(00:23):
We'll look at the power ofprayer, some benefits and how it

It helps the show and it reallyjust warms my heart and,
honestly, I'm just grateful.
I'm grateful for you know, those of you that I've shared
(01:49):
already.
Thank you, and just thecontinued feedback helps, and it
it just helps me to know.
You know, am I alone out there?
But I know I'm not alone outthere, so I know people are
listening.
So thank you.
And if you haven't noticed,it's hard for me to ask for that
, can you tell?
It's like I don't even knowwhat to say.
I'm like, oh my God, can youplease send me a rating or
(02:10):
review, please?
Anything helps.
So, yeah, I'm asking, I'masking, I'm asking.
So thank you, but let's gettalking about prayer.
So this came up.
I was recently doing acertification class with my
mentor.
I review this class once a year.
It's for the body regenerationmethod, energy work that I do,
(02:33):
and it's phenomenal.
It's four days, five days, fivedays.
It's five days long, and it'sjust an amazing group.
But one of the students in theclass had brought up prayers and
she had brought up the prayerbooks that our mentor had
written, which are beautiful, and in that moment I was like,
oh my gosh, I need to share someof these prayers on the podcast
(02:56):
because they're so beautiful.
And I feel that at this time inour world, this time in life,
this time where we are allexperiencing a lot of different
emotions, we're watching a lotof different things unfold and
sometimes it can feel unsettlingor frustrating or scary,
(03:19):
whatever it is, you know, and Ifeel that prayer is one of those
things that, universally, youcan always come back to, because
the beauty of prayer is I praydaily, I love praying and, as I
mentioned, it's universal.
There's no way to do it,there's no right way, it can be
(03:40):
done anywhere, with anyone, about anything you desire.
There are no rules with prayerand you simply pray, you ask,
and it is always given.
God always responds, and that'sthe beauty of prayer.
But I am going to add a littleside note there.
It may not always look the wayyou desire or come at the time
(04:04):
that you wish.
However, your prayers arealways answered.
They really are, and if youreally sat down and looked back
over the lifetimes of you knowwhen you were praying or asking
for something, it eventuallycame.
It really did.
So we do get everything weasked for Just doesn't always
(04:27):
look the way you wanted it toand it doesn't always come in
the timeframe.
But I want to actually pull upthe definition of prayer.
I went online Webster'sDictionary and a couple other
spots to get the definition ofprayer.
It's a noun, as you may know.
As you may know, it's a solemnrequest for help or expression
of thanks addressed to God, oran object of worship or an
(04:52):
address how about that?
Such as petition to God or aGod in word or thought, an
earnest request or wish.
So those are really thedefinitions of prayer and I
really liked the last onebecause it's an earnest request
or wish.
(05:13):
And what I hear when I hearearnest request or wish, because
when I experienced prayer it'sit's honestly, you can pray
anywhere.
Okay, you can be driving inyour car and you can say a
prayer in that moment.
You can sit at your bed, or youcan sit under a tree, or you
(05:34):
can sit in your favorite chair, sit in your favorite spot.
You can be sitting in thedoctor's office and praying.
Okay, it doesn't matter whereyou are anywhere, you can just
either close your eyes if youwant to you don't necessarily
have to.
You could put your focus on aplant, if you choose.
Whatever room you're sitting, and you can just begin to pray
(05:58):
in your mind.
You can pray out loud, and it'sthis beautiful, earnest request
or wish.
So I want to get into some ofthe benefits and, by the way,
this episode is not going to bereally long.
It was really about me wantingto share some of these prayers
and it's funny because rightbefore I sat down to start doing
(06:18):
the episode, I opened up theprayer book and well, first I
closed it and then I closed myeyes and I asked God what are
some of the most importantprayers that I could share today
?
And it's really cool, the onesthat popped up.
So I'm going to do two of thethree that popped up, because I
(06:38):
feel that they're all great, butI think two is good.
I really was just going to doone, but two is good.
But let's first explorebenefits of prayer.
With prayer, it really helps youdevelop a relationship to God
as well as yourself.
Now, I believe in God.
There might be somebody on thisshow that doesn't believe in
(07:00):
God.
Okay, that's listening to theshow that doesn't believe in God
.
And that doesn't mean you can'tpray.
You can still pray Becauseprayer it's about developing
that deep sense of connectionwith self, to be in unification
or oneness with yoursurroundings in that moment and
allowing your frequency toreally increase.
(07:21):
Prayers can provide answers.
You know, how many people doyou maybe know or you've heard
about meditation?
They'll meditate to findanswers.
You can find answers in prayerbecause prayer is a form of
meditation as well.
Prayer can provide you moredirection and clarity in your
life, especially when it beginsto give you those answers.
(07:41):
But it also allows you to alignwith God and God's loving
nature.
It really allows you to aligninto that frequency, into that
space of love.
Some other benefits is it canstrengthen you.
It can help you buildconfidence and courage, and
(08:03):
prayer allows you to experienceand feel more connected to your
own personal truth and to God,and I think that's what it
really does with me, is.
It's when I'm, when I allowmyself to just really get deep
into that space of prayer, Itruly feel connected into my
truth.
It's like I can feel andexperience every cell in my body
(08:24):
because it is a collective.
It is a collective in there.
Another very cool benefit ofprayer and this also falls in
line with meditation is prayerhas been known and can lower
blood pressure and stress.
There are actual scientificstudies out there that show that
(08:46):
if you are praying on acontinual basis and practicing
that, you can lower your stressand you can lower your blood
pressure.
So those are just a few of thebenefits that can be brought
forward with prayer.
And, as I mentioned earlier, youknow we are.
(09:07):
Some people really feel we'rein a time of despair.
I don't feel that way aboutthis time.
I really don't.
I feel that we are simplyevolving.
We are moving through a verythick collective consciousness
that's ripping away fromsomething that has been very
negative into something that isgoing to be very positive.
(09:32):
And I'll say this again and I'vesaid it on episodes previously
it's like when you squeeze a zitright Remember those of us when
we were in our teenage yearsand we had acne right and it
starts to fester and it startsto grow and typically what a
(09:52):
teen kid would do is I'm goingto pop that sucker.
And when you pop it, all thisshit comes out right.
Sometimes it hits the mirror.
Remember those days?
I know TMI, it's gross, butlike for real, and when that
happened the very first time youever experienced that, it
(10:12):
probably grossed you out and youwere like ew, that just came
out of my face.
I like to see the world isthat's where we're at.
And then what would happen oncethat all came out?
It would heal, right.
You put a little benzoylperoxide or whatever.
That shit was called Oxytocin.
(10:32):
I don't even know, I'm datingmyself, do.
They seem to still make thatstuff so funny Like?
I remember having a bottle ofthat all the time in the
medicine cabinet, you know, because you got to oxy your
little zits because, god forbid, you go to the dance and you got
a big zit on your face, right.
So that's really how I see thistime is that we're just popping
(10:53):
this giant, massive zit andnobody knows where it's going to
spray.
It's just kind of like all overthe place.
But what we do know is thatonce you pop it, then the
healing begins right.
But while we're in that time andwhile we're in that process, we
can really go inward and pray, and that's something I do
(11:14):
frequently, and I wanted toshare some of these beautiful
prayers with you today, andagain, I wanna wish all of the
mothers out there, whetheryou're mothers to children or
mothers to pets, happy Mother'sDay.
Mothers to fish birds?
I don't know.
Mothers to friends' childrens, mothers to your kids at school?
(11:35):
You know mothers like you knowit doesn't necessarily mean you
had a child, it's just thatmothering, nurturing energy,
it's like happy Mother's Day.
Okay, I wanted to share some ofthese prayers today, and so the
book that I'm sharing theseprayers from this is book two of
(11:56):
three books that my mentor, reverend Tracy L Clark, has
written, but she has two prayerbooks and then an autobiography.
The two prayer books they'recalled 31 Days of Prayer.
That's the first book.
This book is called 31 Days ofPrayer and Affirmations.
All of them can be found onAmazon.
(12:17):
Happy to throw a link downbelow.
No, I do not make any proceedsfrom sharing this, but happy to
direct you to where you can findit, because it's awesome and it
would make a difference.
And I tell you.
I carry these prayer booksaround with me and even when I
travel, because you just neverknow and you just want to open
it up, and a lot of times I'lljust open up to a random page
(12:39):
and that will be the one thatspeaks to me the most.
And that's what I did today.
So I did that.
So I did that and, funny enough, the two prayers that came up
prayer for freedom and prayer tobelieve.
So we're going to start with aprayer for freedom.
It's on page 39 of 31 days ofprayer and affirmations, because
(13:02):
there is an affirmation at theend.
An affirmation at the end Iforgive myself for all times and
all experiences in my lifewhere I have harmed another
person.
I release and let go of allenergies of suppression, known
and unknown.
I command forth freedom onevery level and in every layer.
(13:27):
I speak freedom into my lifenow.
I speak freedom into the worldnow.
Freedom to choose, freedom tobe a sovereign being, freedom to
be a child of God.
I command every cell and everyfiber of my being that is now
(13:48):
locked up in bondage to be freed.
I order the energies ofoppression to be discharged back
to God to receive divinejustice.
Now I command freedom to fillmy being at the cellular level,
from the top of my head to thesoles of my feet.
I receive freedom.
(14:12):
I believe in freedom.
I am a free human and a childof God.
As I step into freedom now, Ising my praises to you, god, and
so it is.
Thank you God, thank you God,thank you God, thank you God,
thank you God.
Affirmation I am for me, notagainst me.
(14:34):
I live in freedom and victory.
That's the first prayer.
I love that prayer.
Freedom is something that I havereally had to work to move past
these constraints of the past, whether they were constraints of
you know my own self-worth,whether it was constraints
(14:58):
financially you know financial, like you know mental.
What am I trying to think?
Thought forms and mentalblueprints that I had signed up
for at some point in my life.
It's freeing myself from all ofthat clutter and conversation
in my brain that is not in myhighest good and that is what I
love about this.
(15:18):
And what I love about thisprayer is that first line is I
forgive myself for all times andall experiences in my life
where I have harmed anotherperson, and that's including
myself.
And what I hear when I readthat is, any thought like
negative thought that I've hadtowards somebody else or a
negative thought that I've hadtowards myself.
(15:39):
I'm harming myself and I'mharming that person, and why.
And so freeing ourselves fromthat, forgiving ourselves and
having the right to freeourselves in that moment and to
release and let go of allenergies of suppression, known
and unknown, I command forthfreedom on every level and in
(16:02):
every layer.
I speak freedom into my life.
Now I just love that.
That's like the first, thefirst few lines of that.
So that's a beautiful prayer, all right, so I'm going to
follow up and finish up withthis second one.
I'm not going to go into thethird one.
This if you want these books, please check them out.
They're amazing.
But this one is prayer tobelieve why I like I mean,
(16:24):
obviously people would love tofeel freedom in this moment.
Right, with all the stuff we'regoing through is like really
feeling freedom, really feelingexpressed, not feeling stifled
by anything, whether it's theheadlines of the news that
you're watching.
I recently had a friend reachout to me and say I'm so sorry.
I went MIA.
I came across a headline in thenews and it just shut me down.
(16:46):
I mean, imagine the power ofthat.
Imagine the power of that.
If you imagine the power of asingle headline that can shut
you down, then where's the powerin prayer?
It's equal, if not more, andwhen you begin to pray you
really raise that frequency.
So that's why I wanted to sharethese today.
Okay, second and last prayertoday, y'all, and then I'm going
(17:08):
to send you on your beautiful, merry, happy Mother's Day day
Prayer to believe.
I believe to receive new levelsof love.
I believe to receive new levelsof connection with the God of
my understanding.
I believe to receive new levelsof financial overflow and
(17:30):
wealth, thank you.
And to receive love for myselfon a new level and in a new
(17:56):
layer of my being.
I believe to receive unlimitedpossibilities.
I believe to receive untoldmiracles.
I believe to receive theunderstanding that I am
limitless.
I believe to receive all thatspirit has for me.
I am believing to receiveguidance in my dreams and my
(18:21):
visions, not in the way that Iperceive with my natural eyes,
but in the way the divine seesin the supernatural realm.
I believe to receivesupernatural gifts for the
planet.
I believe to receive peace onthe planet.
I believe to receive joy, loveand laughter for the planet.
(18:44):
I am believing to receiveharmony, happiness and
connection from Mother Earth andall of humanity now, and I am
believing to receive faith.
I shall have no more doubt.
I refuse to go without.
I choose to believe only toreceive on every level and in
(19:06):
every layer of my life.
Now, because this is how it ismeant to be Affirmation, I tap
into my limitless potential.
I am worthy of receivingmiracles and blessings.
Those are powerful prayer tobelieve.
So, yeah, like I love this onebecause it's you know.
(19:30):
Yeah, like tapping into thatsupernatural realm, you know
having unlimitless or havinglimitless, you know
possibilities and limitlessmiracles, like untold miracles.
Who doesn't want that in theirlife?
And there's this beauty, youknow, god does respond.
(19:53):
The universe responds, askingyou shall receive it really is
true, y'all.
The universe responds, askingyou shall receive it.
Really, it really is true,y'all, it really is true.
And yeah, it doesn't often comein your timeframe because it's
in God's speed, right, and oftenit doesn't look the way you
think it's going to look andsometimes you miss it.
You miss it because it walkedright by you, because you were
(20:14):
so locked into the way it neededto be.
But I want to remind you youalways, always, always, get what
you ask for.
So be mindful, be powerful inthis time, be courageous in this
time.
Ask for what you want, sit back, pray, be with yourself.
You know, as I talk in all thepast episodes about that
(20:37):
illusion and creating theillusion that you desire, it's
inside of prayer and affirmationwork that you can really
increase that frequency.
And have you ever noticed whenyou sat down to do prayer or sat
down to do affirmations and youjust allow your body to relax
into the frequency of the wordsand the power of the words?
And if you tune into your body, you'll actually feel as if
(21:00):
you're floating or justincreased energy, right, you'll
feel connected and one in thatmoment.
So today's episode was really mewanting to share some of those
prayers.
I feel they're powerful.
I wanted to remind all of youthat, yes, it is a very trying
(21:22):
time in life right now, absolutely, and it may not be
trying for you in yourindividual life, but when we
look at it from a globalperspective, we are all very
much being tried with ourpatience, our love, our stress,
all of it.
And this is the time tocontinue to turn inward and to
focus that love and attention onyourself.
(21:42):
I keep saying that For those ofyou I have had some listeners
reach out to me for healingsessions I want to say thank you
.
For those of you who are lookingfor some heart healing, please
do reach out.
Happy to work with you, wouldlove to work with you.

energetic blocks, emotionalblocks, any stories that are
caught up in the system and notallowing you to really live 100%
, fully in your heart.
It's really about you knowthose parts of our heart that
we've left.
You know whatever the traumawas that caused us to leave.
It's about moving back in.
(22:26):
It's about finding ownershipinside that space again and
living wholly and fully insideyour heart, such that you can
live freely out into the world.
So, for those of you who areinterested, definitely reach out
