In this soul-stirring episode, we explore the profound connection between spirit, soul, and body, diving into what it means to be created in the image and likeness of God. While some say the spirit gives life, and others say the soul breeds life, I believe that the soul compliments the spirit, nourishing and sustaining the body. There are several scriptures which speak of the soul and how the soul listens and responds because it is part of our spiritual being. For example, it is the prophet Elijah not Isaiah (as I misstated during the recording) who was running away from Jezebel and heard the Voice of God in the wind, as a whisper, of how to move forward in taking the next steps for his life. Elijah’s spirit was revived as his soul was refreshed and his body was renewed. Therefore, drawing from Psalm 19:7, which speaks of the Lord's flawless law that refreshes and restores the soul, we are provided space for our journey through the spiritual significance of soul-care.
In exploring the keys to soul-care, I am honored, blessed, and fortunate to have as my guest, Dominiece Clifton (https://movexstill.com/) (dom@movexstill.com). Dominiece is an entrepreneur and somatic practitioner, whose life 's work centers on prioritizing soul-care to achieve a more fulfilling, balanced life for herself and others. During this dynamic conversation, Dominiece vulnerably shares her own healing journey and emphasizes the importance of harmony in our lives. She has eloquently stated, “Wellness is the complete integration of body, mind, and spirit-the realization that everything we do, think, feel, and believe has an effect on our state of well-being.” Listen in as we delve into the transformative power of soul-care, allowing this conversation to settle deeply into your own soul, learning how to refresh your spirit and renew your body.
