At age 25, Josh Powell was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called synovial sarcoma in his lower abdomen. Josh fought cancer tooth and nail to the very end. Ultimately, he was called home and passed the fight on to others. Before he left, Josh reminded us to KEEP GOING, and NEVER DIE EASY (2 phrases that are now on wristbands to remind everyone). He showed us that through a cancer diagnosis, you can still find happiness. Before his passing he was able to marry the love of his life, Fabi Powell.
Fabi joins us today to talk about Josh and her story. She describes how she and Josh first met, the diagnosis Josh received, and the JPF (Josh Powell Foundation). JPF was created to honor Josh and give others hope in knowing they are not battling cancer alone.
