A tender goodbye can carry a surprising amount of hope.

We’re pressing pause on the Jesus Fix It podcast to follow where God is leading and to steward our time and support wisely. Spirit FM is in a season of change, with new roles and responsibilities that deserve our best attention. As a listener-supported community, we take seriously the call to invest resources where they serve most people, most days.

We share openly about the practical side—why download numbers matter for sustainability—and the spiritual side—how discernment, prayer, and peace guided our decision. Rather than a hard stop, this is a careful pivot. The good news: every episode from the past five years stays live. That means you can revisit your favorite conversations about faith, real life, joy, and struggle, or share a timely episode with a friend who needs encouragement. Think of the archive as a library you can enter anytime.

We also map out how to stay connected. You can hear us daily on Spirit FM for the same honest voices, plus music and real-time encouragement. And if short reflections fit your rhythm, Jess’s Daily Devotion offers practical, hope-filled messages you can carry into your day. Whether the show returns or remains a beloved archive, the heart remains the same: helping people meet Jesus in the middle of everyday life.

If this conversation encouraged you, subscribe to the feed so you don’t miss any updates, share your favorite episode with a friend, and leave a review to help others find hope. We’re grateful for every listen and every prayer—see you on Spirit FM and in your daily devotions.

SPEAKER_04 (00:02):
Hey, welcome back or welcome to the Jesus Fix It
Podcast, the show where we talkabout life, the ups, the downs,
a little pop culture, andeverything in between.

SPEAKER_03 (00:12):
I'm Jess.
And I'm Steph.
Every other week we dive intothe things we're asking Jesus to
fix.
And let's be real, there's alot.
You can always count on us tokeep it real.

SPEAKER_04 (00:23):
Share some laughs with us, and maybe a few tears
as we tackle the big and smallstuff with faith and honesty.
So grab your coffee and let'sget into it.

SPEAKER_05 (00:36):
So this is Christmas.
Oh, that's a song.
So this is Christmas.
Wherever you are.
Something, something, something.
You're not very far.
I don't know.
I'll I'll make it up, but yeah.
I know, I love that song.

SPEAKER_04 (00:54):
It's peaceful yet sad, I think.
Okay.
Oh, well, we have a couple ofother songs to sing to you that
are also a little sad.
All right.
What about um so we go to theend of the road?

(01:17):
Or is it did we come to the endof the road?
Oh well, this might be.
Okay.
Um, I never know the words tosongs.
Right.
I sing what I hear.
That's the rule.
Okay, what about bye bye?

SPEAKER_05 (01:33):
Um, no, no, and you do the dance.
I'm doing the dance.
Yep, exactly.
Okay.

SPEAKER_04 (01:41):
Um, what's another bye-bye song?
Um gosh.
Um are y'all noticing a themehere, though?
This is so hard for us to.
Oh, you know what?
We're just gonna have to rip theband-aid off.
Y'all, the reason we're singingthese sad bye-bye songs is

(02:03):
because this is the last episodeof the Jesus Fix It podcast.

SPEAKER_05 (02:10):
Don't you forget about me.
Oh, don't, don't, don't, don't,don't you forget about me.
Or you or us.
Aww.

SPEAKER_04 (02:24):
Now that we have been singing, they probably want
it to be the last episode.

SPEAKER_05 (02:31):
If you're still hanging with us, thank you.

SPEAKER_04 (02:40):
Okay, but okay, so we're just gonna keep it real.
We've always kept it real withyou.
So let us just explain.
We have a lot of changes comingto Spirit FM already.

We know the majority of youlisten to Spirit FM who listen
to the podcast.

(03:25):
Um, but at the radio station, where you can listen to us every
day.
Yes, did I say that already?
Okay, we have a lot of changeshappening.
Um, this is a really busy seasonfor us.
I'm getting a new co-host,hopefully praying about that.
Um, so in this busy season, Godis just calling our attention to

(03:50):
some different things.
And Jesus fix it has to be puton the back burner.
And our downloads really aren'twhere they need to be in order
to sustain the podcast.

SPEAKER_02 (04:02):
Right.
You know, as alistener-supported,
community-supported station, thepodcast is part of that.
And it's just one of thosethings we want to be very wise
about the finances that God hasentrusted the station with
through you.
And so, in doing that, the backburner right now is the one
that's burning up.

(04:24):
It doesn't make sense.
It made perfect sense, but itworks.
Because we're putting thebecause Jesus Fix It is going on
the back burner.

SPEAKER_04 (04:31):
Yes.
However, all episodes willremain published.
If you want to go back andlisten to some episodes, if you

to.
Um, and who knows what thefuture holds.
Who knows what God is gonnacontinue to do through Jesus Fix
It?
We're not saying this is the endforever.
It's just on pause for rightnow.

(05:13):
God is calling us to somethingelse, to do some other things.
And right now, this is just theend of the road for the moment.
But we so love hanging out withyou.
This has been a passion of ours.
We so look forward to this time.
Yeah.
But right now, God is callingour time someplace else.

(05:35):
And friends are friends forever.

SPEAKER_05 (05:37):
And she's the Lord's the Lord of them.

SPEAKER_04 (05:40):
I think they don't want to hear us sing anymore.

SPEAKER_05 (05:42):
And a friend will be.
Okay, she's saying, Nana, keepdoing it.
She's gonna, okay, you're doingit.
Because the time will not end.
Why do I not remember the lyricsto that song?
I think God is telling you tostop.
Fair.

SPEAKER_04 (05:59):
Yeah.
