After the collapse of the Ottoman Caliphate, the Muslim world was divided amongst colonial powers. Several political movements emerged, seeking to reconstitute the Islamic way of life and retain sovereignty from imperial powers. Today, the Muslim world continues to languish under neocolonial arrangements - leading us to reassess the trajectory of the 'Islamic Movement.'
Abu Ibrahim, a Muslim advocate and teacher at Al-Ezz Academy, joins us to discuss the work of Muslim revivalists, what we can learn from them, and the future of the Islamic Movement.
