• ikemasu = potential form of iku＞ikimasu

Lisa san seems to have lost her way.  She asked a woman the way.

Lisa:  Um… is the station in this direction?

Woman:  No, not this way, but that way.

L:  Is it within walking distance?

W:  Well, let’s see, it will take 20 minutes. Go straight here and turn right at that traffic light. From there, follow the road about 15 minutes, and you will see the station, I guess.

L:  Michinari?

W:  Well, (it means) to follow the road. There will be a little slope, though.

L:  It should be fine. It will be a good exercise!

リ： みちなり？

お： えっと、みちにそって… follow the roadです。ちょっと さか, えっとslope.….? ちょっと さかが ありますけど。

リ： だいじょうぶです。いい うんどうになります!
