Stokes, inventor of Purse Guardian - The Secure Shopping Bag. Janice created Purse Guardian - The Secure Shopping Bag after watching a local news broadcast featuring security camera footage from a grocery store of woman whose purse was stolen. She had her purse in the top part of the shopping cart and as back was turned getting something off the shelf, someone came up behind her and stole her purse right out of the shopping cart. Shocked by how easy it was for the thief to steal this woman's purse, Janice began working on an invention that would prevent this kind of theft from happening - Purse Guardian, Secure Shopping Bag. Janice lives in Ocala, Florida and I created this invention from watching a local news broadcast segment with Grocery store camera footage, of a woman while shopping in the grocery store, and they had their purse in the top part of the shopping cart and as their back was turned getting something off the shelf, someone would come up behind them and steal their purse right out of the shopping cart. It was shocking that this kind of thing happens and I said to my husband, something should be done about this. And immediately I got the idea to create an invention to help stop this kind of theft. This is how my Purse Guardian, Secure Shopping Bag came about.
