You already know the vibe Today.
I wanted us to talk about somethings.
(01:33):
I wanted us to get real.
Real.
I wanted us to make sure we aretapping in to the middle, the
mess, the pieces in our process.
That really helps us to stretch, strengthens us and helps us to
become the person we know we'redestined to be.
Hear me out have you ever feltlike you were doing all the
things right but the resultsstill did not match the prayers?
Like you're showing up, you'rehealing, you're obeying the
(01:56):
nudge, you're fully surrendered, you're walking by faith, not by
sight, and all the things, butstill it's quiet, things aren't
moving how you expected for themto move.
The clarity is not clarifying,it's not refining, it's not what
it needs to be, and themomentum feels slow.
(02:16):
That's the part that no oneprepares you for, like no one's
talking about that part of thejourney.
When you're aligned but itfeels like you're uncertain,
like you're in full surrendermode and being obedient but the
outcomes are not visible yet.
When you're not lost but you'realso not refined.
(02:39):
Ooh, child, wake up.
In this, sorry, oh my God,you're not waiting to become
anything.
You're already in divine timing.
You're living what you used topray for, even if it doesn't
look like it yet.
So take a deep breath.
This season is not punishment,it's positioning, it's preparing
(03:05):
for what was already yours.
It's preparation for what'salready yours, because the most
sacred parts of the processoften happens in the pause, the
stillness, the calm before thestorm.
And you are the storm, you arethe force to be reckoned with,
and you don't need proof to knowthat you're on purpose, to know
that you're chosen, to knowthat everything is divinely
happening the way it's supposedto happen.
(03:27):
The most misunderstood parts ofgrowth, oh, child, the
obedience without clarity.
If you've ever felt like you'redoing all the things right but
the results just don't match theprayers, child, you are not
alone.
This is a soul check-in.
Listen, we're going to talkabout the messy middle, the
space where the faith getstested.
(03:50):
Your fear gets louder and thepurpose still whispers and child
, we're going to keep going.
We're going to talk about howfear just shows up right before
your breakthrough, how obediencesometimes you don't see the
results.
It's still powerful.
Like we're gonna talk aboutthat.
If you're building, shifting orwondering if you're being left
behind, this is the podcastepisode for you.
(04:13):
Let me tell y'all aboutsomething that I really haven't
shared with anyone.
A few months ago, I sat in mycar, parked outside, tears
dropping down my face, notbecause something was like
overtly wrong, but becauseeverything I had been obedient
to it still looked unfinished.
It still looked uncertain, andI sat there asking God like did
(04:36):
I miss something?
Like did I do something wrong?
Like did I fail that test?
And it's really that I was inthe middle of a spiral.
Like, did I fail that test?
And it's really that I was inthe middle of a spiral?
I'd heard something deep in myspirit You're not lost, you are
being led.
This is the messy middle, wherewe stop performing, stop chasing
and start getting honest aboutwho we are, what we truly want
(04:58):
our lives to look like.
It's messy.
Beautiful, the unseen parts ofgrowth that no one posts about.
It's messy, beautiful, theunseen parts of growth that no
one posts about.
I'm talking obedience, fear andwhat happens when your vision
you're holding really doesn'tmatch the life that you're
living.
This is for the builder that'sready to quit, the believer
who's tired of waiting, the highachiever learning how to
surrender, because there's adifference.
(05:20):
Those societal checkbox goals, they hit different.
When you're on a spiritualjourney, that spiritual journey
hits different.
I'm truly in a season ofobedience.
It looks nothing like success,at least not the kind we're
taught to chase Like.
There's no applause, there's noviral moments, there's no
(05:40):
instant reward, just quietsediments of God saying keep
going, even if it doesn't makesense, even if it doesn't look
like you expect it to.
It's really just knowing you'rewalking in your purpose.
It just doesn't feel like howInstagram makes it look right.
While I knew I was walking inpurpose, it just didn't feel
(06:01):
like how Instagram made it look.
One minute I'm motivated.
I'm like, yes, girl, yes, yougot this.
Oh God, yes, so glad I did this.
And the next?
I'm battling with doubt, fear, maybe I made the wrong turn.
Should I go back and get a nineto five Like what should I do,
god?
That's the part no one preparesyou for.
(06:23):
And yet this unshakable knowingin my soul that I'm right,
where I need to be is there.
It's like the blind spots areteaching me to trust and not see
that breakdown, that we'resetting the foundation for the
breakthroughs.
It's all so messy.
I want to talk to myentrepreneurs for a second,
because I know what it's like tobuild something that the world
(06:46):
doesn't see yet, to launch, topost, to promote, to pitch and
still feel invisible.
But hear me out, obedienceisn't just spiritual.
It's really a strategy as well.
You're not just creatingcontent.
You're not creating just anavatar or a character.
It's not just about building abrand.
It's you becoming a vessel forwhat God is trying to birth
(07:07):
through you.
I was reading some stats theother day.
You know I love stats, I lovethe numbers.
Over 60% of women entrepreneurssay self-doubt is the number
one barrier.
Not the resources, not thefunding, not even the time, but
self-doubt fear the inner voicesaying that you're not enough.
And that's why today's episodeis really focused on really
(07:29):
breaking through those glassceilings that we're creating for
ourselves, the personal ones.
We're breaking them.
We're unlearning the need forperfection and we're relearning
how to move with faith, even inthe fog.
Oh, the fog, the fog will haveyou feeling like you're behind,
like it's not working, likeyou're not qualified, like it's
(07:51):
for someone else.
But when you get into thosemoments, I need you to pause, I
need you to breathe.
I need to let this truth reallysettle in God doesn't call the
qualified.
He qualifies to call.
Your waiting season isn't wasted.
Your obedience is doing morethan what you can see, like it's
really happening for you.
(08:11):
Things are happening and movingin accordance to his plan.
And the fear you're feelingsometimes that's just a sign
that you're close to somethingbigger.
And it's that fear wanting youto give up and turn around and
protect you from what it doesn'tknow.
And I need you to be yourbiggest advocate and go, even if
(08:31):
you're fearful.
Go even if you're scared.
Move forward in knowing thatwhat God is preparing for you on
the other side is yours, andit's not allowable to let fear
stop you from getting what Godhas prepared for you.
And here's something I had tosit with recently you don't reap
(08:52):
what you sow in the same season, most of times Like let's talk
about that.
Just because you're plantingwith intention, it doesn't mean
the results will show up rightaway, and we're so used to this
microwave season of thingshappening.
Growth has its own rhythm anddivine timing doesn't operate on
our deadlines.
We don't get to say when itshould happen and how it should
happen.
(09:12):
Sometimes we're just so focusedon what hasn't happened yet
that we miss the evidence thatwe're already transforming.
But if we're honest, the deeperreason why we get discouraged
isn't really the delay.
It's the shame that creeps in,the shame that that quiet inner
voice is saying something iswrong with me.
Unlike guilt which says I didsomething bad, shame attacks
(09:34):
your identity.
It makes you question yourworth, your time and your path.
And on the growth journey, shame doesn't always look loud.
Sometimes it's soft, the noiseis not loud.
Sometimes it shows up asover-explaining, hiding your
gifts, doubting your ownintuition.
And, let's be real, it gets eventrickier when people are
(09:55):
watching.
Even when boundaries are inplace, even when you're rooted
in what God told you, even whenyou know you're walking in your
purpose, there is still a worldthat's watching your process and
sometimes judging it.
People will question your pace, your pivot, your silence,
because they don't see thepromise God gave you.
(10:18):
But here's what I want you tohear you are not behind, you are
not broken, you are not late, you're deeply rooted, so the
harvest will come.
And when it does come, itdoesn't break you, it sustains
you.
And if fear is spiraling rightnow, you're not alone.
In fact, here I go with mystats again 70% of adults report
(10:41):
experiencing significant fearor anxiety about their future,
especially during periods ofchange and transition.
So, as fear spirals because itthrives on uncertainty, child,
it definitely does.
It's like, oh, she's a littlebit not sure, let me go ahead
and dive in, but faith groundsus in, just really letting us
(11:03):
know that, yes, it hasn'thappened yet, but it will happen
.
So keep sowing your seeds, keeptending to your soil, keep
showing up in silence andprivate and in prayer, because
even if it doesn't show up inthis season, trust and believe
it's still on its way.
So here's what I need you to doDon't give up just because it
feels unclear.
(11:23):
Don't shrink because it feelsslow.
Move anyway.
Make a pitch anyway.
Build a relationship anyway.
Build the business anyway.
Move anyway, move into thatrole anyway.
Trust anyway, do whatever it isyou need to do anyway.
This is your season to knowthat you are within divine
(11:44):
timing.
This is your divine detour andeven if you feel unseen, unheard
, misunderstood, you're stillbeing led by God.
Listen, if this resonates, Ineed you to leave me a comment.
I need you to reach out to meon socials, on Instagram, at
Workplace Therapy Experience, dmme, hey, girl.
Hey, I want to talk about it.
Like, what are you currentlybreaking through in your current
(12:06):
season?

the message, share the episode, share it with your go-getter
friends who need to be a part ofsomething bigger than them.

doing extraordinary things withfaith, intention and grit.

started.

You are the purpose you keepbecoming.
And just remember, he's notmaking a way, he's making you
the way.
Speaker 1 (13:02):

he's not making a way, he's
(13:23):
making you the way to keep upwith us.
