Who are we without the title, job or career that defines so many of us. We all struggle with this. Eventually we will all stop doing that job or career and then what?
Being defined by what we do happens incrementally, as we assume new roles or titles it starts to take away from who we are.
Are we Human beings or Human doings?
Who we are can be terrifying, it takes vulnerability. Our jobs provide safety and we develop a quest for status rather than virtues.
