In today's episode, Lisa Phillips and co-founder Crystal Laureen delve deep into the essence of American identity, the historical shifts in governance, and how today's citizens can reclaim their foundational rights.

The conversation highlights a critical shift from a government that once prioritized the people’s rights to a corporate entity focused on control and profit. This transformation was marked notably during post-Civil War adjustments and the significant changes in 1871 when the United States assumed a corporate identity.

(00:00):
Welcome. This is your invitation to freedom.
The podcast that challenges the traditional left right paradigm
and explores a narrative centered on unity and reclaiming
our rights. Each episode will explore topics from
how we got where we are to what a peaceful journey looks like to get
back to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Hi there,

(00:22):
miss Crystal. Hi there, miss Lisa.
I know. Right? We're back. And look at what I brought today.
Oh. Oh. I was getting My Christmas present, my
mug, which, you know, I wonder, did you
realize I would hold it in my right hand and that the logo would come

(00:42):
up the right way? I was hoping that that would be the case.
I'm not sure how everybody was holding their my 5 was
thinking that that could be the case. And then if I hold it with my
left hand, you can read as a little bit better. Yep.
Yeah. I figured whatever hand you used, anybody
used It would work. Yeah. It would work. So work.

(01:06):
So here we are, invitation to freedom. We're we did
our reboot. Been at this for a while, not too
long. Right. But we have done some
different focuses, and now we're
shifting the lens, and we're gonna be taking more of an
educational, yeah, journey on some topics

(01:28):
in little hits, 20 to 30 minute hits. Yep.
And people know us, but I'm Lisa. And you
are Crystal, and we're the cohost of,
invitation to freedom, which is a a beautiful
learning community. Yeah. Where we have we're
growing. We're in a growth spurt. We have almost

(01:50):
close to 500 members. And really what we're doing in here
is talking about reigniting the American spirit,
life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, one
episode at a time. One episode at a time. Right.
And really getting back down to those foundational principles

(02:11):
of what it really is means to to be an American and
American living. Right? Which is really important and key
for a lot of us who are journeying down this
path towards freedom. So I'm
excited. I'm excited. And so many people are on you know, I I
call it the superhighway to Freedom. Whether you get on

(02:32):
one in on ramp or the next one, our destination's
the same. We might be getting there differently. And there can be a
lot of discourse and there can be a lot of cognizant
dissonance and confusion that is
intentional. Yeah. Right? So today, what is
our focus? What does that mean to be an American? Do we even know?

(02:55):
Like, the founding fathers had an idea of
how life should look like to be an American,
to be separate and away from the ruling monarchy
of a king. And what does that really mean to us today?
Like, we're proud Americans, but most of us don't even
have a Mhmm. An inkling of what it means to be an

(03:17):
American other than I'm patriotic, you know,
hear me roar, you know, standing up for our military,
singing the the star spangled banner on the
4th July. Right? Praying for our nation. All of
those things are parts of being an American, but what
does it really mean to be an American? And I'm not

(03:40):
sure that that's ever been thought out. And
I don't even know if I have the answer or you have the answer for
that. Is it a spirit? Well, when you asked
me right before we came on, the one of the things that came to my
mind is totally completely
politically incorrect is American exceptionalism.

(04:02):
I have fantastic pride
when I traveled and studied abroad Mhmm. That
I was representing being an
American. I I take these
tenants that our declaration of independence,
that last sentence, we pledge our lives,

(04:25):
our fortunes, and our sacred honor. Yeah. I
take that personally to carry
that and have a very young age. And I know we've shared that through the
years we've been together. The patriotism for
you runs very deep and you take that very seriously.
And the the American exceptionalism is

(04:48):
not the way it has been skewed
where we're pompous asses. To me, the
American exceptionalism is that our foundation
was on this notion that
the constitution is to protect the
people. It's it's that the people are keeping

(05:11):
the services and the government that are serving the people
in line. That's exceptional.
Yeah. It's different. It was the first place on earth
where that experiment was laid.
Right? Well, and we and we hear that term we the people,
and yet we don't even really know who we the people are.

(05:34):
When you ask somebody who are the We The People, sometimes you get crickets
because they don't they don't understand or they don't comprehend
who We The People are and where our place is,
where our place is designed to be, which is
above government. It's supposed to be small government
of We The People instead of its its big government

(05:58):
of all the persons that are under the government.
And I use those words very specifically because
they have very different, different meanings. You know,
we, the people are the sovereign men and women of the
land where a person is part of the corporate
construct, right, of the current

(06:21):
government we see running and operating today.
I'm sure many of our listeners don't even know that the
United States is a incorporated
body, that it went from being a corporation. When
it went bankrupt, it became the United States Inc. And
that it is And when was that? Let's see. Whenever Trump

(06:43):
bankrupted the government, which is 2016 Well, that's
currently. But before that, the organic 18/71.
18/71. Yeah. So this
whole corporate structure that we've been
under has been taking place our whole lives and

(07:03):
our grandparents. And it and it what happened
was, you know, to take it back a little bit historically,
the the powers that be banks of London,
the government of London of of England wanted to take
control of the nation back. And the it's gonna
be a little controversial, but the civil war

(07:26):
was not really about slavery. Not in the context of
what we've learned the civil war was about, but it
was more about dividing the people, putting the the the people
at odds with each other. God, that sounds so familiar, Crystal.
Is history repeating itself? It's repeating itself. Right? There's nothing new

(07:46):
under the sun, but destroying the current
structure that was there so that the banks of London and
the the government system of England could come back
in and and swoop in and save the
day, if you will, for the American people.
And you will find that that act took place right after

(08:09):
the end of the civil war. You know, you get the
13th, the 14th, the 15th, the 16th amendment put into
place. And then you see this new corporate body come
into place. And there's a lot of history that that is not
taught in school about how the southern states
were willing to come back into the union, but were not given their

(08:32):
voice back. They were seen still as rebellious
and not wanting to give them the
opportunity to represent their people.
And so that left room for them to come
in and swoop in with a new system known as the
corporation. Right? And start to

(08:55):
if you look at the constitution and then you look at the
constitution after 18/71, you start to see things
have shifted a little bit in how things are written. Many
people don't know that there was an original 13th amendment that has nothing to do
with the current 13th 13th amendment that we have.
But we've lost track of who we, the people are.

(09:18):
We don't know. We're just so busy.
I I'm reminded of the Gladiator movie where,
you know, Russell Crowe, you know, stands in front of the the
the people in the stadium and say, are you not entertained?
We literally are entertained all the time. Those people,
they would come to these big, you know, battles in

(09:41):
the in the arena so that they could be entertained, so
that took them away from their lives so that they didn't have to think about
what was going on and how things were being taken care of. History repeating
itself, Cell phones, big screen
TVs, you know, Apple Watches and
iPads, you know, and podcasts.

(10:03):
Yes. Are you not entertained? Right?
People are so worried about a fictional
character that they see on TV and what's
gonna happen in that next episode, then
what am I gonna do to make sure that there's food on my table or
make sure that my government isn't running away with

(10:26):
the powers that we allow them to have. And it's
fascinating to think and here comes the conspiracy theorist. Right?
It's fascinating to think that this was a plan.
But you know what? It was just a recipe they cooked up
that is as old as time. Yeah. Worked for them
before, but guess what? I don't think it's working. I

(10:48):
think people are starting We The People that that
idea, I think, because so many people
are wondering what is going on. And
there's this deep sense that something is
wrong. What is going on?
They're starting to ask the question and

(11:11):
talk about it. And as long as we can not put it in
the framework of politics and bait each other, and
we come from a place of what can we agree on and unify this.
That's what has drawn us to to put these platforms
together, to bring people together, to ask those tough
questions. How do we get here? Who are we?

(11:35):
And how do we do this in peace with
honor and a way that brings that
pride in that American exceptionalism that leads?
Yeah. And I'm so grateful to your depth of knowledge
on these topics in your background teaching. When I ask
these questions, you know, what does it mean to be an American and who

(11:57):
are we the people? And we came together and created
these platforms and the 17/76 Lisa
Convention because we saw the need
to join We The People. Yeah.
We're not supposed to be doing this alone.
Yeah. We need each other. I need you. I need our community. I

(12:19):
don't have the confidence to stand as an
American and say these things that have been
turned into negatives, right? Oh, you can't say American
exceptionalism. You know, that's not part of the equity and inclusion. You
know? You're a white woman. You you don't you don't get to be
exceptional. It's like, yes, I do. Whether it's white,

(12:42):
black, brown, orange. Right. Does it matter?
You're making it matter, whoever's bringing that up. Right?
That's not even in my mind. Right. Like, don't
redefine my language and taking our language back. So to
me, when you say, have you thought about it? How do we do this? Those
first 10 amendments, it's kinda like the, in

(13:05):
the Bible, the 10 commandments. It's really easy,
right to speech and assemble. What could be more
sacred and more necessary?
And why is that what they went after? Right?
6 feet apart. Keep us, you know, keep us
thinking that we're gonna kill ground. The babies, the kids are gonna kill

(13:28):
grandma. Right? Sensoring the things that we say on a on
a public forum. Well and, you know, there's
a lot of talk about how the government is so evil and the government is
gonna Marie that. I'm kinda starting to think, I don't even wanna talk about it
in terms of government because there is no government. It's public
private corporation overreach.

(13:49):
Right? It's a corporate structure. Right?
We are not living under the laws of the constitution
or the the our legislative. There isn't
there is no governance under the constitution. Right. It's
laughable to go into an admiralty court to even bring that up.
So they'll say that your constitution

(14:11):
doesn't apply here. Your constitution.
Okay. So that answers one question. We, the people, are of
the Republic of the United States,
but not all caps United. Of America. There needs to be the
distinction United States of America. We are
America and we are Americans. And in order for

(14:34):
this, you're talking about fiction and this is a
fiction that we're living in. Like literally it's a
fiction Taylor of law. It is not, it is
not what it's intended to be on
any on any point. Right. It's it's what they call a de
facto system. Okay. Tell me about that. We've talked about de facto

(14:55):
and. Let's help our audience with that and give them
a definition. Oh, the de facto would be
the fiction side of the government,
which would be the corporation. And the would be
the real government side of
the of America for We The People.

(15:17):
So so is it safe to say that's the republic? That would be the
republic, which is being held in trust. The republic It's there,
and people talk about Trump. Trump got the republic back.
Yeah. It's here. Waiting for us. And if you go back and listen to every
single one of his speeches, he says, I'm giving
it back to the people. Right? But the people

(15:39):
have to have to understand who they are in a
corporate system versus who they are in
the republic system. And most
people don't know that there is a difference. And
this is why this platform is really important so
that we can educate people to what the differences

(16:01):
are. It's waiting for us, We The People. It's
waiting for us to stand up and for us to correct our status.
And it's about trust. If we if you can
comprehend trust and what trusts are
utilized for and know that the republic
is in trust, so you gotta learn who you are in

(16:23):
relationship to that trust. What role do you play?
Who are you? It comes down to knowing who you are. And if you
know who you are, then you know how to stand. Then it goes back
to what is an American? Who are we the people?
Because if you know what both of those are, you know where you stand

(16:43):
and then you can move forward to correct the
spot that you're standing in and move into a new spot.
It's exciting. Beautiful. And it doesn't sound like
conspiracy theorist mumbo jumbo to me. Sounds very real. Yeah. It
sounds very real. And it is very real, but they
have kept us entertained for so long

(17:05):
now that we believe the image
and the vision that they've sold us on what America
is. And we have to take responsibility for
for doing this. We have to take responsibility for being so busy running
our lives, taking care of our kids, trying to make enough money and
staying above the water, staying you know, not going under,

(17:28):
that we've taken our our eyes off the ball. We've let
these public indoctrination camps, otherwise known as
schools, supposedly educate our kids, and they they didn't do that.
Right? And then we're not show did you show up at your local
meetings? I, actually, I know you have, and you have done something about it. But
most people have not. Most people are not participating in their local

(17:49):
governance. And the only way this is gonna work is if we calm
down our lives and we create the space
to take part locally and with each
other. Because it's not there's no
one that's gonna show up and correct this. Trump is not gonna show up on
that white horse and solve this. No. We do. We we

(18:13):
we're the white hats. Yeah. That's us, folks. We're it.
This ain't happening without each and every one of us. And like we said
before, we created these platforms to welcome you in and
to have these conversations and to continue the education, and we're gonna be
flying a new course. Right? Do you wanna talk about that? Yeah. So it's
the foundational principles of American living, and it's really

(18:36):
focusing on several different things. One of the
the main focuses is gonna be standing in law. You're standing in
law. Who are you in law? What is law? Do we
even know where where law comes from and
where law it originated from? Most people
don't even comprehend what that is and how that law

(18:58):
differs from statutory law that we live under
today, under rules and codes and regulations and statutes
and all of the things that That are not laws.
Right. That commerce functions under. And if you think
about it, the an an example, a current living example that
everyone who is paying attention and tuned in today has lived

(19:20):
through is a mask mandate. Okay. Mask mandates were
not laws. But guess what? If you follow
a mandate or a statute,
it is acting as a law, and you have been
volunteered, and you have lost all authority. So when
we said to you before, who are you? Who are We The People? We the

(19:42):
people are the ones who say I'm not putting that mask on. Yeah. We the
people are the ones you don't go into an adversarial
situation. You ask, what authority do you have to ask
me to cover up my mouth? No.
The thing that requires me to breathe, my nose and my
mouth. And the children, if you can't do it for

(20:04):
yourself, then imagine what you're doing to the children.
You're telling them that they have to cover their
mouth, their most expressive part of their
face. Like, this is damning.
And and and they can't protect themselves. We have to do
that. Another another component of this new

(20:27):
subscription that we have, Kamiya, is a trust and it's a
trust class. I run a trust class every single week
and we are learning. I tell I I laugh about
this now, but when I first started, I knew nothing about
trust. Like, I knew rich people had them and
rich kids lived off of them. Right? That was not the extent of

(20:50):
my knowledge on trust. And now I'm actually operating
in trust. I have my own foreign grantor trust.
I operate in them. I'm able to purchase
things through my trust. My The value the
value of that, if I can elaborate Mhmm. Is
that we want to teach the

(21:13):
knowledge people need to function in the
private. Right? And that is the vehicle to
function in the private. If you're not functioning under
a trust in the private, you are in commerce and you
have protection. Right. And men and women are private. We
are already private because of the way that the system is

(21:35):
set up. K? Now we can learn to
function in that system either as ourselves
who are operating under trust, if you will,
okay, to operate the Social Security number,
the driver's license number, the medical card number.
We're the authorized representative for all of those. That's how we

(21:58):
function in commerce currently. But
because we didn't identify ourselves as the authorized
representative, and we said, I meant when they said,
hey, is Lisa Phillips here? And you said, I
yeah. That's me. Three times I contracted. You
contracted. Over and over and over. Volunteer. The volunteer. And

(22:20):
volunteers have privileges. Mhmm. Men and
women have rights. Yeah. Men and women have rights. And
so we have our rights, but, again, it comes down to
knowing who you are. If you don't know who you are, then you don't
know how to stand on your rights. And if you are playing
in commerce as the being, as it

(22:43):
being it, then you don't have any of those
rights. You are subject to the rules, the mandates, the
statutes, the codes, and all of that. Guess what? You know what that means?
That means they can come and take your kids. That means they can take And
they do. That means that they can foreclose on your home and take your home
from you. And they do. And they do. So when

(23:05):
you start realizing you don't own anything,
not even your kids, you're functioning under commerce,
and you're a corporate literal employee
as opposed to a separate living, breathing sentient man man or
woman, All of this makes a lot of sense. Mhmm.
But you can protect yourself. You can move your kids in this trust.

(23:29):
Why? That which one creates, one controls.
Kids come from your loins. Right? You can put your kids
in trust or your rez or your property, Your home. You can
put it in trust. And guess what? You can protect
them so that CPS can't come get them. That's right. Yeah. You can put them
in trust. So it's just taking the system,

(23:51):
learning what the system is about, and then how to be able to
function because we all have to function in the system. It's not, oh,
well, I'm just gonna go live as a hermit and I'm gonna grow my own
food and, you know, the you can do those things and it's
okay to do those things, but eventually you're gonna need to
contract in commerce for something. And when

(24:13):
that happens, how are you going to do it? And what are you gonna do
it through? And I and I and I appreciate that you're framing it that way
because we really need private alternate solutions, and
we really do have to have 1 foot in commerce and 1 foot
in this private space and not walk and fall
over ourselves. So I think that's a great place to

(24:36):
stop. I wanna take the class. When is it gonna start up?
So we're looking at the beginning of June. Okay. Great. Class is
gonna start. Giving ourselves a little bit of headway to get
everything organized and ready to go. But we're looking at June
5th being our start date for this new course. We're super excited
this new subscription. And it really is going to be an

(24:57):
opportunity for people to come in several times a week and
join our classes and gain their knowledge.
And, you know You're actually gonna be the one who's presenting.
It's all about trust Correct. So
everybody is gonna wanna be there for sure. And then we have Anthony
who has been with us for a very long time. And you guys you've been

(25:20):
teaching us for years, literally. And Anthony is gonna be
doing the law your standing in law course. And then we also have
additional meetings. Ask us anything that's gonna be happening twice a
week and a road mapping class or meeting, I
should say. So well, that was fun.
Yes. It always is. I enjoy our time together. Me too,

(25:42):
sweetheart. Thank you so much for this. Have a great day, and thank you
for tuning in. We'll see you tomorrow. Bye bye.
