Last Friday, in the midst of a busy day in Washington,
DC that included thousands of visitors who came to participate
in the March for life, a new story broke that
reminded us of the power of a whistleblower. Let me
fill you in.

S2 (00:13):
Here to unpack present day issues from a biblical perspective
is Janet Parshall.

S1 (00:19):
Doctor Ethan Heim is a Dallas based physician who believes
not only in good science and compassionate care for his patients,
but he also believes in something else something good for
the health of everyone. The truth. A few years ago,
executives at Texas Children's Hospital announced that they would stop
performing transgender medical procedures on children, citing potential legal and
criminal liability. But something wasn't right. Doctor Heim knew the

hospital was continuing to perform these barbaric procedures despite their
representation to the public. He gathered together documents, redacting all
the personal information of the patients and provided them to
Christopher Rufo, a journalist who had been covering the issue.
According to Rufo, he had, quote, obtained exclusive whistleblower documents
showing that despite its public statements, the Houston based Children's Hospital,

the largest in the U.S., had secretly continued to perform
transgender medical interventions, including the use of implantable puberty blockers
on minor children. When reached via email, the hospital spokeswoman responded,
we have no comment. Close quote. The Biden Department of
Justice decided to go after Doctor Heim. The DOJ indictment
alleged that Heim obtained unauthorized, individually identifiable health, HIPAA protected

information on pediatric patients and, quote, caused malicious harm to
pediatric patients at TC and its positions by contacting and
media contact. End quote. If convicted, Heim faced up to
ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Last Friday,
the case against Doctor Heim was dismissed with prejudice following

a months long legal battle. According to Doctor Attorney, the
United States has finally agreed to drop the case against
Doctor Heim and the court just granted dismissal. The case
has been dismissed with prejudice so that the federal government
can never again come after him for blowing the whistle
on the secret pediatric transgender program at Texas Children's Hospital.
We took on the most powerful federal leviathan in human

history and won. This is credit to the power of
truth and justice being able to destroy lies and corruption.
Doctor Ethan Hayden had caught the hospital in a bald
faced lie regarding their transgender medical procedures. Even more troublesome
was that Hames stood in stark opposition to the Biden
administration's advocacy of these procedures. His courage came with a
high price. Him and his wife lost close friendships, all

their savings and their peace of mind, but they never wavered.
There's a lesson here for all of us. Exposing the
deeds of darkness was never designed to be easy, but
it most clearly allows the light of truth to shine brightly.
It also takes the courage to stand, often alone, while
upholding the lantern of truth. May God give us all
