A couple of you have been inthe studio before.
(00:52):
Amber Sampson, welcome back,hello.
Holly Hoyer welcome back, hello.
And you brought your other halftonight I did.
(01:20):
What a night.
Revival Night was held February1st at the Cornell Complex in
Joplin, missouri, right in theheart of the city, and we have
so much exciting news from thatevening.
I got to see it up close andpersonal as a person on the
prayer team and it was a joy tolook out across the audience and
(01:41):
realize it was almost tocapacity and I think the last
count was close to 300 attendingover 300.
Thank you for correcting me.
So we were excited to seepeople come out and be part, and
it just shows us there is ahunger in people's hearts to see
revival come not just to thecity of Joplin but to our state
(02:04):
and the nation and world.
And so I just want to start bysaying something that I really
loved about the night was therange of ages.
Yes, that really stood out tome.
My grandson is 13, and he wasthere, and I also met your mom,
holly, and what is she?
In her 80s?
She's 86.
86.
So a big representation of agesand a lot of people I didn't
(02:28):
know.
So we're very excited to havepeople who've maybe never been
to a Rise Up event be part ofthat.
So let's just get into thisinterview by reflecting on
things that we saw the Lord do,things that people are saying
and maybe some of our ownexperiences from Revival Night.
Who wants to begin?
Holly Hoyer (02:50):
Well, I'll start.
I just had some people thatshared some just powerful words
with me about Revival Night.
One was they described it asrenewing and refreshing.
Another one described it asthey felt such freedom to
worship.
(03:10):
Another one said the worshipdrew us into the presence of God
.
Another one said they lovedthat there was just open altars.
For whatever need you mighthave, you could go to the altar.
And then several said theyloved the testimony of Jeremiah,
who spoke that night.
Kim McIntire (03:31):
Yeah, it was a
message of freedom.
Holly Hoyer (03:35):
Really it was.
Amber Sampson (03:36):
Yeah, a message
of freedom?
Yeah, absolutely.
I think we're over two weeksout, I think, yeah, and I feel
like I'm still processing andwrapping my head around all the
different things, but it was,yeah.
I had somebody say too thatthey loved just the freedom of
(03:57):
the altar.
There was no pressure to comeforward or you could come, we
just left them open so peopletrickled in.
That was such a beautiful thingand I loved that.
We sang songs that everybodyknew, so it felt like everybody
could enter into worship and youprobably knew most every song
(04:17):
that was sung and if you didn't,the beat was good enough where
you could still enjoy it andhave a good time.
Right, and you know it wasstill.
You know the beat was goodenough where you could still
enjoy it and have a good time, right.
Yeah, I had somebody stop methe other day and say people are
still talking about it and it'sand that was two weeks after
the event yeah, and she saidshe's like no people who weren't
(04:41):
even there, people in thecommunity are talking about it.
Yeah, and I just felt, you knowthat just stunned me.
It's just, yeah, like you said, people are hungry and you could
feel that in the room.
People are hungry for anauthentic move of God.
Kim McIntire (04:58):
Last year we were
at 200, close to 200 at the Roxy
downtown and then over 300 atthe Cornell Complex, and just to
gain 100, and not that we'reabout numbers, but we are about
souls.
Holly Hoyer (05:12):
Right.
Kim McIntire (05:13):
And numbers
represent souls.
So to know, 300 people came outand just really participated.
I loved looking out over theaudience and I was actually on
the front row, but I looked overmy shoulder a few times and
just the participation.
People weren't there tospectate, they were there to
participate in what the Lord wasdoing and receiving what the
(05:36):
Lord was doing.
And you know, I don't think anopen altar is a familiar thing
for a lot of people, and so ifyou're a listener, I would ask
you, if you're in a church, ifyou're involved in a church
community where the altar isn'topen, start praying for the Lord
to open the altar.
(05:56):
You know the Lord wants thealtar to be open.
There's still a place to getdown on your knees.
There's still a place to goforward and be prayed over and
to confess your sins or beprayed over for healing or
receive Jesus as your Lord.
So that's something that reallythe Lord has put on my heart
Pray for the altars and thechurches to open.
Amber Sampson (06:15):
That's part of
revival.
Do we agree so?
Kim McIntire (06:19):
the open altar.
I'm glad you hit on that point,Amber.
That was very powerful.
Yeah, Chris, what were youobserving that night?
Chris Hoyer (06:28):
Just the power and
the presence of God that was in
the place.
You know I have an old soulwhen it comes to worship and I
truly enjoyed the worship andthe range of worship that we had
.
And I turned around and lookedup behind us and just saw people
so jubilantly, in an excitingway, pressing into the Lord in
(06:51):
their own style of worship, andit was just overwhelming.
The presence of God was therein a powerful, weighty way and.
I love that, from peopleclapping to dancing around a
little bit to their hands in theair, they just express in the
(07:11):
way that the Lord wanted them toexpress themselves.
And you know, when you think ofthe altar, you know people not
having that experience, maybe intheir churches, but just a
place to go and a place ofsacrifice, a place of obedience,
a place of laying it down, aplace of being refilled, and
(07:34):
that was there that night.
People were taking in from theLord what they needed.
Kim McIntire (07:41):
It's so true.
That was beautiful, it's sotrue.
So, yeah, we have to give ashout out for our worship team.
Yes, yes.
Amber Sampson (07:47):
They were amazing
.
They were rushing us into thethrone room.
Yeah.
Kim McIntire (07:50):
There was such an
anointing on that team.
And we're so thankful theLord's brought them to us.
You know, we couldn't havehandpicked a better team.
God did it.
Amber Sampson (08:00):
Yes, absolutely
yeah.
Kim McIntire (08:02):
So any favorite
parts of the night.
Amber Sampson (08:05):
Well, before we
go there, I do I want to go back
.
You were talking about adiverse crowd.
We there were.
We saw a few pastors there fromaround our city, which was our
couple, and so that was reallycool to see and we had.
There were men, women, kids, like you said, but there were
people of all different churches, denominations, that were
(08:27):
represented there and that isour heart as Rise Up, that it's
not this denomination or thischurch, but it's for everybody,
and it's for the young, it's forthe old, it's for the man, it's
for the woman, it's for thepastor, and you can be this
faith or that faith, but come onin and you know the water's
fine.
(08:47):
So that was really cool to seethat a vision that we've, you
know the heart behind it wasreally represented there that
night.
I was really it's true.
It was cool to see that.
Kim McIntire (08:58):
I don't know what
I expected exactly, but I didn't
know most of the people thatwere there.
But that was a nice surprise, you know.
I mean I knew several, a lot ofpeople that were there, but
there, were a whole lot ofpeople I didn't know.
Yeah, absolutely so anyfavorite parts that just stand
out to you guys.
Holly Hoyer (09:18):
My favorite part
would probably be just the
people that were engaged inwhatever was taking place,
whether it was worship oramening Jeremiah, as he's
sharing this testimony or whenthey took up the offering for
the ask and the song they sangand people just stood and began
(09:38):
to worship and dance.
Amber Sampson (09:40):
It was just a
beautiful night.
Yeah, we were having fun in thepresence of the Lord and, you
know, then we went into a timeof prayer for revival.
That's our heart, you know, that's our heart in general, but
really a focus this year isrevival.
And you know, kim, you went tothe platform and, you know,
asked everybody to bow and prayand my husband, you know, played
(10:03):
the drums that night, and soI'm on the front with you guys
and so I'm like I don't have aclue what's happening behind me.
All I see is what's in front.
And so I've asked him I waslike, how do people respond to
that?
Because that's not maybesomething everybody's
comfortable with.
And he was like, oh yeah, everybody was in on that, and so
that was a beautiful moment and, yeah, I loved that.
(10:29):
And then I was hosting the altarand helping people get
connected to a prayer team, andthey just trickled in, like the
Lord just continued to deal withpeople as the night went on,
and so this one would come upand get somebody to pray for
them, or then somebody elsewould come up, and so it was
just such a beautiful flow and Ijust loved how, you know, we
(10:50):
didn't practice any of that, andso we just kind of had a couple
people take the mic and justkeep the altar open and I just
loved how it just flowed andcontinued.
Kim McIntire (10:58):
It was so spirit
led.
Holly Hoyer (11:00):
It was the Holy
Spirit was leading all of it.
Kim McIntire (11:03):
Yeah Well, one of
my favorite parts.
I really couldn't pick afavorite part.
Amber Sampson (11:08):
Oh yeah.
Kim McIntire (11:09):
But one of my
favorite parts I'm going to
actually have Holly talk alittle bit about.
But we opened with two veryyoung ladies and I don't know
their ages exactly.
I know they're elementary aged.
Read the Word.
Why don't you talk a little bitabout that, holly?
And how did the Lord put thaton?
I mean, how did that come about?
Holly Hoyer (11:27):
Yeah, I had went to
a Thanksgiving service at
Watered Gardens and they hadstarted off the service with
children reading the word and Iloved it and I just felt like
the Lord said, do this atRevival Night.
And so Peyton and Lizzie readtwo scriptures, really as a call
(11:51):
to worship and a call to prayer, and it really just set the
atmosphere for the night.
It was precious, it wasprecious it really was.
Kim McIntire (12:00):
I feel like that
everyone's hearts just softened
and people that maybe weren'tcomfortable, because why am I
here?
Amber Sampson (12:08):
How did I end up
here?
What's going to happen?
What's going to happen.
Kim McIntire (12:12):
Just immediately
we're settling in to receive and
to also pour out, because weare not just receiving from the
Lord but pouring out praises.
So I thought that was just areally beautiful moment in the
night.
Christos, is there somethingspecific that stands out to you
from that night?
Chris Hoyer (12:31):
Yeah, there's a
couple things.
When you talk of the children,I mean, what did Jesus do?
He invited the children to cometo Him.
Just that innocent, pure heartand I think that by doing that
that affected all of us to bethe same way.
But I saw so many businessleaders in the community.
(12:52):
I saw pastors.
I'm an introvert but when I getin settings like that I make
myself step out and I was goingaround and saw people that I
used to go to church with otherpeople that I had pastored
friends, and I really enjoyedthat part and I mean it made my
(13:15):
heart beat fast to see so manydifferent folks coming together
from watered gardens ordifferent places and that
blessed me and excited me somuch.
And being able to kind ofreunite and visit with those
folks again that I haven't seenin a while.
It also helped me to understandhow God was moving and the
(13:36):
impact that Rise Up was having.
Kim McIntire (13:41):
And.
I was just thanking himthroughout the night because I
would reflect on that yeah, god's resort was there with a
group, yes, of women from thewell I love that jay and julie,
who are dear friends of mine, were there and they just said
that they were so thankful to bein that.
In that part of that night toothey came you, you know, seeking
(14:05):
and they were filled, and whatbetter testimony can you get
than that?
Holly Hoyer (14:11):
That's really the
heart of Rise Up For people
across denominational lines tocome together and worship the
Lord, and it's our heart to justreach the pastor that may be
burnt out or the person thatgoes to church once every six
(14:31):
years, but come together, worship the Lord and then go and
serve.
Go, get involved in your localchurch.
Be filled and poured out.
Be filled and poured out.
Yes.
Kim McIntire (14:41):
Be filled and
poured out.
That's so good.
Well, I was part of the prayerteam and a couple of testimonies
stand out to me.
One specific thing I want toshare is that I believe we
prayed over five individualsEverett and I, my husband and I
and four of the five, when theyapproached us for prayer, said
(15:06):
what that man said spoke to me,and I want that freedom, and so
what I love is God anointedJeremiah's word with specific
truth that God knew was going topenetrate hearts.
And then the evidence was theresponse to the altar, and so
(15:29):
this one individual we prayedfor was saying I want that kind
of freedom.
And we literally saw thisperson's countenance entirely
change from a heaviness and aburden and really just distress,
you know, just very distressedand just, I would even say, a
(15:50):
bit tormented.
And after you know three orfour minutes of prayer it was
like the joy of the Lord wasshining on this person and I was
just so humbled to be part ofthe mighty work the Holy Spirit
was doing in the altar.
And we are just one couple outof many of the teams that were
(16:12):
up front, so I haven't even hada chance to hear the testimonies
.
We're going to have a meetingon Sunday and I'm excited about
that to hear from prayer team.
But I know this the Lord wasdoing some mighty work.
People were seeking freedomfrom oppression and chains and
sin that they've been caught upin or trapped by.
(16:33):
So the enemy, he took somepunches, some hard punches that
night, I'm happy to say.
Holly Hoyer (16:40):
Thank you.
Amber Sampson (16:40):
Jesus.
Holly Hoyer (16:42):
Thank you, jesus.
I prayed with a lady thatJeremiah's testimony touched and
she came forward and saidbasically she had battled a
needing disorder and had neverconfessed it and she wanted
freedom that night.
And so we just agreed with herin prayer and I believe in God,
(17:06):
she's still free.
Kim McIntire (17:07):
Yeah, amen, that's
so good, wow.
Well, I know that a revivalnight doesn't just happen.
So we've talked about thewonderful things, some of the
wonderful things that we saw andexperienced and heard, but
let's talk a little bit aboutwhat happens ahead of that.
(17:28):
That.
A little bit.
What does it take to host arevival night in a venue in
Joplin, downtown Joplin, and endup, you know, basically
ministering to 300 plus people?
(17:49):
Like how in the world does ateam of a few people end up
doing that?
Amber Sampson (17:55):
Amber, I mean God
, obviously, but yeah, oh, it's
all Him, it's God, obviously.
Kim McIntire (18:00):
But people may be
thinking how does this even
happen?
Amber Sampson (18:07):
Yeah, well, it is
God aiming to Him.
Be the glory.
But when we went and looked atthe facility, I had never been
in the Cornell complex.
You hadn't either, holly.
And so we're like, how muchdoes this thing cost?
Because it's probably thenicest venue in all of Joplin,
to my knowledge.
It's a beautiful space.
(18:28):
And so we get the price sheetand we sat in the and we're like
, well, this is wonderful, thisis beautiful, and how are we
going to pay for this?
And we knew that if God waswanting us to be there, that
He'd make a way.
But you think that you knowthat.
But you don a walk and Hollycalls me and we never even asked
(19:00):
for the money.
But when somebody found out thatwe were considering that
facility, that venue, they saidI want to pay for it.
Wow, we never said, hey, youknow, you've sponsored us before
, would you sponsor us again?
No, no, they just said, hey, wewant the Spirit of God in that
building.
And how much do you need?
How much do you need?
(19:21):
Everything you want for thatnight?
What's it take?
And they cut us a check and theLord provided even more after
that.
But we never asked prior to thatnight for $1 for that evening
and we had a couple differentpeople, you know, hand us a
(19:42):
check for that evening and whenthe night was over, I just I was
talking to somebody and I waslike God wanted us to be here.
I mean there's no other way toexplain it, but that's where he
wanted us to be.
There was a reason and purpose, and we'll probably get into
that a little bit, but I meanthat's one of the things I'll
(20:06):
always take away from reallyfrom that night.
But I mean it was I don't know.
There's so many things to say.
I'm still in awe over thatwhole thing.
I'm still in awe.
Kim McIntire (20:16):
We didn't just
accidentally end up at the
Cornell conference.
Chris Hoyer (20:19):
No, we didn't oh
right.
Yeah, I mean.
Kim McIntire (20:22):
Jehovah Jireh yeah
.
Amber Sampson (20:24):
Come on.
Holly Hoyer (20:25):
Yeah.
Kim McIntire (20:25):
He always shows up
right on time.
Yeah, other thoughts, holly, that you want to add about just
preparation.
Holly Hoyer (20:32):
Well, we couldn't
do it without an incredible team
, and then an incredible team ofvolunteers, of people that just
say, hey, we believe in whatyou're doing, we want to support
you and we want to comealongside you, from people that
were in the parking lotsdirecting traffic, so to speak,
(20:53):
and our prayer team, our hostingteam, people feeding us.
Yes, I mean it's just anincredible team.
Amber Sampson (21:03):
They're
volunteers.
Nobody's getting a paycheck,nobody yeah.
Kim McIntire (21:11):
And someday we
should count up how many are on
the actual team because Iactually don't know, but it's a
lot of people.
Amber Sampson (21:12):
It takes a lot of
people to make these things, to
make any event happen.
It takes a lot of people.
So if you're listening andyou're a volunteer, you've
helped us.
We just big thank you.
Thank you, a big thank you.
Holly Hoyer (21:25):
Yeah, so provision.
Or if you're listening and youwould think I would love to be
involved with that at conference, get in contact with us because
we'd love to meet you and talkto you and see if there's a
place for you on our volunteerteam.
Kim McIntire (21:40):
Absolutely, and
that's always easy to find us
and it's time to rise.
Uporg is a great place to makethat connection.
Amber Sampson (21:49):
Contact us
through that website.
Kim McIntire (21:51):
Yeah, so yeah,
provision by the Lord, the
volunteers, absolutely Peopleprovision and people, God's
protection.
I mean God was just so gracioustoo.
You know Downtown can be kindof sometimes sketchy at night.
You know, God protected.
Amber Sampson (22:13):
There were no
incidents.
Kim McIntire (22:14):
I mean God was
just all around us and the Holy
Spirit was clearly working.
Amber Sampson (22:19):
I wonder but
there's a lot of preparation.
But you host a prayer team whoprays for us for Rise Up on a
regular basis.
You guys meet once a month anddifferent, you know you're
sending out prayer points atdifferent times and so, and
different, you know you'resending out prayer points at
different times, and so I mean Iknow we all feel that we feel
those prayers when we're therethat night and even leading up
(22:42):
to it.
Kim McIntire (22:46):
So there's a lot
that goes into it.
I just thought, if we werewriting a book about how to do
an event, we've got three pointsthat start with P Provision,
people, prayer.
That's probably not the rightorder.
Not the right order Prayer, andthen God provides and gives us
people.
Amber Sampson (23:02):
Yeah, and that is
, and I mean and that sounds
like really cliche, but it isthe truth, it is.
I mean, I don't know how manytimes we've thought and said why
are we in charge of anything?
I mean, I don't know.
I mean For sure it's.
You know, and I'll just speakyou know, as a young person, I
would, oh, I would love to play.
(23:22):
You know, I went to bigconferences or whatever.
Oh, I'd love to do somethinglike that.
And you know, I thought, oh,I'll feel, you know, really
great about myself.
It's the most humbling thingyou'll ever be a part of,
because you know you can't dothis.
That's right, you can't do thisyou can't it's true and we can't
Right it's true.
I mean, it is the most humblingexperience.
Kim McIntire (23:46):
But I feel like
that point that you just made is
one reason the Lord's hand hasrested so heavily on the team.
It's because there's a spiritof humility in which all of us
recognize.
This is not happening becauseof my talent or ability.
This is happening because theLord's favor has shown on us in
(24:10):
this season and we give him allthe glory for it.
Amber Sampson (24:14):
We really don't
know what we're doing, but God
shows up it helps.
Kim McIntire (24:20):
And so yeah, the
prayer is powerful.
Chris Hoyer (24:23):
I mean being, I
guess, the man around the table
here.
Normally I'm sitting in myoffice when you ladies all come
together in your group Right andI can hear you through the door
praying and it just makes methink of you know, there's that
(24:43):
verse in the Bible that talksabout the oil that's dumped over
the head of Aaron and runs downthe garment and it talks about
that anointing, bringing forththe commanded blessing, but just
the ladies coming in andpraying and crying out to God
and that unity.
(25:04):
It sets all of this up.
It creates the order and Godwants a lot of prayer and
intercession and it sets thestage for that worship night and
(25:26):
what we saw happen.
I believe that's the foundationof it.
So all these other things thatyou do, I don't want to discount
them, but it's the prayer.
Kim McIntire (25:35):
Oh sure,
absolutely For sure.
Yeah, prayer, humility, provision favor layers and
layers.
Holly Hoyer (25:46):
And preparation,
and preparation.
I feel like this is preparationfor what God wants to do, not
only through Rise Up, but in agreater awakening for our area.
We're believing God for a greatawakening in our area.
Kim McIntire (26:00):
Yes, we are.
Holly Hoyer (26:00):
And that means
every Bible-believing church.
We're believing God that yourattendance is going to come up.
Your income is going toincrease in your church.
We're believing God to justpour out prodigals coming home.
That's our heart Salvationcoming home.
Kim McIntire (26:17):
That's our heart.
Salvation.
I've been praying for thespirit of salvation to fall in
the churches, that people goforward and want Jesus to be
Lord and Savior.
Savior and Lord, so all overevery church every
Bible-believing church Lord.
And even non-believing churchesAwaken them, lord, to truth,
right?
(26:38):
So no one's too far gone forGod to reach.
So what a joy, what a joy totalk about this recap of Revival
Night.
We're looking forward to August.
We're just going to talk alittle bit now about conference.
We know there are somelisteners that are tuning into
the podcast that haven't yetattended an event, and so we
(26:59):
want to just kind of give them alittle glimpse into what some
things that they could expect inAugust.
So who wants to start with that?
Holly Hoyer (27:09):
Well, it'll be just
kind of an extension of what we
just experienced at RevivalNight.
We feel like the theme for 2025is revival.
Yes, so that's what we're goingafter, that's right.
Just a mighty move of God.
Powerful worship, freedom toworship.
Amen.
All ages are welcome, Men andwomen are welcome, yes, and
(27:34):
powerful prayers.
I mean we're going to havespeakers.
We're praying about that rightnow who that's?
Supposed to be, but we're just.
We're excited for just a moveof God.
Kim McIntire (27:47):
August 1st and 2nd
yeah, and the big difference
between that and worship nightis you have, you know, instead
of a couple of hours, it's a fewhours on Friday night and then
a few hours on Saturday, and soit's just a double portion.
Amber Sampson (28:03):
Yes, amen, that's
the right way to think of it.
A triple portion maybe, andjust God's Spirit moving.
Kim McIntire (28:09):
We've seen some
incredible things come from
conference.
Holly Hoyer (28:12):
Oh yeah.
Amber Sampson (28:12):
Yes.
Kim McIntire (28:13):
And just, we're on
a trajectory.
It's God's grace, I know, andit's just.
It continues to get sweeter anddeeper and richer, with the
Lord.
So what are you looking forwardto, amber?
Amber Sampson (28:29):
Well, I'm looking
forward to being back at the
Keter Center.
If you've never been, you know,do a Google search.
It is beautiful.
When you drive onto the campus, you feel the presence of the
Lord.
It's a beautiful environmentthere, and so I'm excited to be
there once again.
It's on the College of theOzarks campus there in Branson.
(28:49):
So, yeah, I'm, you know, justkind of like Holly said, it's
extension of worship night andit's just such a beautiful time
to just really just have a—Ifeel like conference is an
intimate time.
You know, there's an intimacythere.
We have a little bit longer oftime frames so we can—you can go
a little deeper, you can go alittle longer, and so, yeah,
(29:14):
that's.
I think what I'm lookingforward to is just spending time
with the Lord there.
I mean it's yeah.
Kim McIntire (29:21):
This is the first
time we've had a male around the
table and talk about conference.
So, Chris, what would you sayis a takeaway from your
perspective, a takeaway fromconference?
Chris Hoyer (29:37):
Well, first I would
just want to say man, don't
just send your wife away for theweekend, go with them.
It is powerful.
And that would take me back toour very first conference.
I remember a handful of us guysjust being kind of over in the
corner there to serve as needed, but we were in the room and God
(30:01):
moved in such a powerful way.
My takeaway I look at bothconferences but I'm going to go
back to the first one because Ican remember seeing just God and
His Holy Spirit move like awave across that room.
And a couple of us were backthere and I mean it wasn't like
(30:22):
tears were just running down ourface, but there were tears in
our eyes because we could seethe power of God moving.
And I can remember at one pointwhere the table leaders at that
time that we had there wasprayer going on and everybody
was on their feet and I couldn'thold myself back.
You know, being a previouspastor, I just started walking
(30:47):
down the middle of all thosewomen as they were praying and I
remember stopping and somebodywas being prayed for and they
had a certain thing they werebeing prayed for and that lady
looked at me and said it's nothappening yet.
And I was like, okay, and Ibegan to pray and what they were
praying for began to take placein their life and it was
(31:09):
beautifully being manifested andbut I was just walking through
the middle of that and it wasjust, it was amazing, the
presence.
And it was just.
It was amazing, the presence, the power, the glory, the joy.
So much.
There were tears, deliverance,so many things going on, healing
and, oh my, so powerful.
And that's my takeaway fromthat first event that we had.
(31:36):
And, of course, last year itjust went to a totally different
level and having men, at thatfirst year we were the only men
in the room- Like four of you,and so yeah what a blessing.
But in this last year there wereso many men that came, and so
guys, come out.
If you don't, you're gonna missout.
Kim McIntire (31:55):
You're gonna miss
it sure it'll change your lives.
Oh my goodness my husband'sfirst um conference was last
summer and I mean he, he's likeI'll be back every year.
I mean he enjoyed it just asmuch as I did.
Yeah and so, and that's sayinga lot for my husband, who really
is happy to be on the lawnmoweron a summer day.
(32:16):
Oh, I, I love that His happyplace is his grasshopper.
That's so good.
Amber Sampson (32:23):
So anyway, well,
I just want to say when you come
to conference, it's, you know,there's.
It's.
I don't want to say I don't, Iwant to.
It's it's.
It's church like normal andstuff, but it's just such an
intimate space.
It's church like normal andstuff, but it's just such an
intimate space it's.
You know, the room is notginormous or anything, so it's
(32:51):
an intimate room and we'reseeing, you know, we're going to
enter into worship and we'regoing to have a couple of
speakers.
I know we've kind of said that, but if you've never been before,
kind of trying to paint apicture of what you might
experience when you're there, you can come and dress like you
would dress for any other churchservice.
If you want to wear a suit orif you want to wear your Sunday
dress, go for it.
If you want to wear jeans, thenthat's great too, but there's
not a lot of flash and pizzazz.
(33:12):
It's oh, I'm trying to think ofthe word, but it's just kind of
stripped down a little bit.
Casual, yeah, intimate, yeah, casual and intimate, yeah, those
are good words.
And so we don't havehigh-dollar speakers that are
really going to grab.
Oh, I want to come and hearthat man or that woman.
(33:34):
We just have people who have apowerful testimony.
We overcome by the blood of theLamb and the word of our
testimony, and when you hearwhat other people are walking
through or have walked through, you can resonate with that, and
if God did it for them, he'll doit for you, and so there's just
such a power in that.
So that's kind of you know, thespeakers that we pray for and
(33:55):
look for, and we do have prayer.
We spend a lot of time inprayer and just enjoying the
presence of the Lord.
So come and be a part of it.
Don't hold back.
If you've never been, and if youare like, well, I have this
question or that question, reachout to us through our website,
find us on social media, send usa private message.
(34:16):
We respond to all of thosethings.
But I do want to share.
We have a promo code.

$15 discount on your ticket thisyear.
So, and that could.
We're going to keep that promocode going until conference in
August.
So, but don't wait, get yourtickets.
If you want to come as a couple, buy one today and buy one next
month.
If you, you know.
You know we pray thatbabysitters are supplied.
You know all of these things.
Holly Hoyer (34:58):
It's our heart
excuse me, kim, but it's our
heart for it to be affordable.
We want people to be able toafford, to be able to come, and
so we feel like for a weekendconference it's very affordable
and that's important to us.
Kim McIntire (35:15):
And I'm super
excited about the podcast promo
code.
And I'm super excited about thepodcast promo code and I just
want to say, if you don't knowme and you end up at conference
and you have become familiarwith Rise Up through the podcast
, I would ask you of how manycities it goes out to.
And it's unbelievable to me thecities around the nation that
are listening, and I would loveto meet listeners personally and
(35:48):
say thank you in person fortaking your time to be part of
this podcast.
Amber Sampson (35:53):
And we have
people fly in.
I mean we've got people fromFlorida who come North Carolina,
who've been, so don't feel like, oh, that's just for people in
Southwest Missouri, no, it's foranybody.
We had a lady come from Oregonone time.
So, come on, don't be shy, theKira.
Kim McIntire (36:07):
Center is an
amazing place to visit.
And Branson if you've neverbeen in Branson, make a weekend
of it.
Yeah for sure.
So much to do.
Go to Silver Dollar City.
Yeah, it's a great opportunityfor fellowship too I mean we go
saying boy, that sounds like awhole lot of church, but there's
a whole lot of fellowship andyou meet new people and it is a
(36:28):
great time.
It is yeah, yeah, it'swonderful, we're super excited.
And what I love aboutconferences there's such a
freedom in the holy spirit andsome people worship very quietly
, sitting or kneeling, and somepeople worship very ex, sitting
or kneeling, and some peopleworship very exuberantly.
That would be more like meLifted hands, clapping hands, a
little dancing once in a while, but the beautiful thing is it's
(36:52):
honoring to the Lord.
Holly Hoyer (36:53):
He's worthy of it
all.
Kim McIntire (36:54):
He's worthy of it
all.
He desires worshipers whoworship in spirit and truth, and
so I feel like Rise Up is justin that sweet spot of freedom in
the Holy.
Spirit, you know, and justworshiping for an audience of
one, that is the heart of ourconference and testimony,
(37:17):
redemption, prayer, worship allof it combined just make for a
powerful weekend.
