At the age of 8, Dr James Muecke AM had a vision. He had a vision that, whilst he didn't know exactly where it would take him, he knew that it was going to involve him being in medicine and healing of some kind. He followed his heart which has lead him to achieve extraordinary results within both the medical field of opthamology and eye health around the world. His passion for life is limitless and his unwavering committment to making a difference to the health and lives of others lead him to become CoFounder and Chairman of Sight For All - an organisation making incredible positive strides forward.
In 2020 he was awarded the honour of Australian of the Year acknowledging his contribution and in 2022 he was made Lieutenant Governor of South Australia.
