(01:33):
If you've listened to Jessica, like that was such a dope
episode.
Like the transparency was justlike really good.
Bella Rose, she's not only in,like, we're not doing Target
anymore, but she's in Walmartwith her home goods and that
purpose-driven products.
Jasmine talking about all thethings and creating becoming her
(01:55):
magazine, and just going frombeing a stay-at-home mom to a
mom that shows her children thatthey can do anything and a mom
that continues the legacy fromher grandmother, like such great
conversation, like so many greatepisodes, so many amazing
people.
If you haven't tuned in to thelast couple episodes, I need you
(02:18):
to go ahead and get caught up.
I need you to go ahead and catchus on YouTube because yes, we

the case may be, continue tolisten to us on audio.
But if you are that visualperson that likes to see, feel
(02:42):
the energy, catch the facialexpressions, the wittiness, the
spunkiness, all of it.
I need you to go follow us onYouTube at Redivining the Future
View because the conversationsare conversing, and I need you
to go ahead and catch it.
And I had to start there becauseI was like, wait, hold up.
(03:03):
You know, I used to say scrollon up to the top and follow us
to subscribe if you're notalready following.
And I still need you to do that.
Listen, pause for a moment, andif you're not currently
following the podcast, be sureto make sure that you're
subscribed, following all thethings so that you don't miss
out on these amazing episodes.
But outside of that, I justwanted to make sure that you
(03:24):
knew that we are also onYouTube.
All right, good.
So we're gonna go ahead and jumpinto the episode because I don't
do the fluff, but I definitelywant to make sure I started
there, and I feel like rightnow, like, stress is screaming,
critics are loud, internalcritics, right?
The weight sometimes feelsunbearable.
And you know, I think sometimeswe whisper to ourselves, I know
(03:45):
I have like I just can't do thisanymore because sometimes with
all the chaos, all the thingsgoing on in the world, it just
feels so heavy.
I know recently, I'm gonna bereal, right?
Real transparent.
One day I was like seeingsomething on socials from
someone else who does events, and she was like, She's done
(04:06):
with events, and I was like,Yeah, me too, God, I'm done with
events.
And like a couple days later,I'm like, girl, no, that's not
your calling.
You are not done with the youare not done with events, and so
with that, you know, maybe it'ssomething that you're
experiencing where you're like, you're done with the thing, just
because it's too much, it's tooheavy.
You're ready for your nextchapter, you're ready for your
(04:26):
next thing.
But the truth is, quittingguarantees that you'll never see
what was built for you.
The fact that you're listeningright now means that you're not
finished, you're closer than youthink.
And I just want you to know thisepisode is gonna be a word for
the wary, the one who's tired offighting, right?
And when you need to hear, like, don't stop now.
(04:50):
Like, I'm gonna give it to you.
Because I just want you torealize like all of this is
really preparing us, like thetests, the messy middle, the
mediocre, right?
I heard Michelle Obama recentlymentioned in something that I
saw on socials actually, howmost of life is not that
entertaining, it's not that fun,and you have to learn how to
(05:13):
deal with the parts.
It's just like continues to helpus build the muscle to get to
where we're trying to be.
And I just want you to rememberthat.
Like, so if you're serious aboutliving in your purpose, the
reality check that no one tellsyou is that you just gotta be
prepared.
You gotta be prepared for thehurdles, the obstacles, the
challenges, the pivots, constantpivots, the silent doubts, like
(05:41):
living in the eye of the storm, but not getting lost in it.
You gotta be prepared to stayfocused on the distracting noise
that you hear from other people, that you hear from just things
not working out the way you wantit to work out.
You gotta be prepared for thecritics, like you gotta be
prepared to move forward nomatter what.
(06:03):
And I say move forward no matterwhat, because sometimes you'll
be sacrificing, but you gotta beprepared to sacrifice for those
who depend on you.
Like you, you depend on you.
If you have children, theydepend on you.
If you're married, they dependon you.
But most importantly, you dependon you, and like being able to
feel like you are standing up tothings that you know you were
(06:24):
chosen for.
It's gonna come with sacrifice,it's gonna come with hardship,
it's gonna come with obstaclesbecause the reality is no matter
if you do what you're called todo or not, you're still going to
feel the thing.
I don't know.
I just feel like you need to beprepared, iron the parts that
make you want to crumble, thatmake you want to stump over,
(06:44):
like to really just put thatfire where it needs to be, and
just be prepared to never quit.
Like ever, never ever quitbecause refusing to quit is
really what's gonna separate youfrom those who choose to
collapse under pressure.
And it's not to judge, it's justto know that if you know that
(07:05):
you are called for something, wedon't fall, we don't give up
just because it's hard, becausewe didn't expect for it to be
easy.
I know for me, like sometimeswhen you're going through the
thing, right?
You're going through the roughpatches, the messy middle, the
mediocre mundane Mondays, andall the things, it can feel like
(07:27):
you're failing, like this is notworking out.
Did I take the wrong turn?
Where is the GPS?
Because oh my god, and there'sjust no blueprint, there's no
roadmap, there's no none of it.
You just have to trust yourinternal compass, the voice, the
Holy Spirit to guide you, andjust know like the pressure that
(07:48):
you're under isn't proof thatyou're feeling, it's proof that
you're being shaped.
We talked a lot on the episodewith Jessica about diamonds and
how they're only formed underpressure.
So if you haven't tuned intothat, go ahead and tune into
that after you tune into this, right?
But seeds are only there to growafter it's being buried, right?
(08:10):
So you're in the garden plantingthe seeds, putting the soil over
the seed, putting a little wateron it.
You can't put too much becauseyou don't want to ruin it,
right?
But it takes time and it's dirtyand it's messy, and then it
still takes time.
And the reality is that underthat fire, not outside of it,
(08:33):
right?
Because we're still undergroundas that seed, that's where the
progress is happening, not onthe outside of that.
We talked about that even on theepisode with Keandra.
I think that was episode 79, andher first episode was 66.
Like we really got into that, the souls of who we are, and all
of the work that goes into likethe planting of the seed.
(08:56):
If you're in the thick of it, Ineed you to hear me.
You're not buried, you're notbehind, you're not missing
anything.
You are where you need to be,you are being planted, and
things that are planted, guesswhat they do, guys?
They grow.
Like, I I recently actually I Iwant to kind of digress a little
(09:19):
bit, but really, this isimportant.
Like, I recently was able to getCleveland Clinic to be part of
my upcoming event on October11th in Las Vegas, October 11th,
Las Vegas.
Um, it's gonna be beautiful,right?
Call for more empowerment andmental wellness summit.
So, yes, shameless plugs forthat.
But I'm gonna have ClevelandClinic there, and they're really
(09:39):
gonna talk through some thingsthat I feel like are really
important.
And it's more than like thatsoul talk, it's like science,
right?
Science is proving that whatfaith has already shown and
known is really true, and soessentially Cleveland Clinic is
gonna be a part of the eventbecause they're gonna talk
through like brain health andjust the importance of really
not putting unnecessarypressures on ourselves, the
(10:02):
importance of balance, theimportance of just letting go of
burnout and performance culture.
And so, with that, I reallywanted to share some stats with
you.
So I gotta get my little notes, right?
Okay, so Cleveland Clinic foundthat nearly one in three adults
screened already had early signsof cognitive decline, right?
(10:24):
That's wild.
They launched a brain study with3,600 healthy adults that track
their memory, resilience, andperformance over time, and
dementia cases.
(10:56):
And the reality is we're notworking this hard to not
remember it.
So clearly, I'm not apsychologist.
Clearly, I don't have a PhD yet.
Soon we will have that, right?
Soon, soon manifesting it andgonna work for action, yes.
And so, with that, they'verecognized that there is some
sense of correlation.
So if you are in the Las Vegasarea or you want a reason to
(11:16):
come to Las Vegas, I need you tocome join us on October 11th
because the real professionalsare gonna get into all of that.
And it matters because how wemanage stress and performance
today literally rewires ourfuture brain.
And I mean, the reality isoverperforming burns you out.
(11:36):
Worry really steals your peace, and giving up really takes you
out of the race.
So it's like it's not all ornothing, but you have to trust,
you have to make sure you havefaith, you have to rest, and you
just have to know that you haveto protect your mind, protect
your spirit, and that faith isbrain health, right?
I guess it's brain health nowthat we're talking about like
(11:59):
the scientific correlationbetween the thing, but with
faith, you don't worry.
And so I just want you tounderstand like the importance
of your future health is reallyextremely important because I
just don't believe that I'mworking this hard to not
remember it, to not rememberwhat I see, to not see the
(12:21):
harvest, right?
To not see the the forest, tonot see the garden that I
planted.
And so I just wanted to makesure I share that they're gonna
be there, they're gonna betalking about all the things.
If you're interested in virtualoptions, I may have that.
I'm I'm still working on that,right?
Two weeks before the event, still working on that because
(12:41):
I've had people reach out tosay, like, I want to be in the
room, but I don't want to cometo Vegas.
So DM me at it's human AF,right, on Instagram, because
we've rebranded.
Follow me on Instagram atit'shumanaf, dm me, let me know
you're interested, and I'll tryto make sure I make it happen.
If you catch this after theevent, make sure you DM me and I
(13:03):
can definitely send you thereplay information so that you
can be able to grab that.
But I just want to make surethat we're really growing
together and we're getting allthe information and the gems
because the reality is yeah, ifwe knew that all of the things
that we were doing was actuallyworking against us, I think we
(13:23):
would do things differently.
And so I just want to make surethat you have the tools to take
care of yourself, both now sothat you're prepared for later.
So here's my thing (13:32):
stop
worrying yourself, stop
overperforming for applause.
That does not matter, andwhatever you do, just don't
quit.
If you're still here, you'recalled, if you're called, you're
equipped, you're called formore.
You're capable.
There's an abundance ofresources, an abundance of just
(13:56):
growth, abundance in what canhappen in your life, and this is
not the end, it's really thesetup.
It's not a place to where youfeel like, oh my goodness, I
can't do it, even when you feellike you're in the place of I
can't do it.
So just keep trusting, keeppressing along, keep knowing
(14:18):
that your next season is waitingfor you on the other side of
your perseverance, yourresilience, your knowing that
you are enough.
When you look back at your lifeand think about just like
younger you, she's proud.
You've come such a long way withthe cards that you were dealt.
(14:40):
Now reshuffle those cards.
Pull out your strengths, identify your weaknesses, find
people who have strengths inyour weaknesses, build a team.
You don't have to do it alone.
You shouldn't do it alone.
Like God created all thesepeople for you.
Align yourself with people thathave the values that you need,
(15:03):
that have the heart that youneed, have the traits that you
need, the principles that youhave, all the things, right?
And know that once you decidetake the action, believe, and
keep going, you can absolutelydo it.
I want you to know that you'renot alone with sharing the
(15:25):
weight of the chaos.
There's layoffs, there'sbusiness failures, there's just
communication issues andrelationships between
friendships, associates, family, marriage, all the things.
You don't have to carry all thatweight because you're not going
through it by yourself.
This is something that is acrossthe board happening, and so it's
(15:48):
important to build yourself upwith people who have the
capacity to remind you thatyou're not alone and that you're
gonna be okay.
But I want to go back and makesure that now that we're kind of
you know wrapping things up, youmake sure you go over to YouTube
and follow at Redivine theFuture You.
And if you're not a videoperson, hmm, there's somebody
(16:11):
that wants to see you.
So make sure you share us withyour friends and your stories.
Support me like I support you sothat we can rise together
because we can do hard things,we're not here to just survive.
We are absolutely positively, listen, we're gonna make no
words.
(16:32):
We are here to thrive, and Iwant to see you win.
You deserve it, we deserve it,and we're gonna do it together.
SPEAKER_00 (16:40):
We hope you caught
all those gems.
