
saying you don't need to becomewhat's going on, and I've
talked about this in a number ofepisodes.
We become what we feedourselves, what we put in our

(20:32):
mouth, what we put in our eyeand our view, what we put you
know through hearing, we'relistening to music.
We become that, and what isneeded more in this day, right
now, is love, peace and joy.
I know I need more of that andI practice implementing that on
a daily basis.

(20:53):
You need more of that.
Take your shoes off, stepoutside, put your feet in the
grass or on the concrete even onthe wood deck on the patio
concrete, even on the wood deckon the patio.

(21:13):
Breathe in the air and allowyourself to feel peace and joy.
Place your hand over your heartand breathe in.
You, and only you, have controlover that choice and option.
You, and only you, have controlover that choice.
It is a choice for you tochoose love, peace and joy, and

(21:39):
when you're not choosing that, that's on you.
So what are you going to doabout it?
How will you choose to takeyour power back?
I know this sounds like a faroff idea and many people might
say you know, Tara, this isreally dumb, it's not possible,
or maybe they might even thinkit's not responsible.

(22:01):
Whatever, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, whatever people have
opinions about, I reallybelieve this is possible and I
really believe that this is theanswer to a lot of what we are
coping with every day theoverwhelm of the chaos, what we
see as chaos, destruction,dismantling.

(22:22):
That's how we see it and again,it's a choice.
So start to look for where thelove is present in your world.
Start radiating that frequency.
That's what I say.
My part is, this is my part.
My part is to spread love andjoy and peace in the world.
Spending time worrying andcomplaining about all that stuff

(22:45):
is only going to have me missthe ladybug that needs to be
rescued from my pool.
Seriously, those are thingsthat I see when I step outside
and take a break.
I see a little ladybug tryingto get out of the pool and I
rescue it.

(23:05):
If I'm plugged into thosethings, I miss those things.
I might even miss, you know, the baby bunnies that were born
under our deck, but I didn't.
I got to see those.
I actually got to pick a few up.
You know, those are momentsthat I look for.

(23:27):
I'm looking for things of thatnature.
When I stay unplugged from thatnegativity, I get to plug into
what's right around me right now.
What's right around me rightnow?
I get to see that my childtaught himself how to sell, buy

(23:48):
or sell and make money withthings that he has on eBay, and
that was amazing to me.
You know, those are the littlethings.
It's those little things inlife that you might miss.
You might miss that the birdsare migrating right now and
there's certain types of birdsflying through your backyard.
You might miss that.
That's the beauty, that's thelove, and I encourage you to

(24:11):
look for where love is presentin your life.
See it all around you.
Unplug from the machine so whenyou stay plugged in to the
outer noise, like I said, youwill miss that beauty.
You'll miss the grace and theglory that is happening right in

(24:35):
front of your eyes.
Don't allow the machine to makeyou.
It's time for you to make thatmachine.
You create it.
So I love all of you.
I look forward to seeing you onthe next episode.

(24:57):
I'm going to have some moreinterviews with people coming up
here shortly and actually someprayers, some beautiful prayers
that I was in a.
I was in a.
I've been in a what do you callit?
Certification class the lastweek and my mentor, who's
absolutely amazing, tracy LClark.
I just love her.

(25:17):
She's written a couple books, but she has some prayer books
that are really awesome andsomebody had brought them to our
attention today and I was like,oh my God, that's right.
So I'm gonna share some ofthose prayers on the podcast
because they're just beautiful, they're really beautiful.
But I do wanna leave all of youwith this today, and it really

(25:38):
is time to unplug.
Don't let the machine make you.
You make the machine, you makethe matrix, you make the
illusion and make it throughlove.
Don't be controlled, you know, stop allowing that energy to

(26:05):
determine and dictate yourwell-being, because that's what
it's doing to all of us, andit's time for us to take our
power back and unplug.
Spend more time with you, spendmore time with your loved ones,
and be grateful and be ingratitude for all that you have
all around you.
So I love you and I thank you.

(26:29):
This was my little racket forthis week, but I really felt
passionate about getting it outthere and just saying, hey,
y'all, let's do this Like, let'sdo this together, because
that's what it's all about.
It's about bringing love andjoy and peace back into your
mind, body and spirit, whichthen empowers you, it lifts you,
it enlightens you, it bringsyou more health and more

(26:51):
vitality to your body, and youdeserve that, because you are a
child of God.
You are the most amazing, miraculous difference maker on
this planet, and we can't do itwithout you.
So that's what I wanna leaveeverybody with this week.
Thank you so much.
I love you, have an amazingweek.

(27:14):
I look forward to seeing youguys all in the next episode.

You know, do that with me orfor me.
I love that, and it's hard forme to ask for those things
because I have it like I don'tneed to ask for that because I
don't want to ask for that, because people don't want to do
that, but no, I'm asking, I'masking for that.

(27:55):
