SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
I'm Michael and this is my wife Ashley and this is
the Jesus, Michael, and Ashleyshow.
So this is our second episode orwhatever you want to call it,
second video.
We don't know what this is.
It's fine.
So I thought it'd be great justto dive right into it.
Okay, let's do it.
Let's talk about Satan.

UNKNOWN (00:21):
Okay.

SPEAKER_01 (00:21):
Straight up.

SPEAKER_00 (00:21):
All

SPEAKER_01 (00:21):
right.

SPEAKER_00 (00:24):
We're going in on Satan.
All

SPEAKER_01 (00:28):
right, guys.
All right, so.
Go on.
Tell us about him.

SPEAKER_00 (00:30):
Well, you know, it's funny because, you know, some
people don't actually believe heexists.
But I don't know.
I would say he firmly exists.

SPEAKER_01 (00:40):
Okay.

SPEAKER_00 (00:41):
Well, why?
Well, that's a great question.
So, okay, some examples here.
Okay.
So obviously there's a lot ofdivision going on in the world.
There's just people fightingamongst each other.
The way I like to put it is thatSatan's like the ultimate
gaslighter.
So he is that person.

(01:01):
It's almost like how you see inthe cartoons where you have a
little angel on your shoulderand you have the little devil on
your shoulder.
It's kind of like that.
And the Bible says, do not trustyour own thoughts and filter
your thoughts through Christ.
Make sure your thoughts are purebefore you just start running
with your thoughts, basically.

SPEAKER_01 (01:20):
Pretty much question everything.

SPEAKER_00 (01:21):
all of your thoughts yes take every thought captive
is what it says in here takeevery thought captive

SPEAKER_01 (01:26):
which is easier said than done

SPEAKER_00 (01:28):
absolutely

SPEAKER_01 (01:29):
just want to be clear that we are always working
on things

SPEAKER_00 (01:33):
yes everyone we're all working on things it's a
daily uh daily thing so thosethoughts like sometimes thoughts
pop in your head you're likewhere's that thought come from
it's like uh but also you havethese thoughts where they pop in
and they're like you know likeYou deserve this.
You deserve this promotion.
Screw them.
You know what I mean?

(01:53):
What do they do?
They're nothing.
You deserve this.
And so it's like he kind offlows in there with your own
thoughts.
And I'm not saying the devil'salways in your head.
Definitely not.
But there's some aspect to thatwhere we want to be selfish all
the time.
And we see that in society.

(02:14):
Why aren't we being good?
Why aren't we being nice andkind and peaceful?
in 2025 i would have thoughtthat we could have um you know
been in a civilized uh situationbut it's like we're countries
are rising against countries andit's just getting worse and
worse and countries are rising

SPEAKER_01 (02:31):
against countries in our own countries yeah rising

SPEAKER_00 (02:35):
which is crazy like left versus right liberal
democrat and now you have emailversus mail now like it's and
and also of course all thecountries and also check this
out and i'm gonna go in thedetails about the anti-Semitism,
because why is there so muchfocus right now on Israel?
It's because probably Satan,honestly.

(02:56):
He has some hand in that becauseof what's going on with that.
But anyways, there's just somany examples, like gaslighting.
Also, like we said, yourthoughts and things like that,
the selfishness.
He's

SPEAKER_01 (03:11):
also, I like when you say this, he's the ultimate
deceiver.
Yes.
That's my favorite One to say, because that's what he's doing,
whether it's those thoughtswhere you think that you deserve
whatever it is or that you don'tdeserve anything at all.
He's the ultimate deceiver.
Anything, if he can find thatlittle entrance, whether it's

(03:35):
either one of those things, he'sgoing to take it.
and deceive you and make youthink those things when it's
probably the opposite.

SPEAKER_00 (03:44):
Do you know how many times it says do not be deceived
in the Bible?

SPEAKER_01 (03:47):
No, I have no idea.

SPEAKER_00 (03:49):
A bunch.
I wish I had the number.
Okay.
It says it.
I'll have to get back on that.
Yeah, we'll make it up.
It says it a lot.
It says...
Jesus says do not be deceived donot be deceived and right now
I'm looking around as aChristian I'm looking at the
world and I'm like everyone'sbeing deceived everyone all this

(04:11):
misalignment of truth all thesethings and I feel like again
this right here is the truth andeverything else doesn't feel
like truth at all so I feel likeeveryone's being deceived and
again that's why we're makingthis video so I think he's doing
a pretty good job succeeding inthe world.
Oh,

SPEAKER_01 (04:33):
this is the best he's ever done, probably, in the
world so far, I think.

SPEAKER_00 (04:39):
Oh, that's a good point.

SPEAKER_01 (04:40):
So far, I mean...

SPEAKER_00 (04:41):
I would even argue, I would say that...
The world is more sinful todaythan it's ever been.
It seems like we're okay.
We're all getting along and thisand that.
But think about this.
Think about people getting ontheir phones and looking at
pornography.
It's literally at the fingertipsof your hands.
And then you have all thesepeople writing about each other

(05:03):
on comments.
People are going to put commentson our things.
Yeah.
Hateful comments and things withhateful natures.
Yeah.
in essence that's not showing aholiness or righteousness or
goodness at all it's just thisother bit that's lashing out at
people and it keeps manifestingin us our friends family people
everywhere it's all over theplace and it just it's a very

(05:26):
sinful world and we're on thebrink of something snapping and
again that's why i uh really dobelieve like christ is coming
back soon um sooner than a lotof people think um

SPEAKER_01 (05:39):
so yeah he's succeeding in the world i would
say

SPEAKER_00 (05:41):
Yeah, definitely.
So spiritual attacks,encounters.

SPEAKER_01 (05:45):
Have we ever had any spiritual encounters?
The simple, very short answer tothat is yes.
Absolutely.
Absolutely, yes.
We want to do a few differentvideos or whatever, shows,
talking way more in full detail

SPEAKER_00 (06:05):
about all of them.
I want to disclose everything.

SPEAKER_01 (06:07):
We've...
we've had our share already.
And it's only been for me, it'sonly been a year of, you know,
learning about God and havinghim in my life.

SPEAKER_00 (06:18):
Yeah.
They say, uh, sometimes when youhave attacks like that, uh, it
means that, um, that basicallywhen you're a Christian, you're
more prone to being attackedbecause when you're following
along and when you're doing histune, walking your life to his
tune, when he sees other peoplewho aren't walking in that light

(06:39):
and they're trying to get outthe message like us, like the
good news about Christ Jesus andhim dying for everyone's sins.
He hates it.
He hates it.
Satan hates it.
He hates you guys too, but hehates us probably a little more.
Sorry, he's got more hate on us,but it's

SPEAKER_01 (06:53):
true.
It's true because Because wehave God in our lives, and he
can't stand it.
He can't stand that.
It's one of the worst things

SPEAKER_00 (07:02):
to him.
And he's trying to take everysingle person down with him
before he goes.
Anyone and everyone he can.
So Satan doesn't want you toworship him.
A lot of people will worshipSatan.
No, he doesn't want you toworship him.
He wants you to worshipyourselves, honestly.
Yeah, I know.
It's true.
Wow.
It's like we're still fightingwith this thing where we're–

(07:24):
We're worshiping ourselves.
We want to be our own God.
We don't want to be told what todo.

SPEAKER_01 (07:31):
Or worshiping literally anything or anyone
except for Jesus Christ.
Honestly.
Celebrities.
Anything you can think of.

SPEAKER_00 (07:42):
Oh my gosh.
The manifestation of theevilness and celebrities and
politicians.

SPEAKER_01 (07:47):
Anything but Jesus Christ is what he wants you to
be focusing on.
And worshiping.
I...
idolizing

SPEAKER_00 (07:54):
yes yes and a lot we like we idolize ourselves it's
just ourselves and you know wewant all this attention and we
want to have the nice cars andlike things and stuff like that
um but again he does manifest injust the celebrities and things
like that and um you have likepoliticians i'm sure you've seen
a video possibly or two of themdoing like sacrifices and things

(08:17):
demonic really demonic thingsand um you start to see that
there's an evil in this worldand it starts to manifest to
start to see through the cracksit's like it's like satan's
right in front of us and nobodyeveryone refuses to see it like
he is right there but y'all justnot y'all but a lot of people
out there just they refuse tosee i see it clear it's crystal

(08:39):
now Um, anyways, we have hadspiritual encounters.
Yes.
We're going to make a video anddisclose full detail because I
think you can get some use outof it and how, what we did and
how we overcame it because we'vehad a powerful one, a couple of
powerful ones.
And, um, it just, if anything,it grew in our faith more.

SPEAKER_01 (09:00):
And not even just spirit and not even evil, not
just evil spiritual encounters, but I, I had, um, An absolutely
beautiful encounter with God,multiple.
So we just want to share allthose things.
Yeah,

SPEAKER_00 (09:17):
absolutely.

SPEAKER_01 (09:20):
So I feel like we kind of talked about how he
operates a little bit.
Do you have any more that youwant to add on to that?

SPEAKER_00 (09:27):
How Satan

SPEAKER_01 (09:28):
operates, I should say.

SPEAKER_00 (09:29):
You know what?
I would say, you know...
For instance, I would say...
You know, I think we did apretty good job about that,
honestly.

SPEAKER_01 (09:41):
So, I mean, the next question we have, the last one
is, what is his ultimate goal?
So, to me, I really think it'sjust to divide everyone from
everyone.
And, again, make sure thatyou're worshiping or...

(10:04):
Idolizing anyone, anything otherthan Jesus Christ, who is Lord.
And also, I've heard a lot ofpeople, you know, saying one of
his ultimate goals is to splitup.
the fam split up your familyyour husband and your wives and

(10:28):
your kids and get into thefamily and just anything he can
do anything is especiallybecause another thing that satan
hates is when you do get marriedand you're married with God as
well in your, in your marriage.
Like we, we have, he hates it.
It's, it's one of the otherthings he just hates.

(10:49):
Cause you just made a covenantwith Jesus Christ.

SPEAKER_00 (10:52):
It's a big deal.

SPEAKER_01 (10:53):
And when you're married, you're with one person
and that's not how the worldworks.
is these days and if he can seepinto there and take the husband
away from wife wife away fromthe husband yeah and and just
get in yeah and and cause somesort of chaos inside of your

(11:13):
family

SPEAKER_00 (11:14):
that's

SPEAKER_01 (11:15):
one of the ultimate goals because it starts there
and it just trickles on down andkeeps on going i mean he does
other things as well but i ikind of i think that's a really
good good thought not a goodthought is but a good way to
think about how he also how heoperates that's one of the main

(11:36):
ways to operate um families aresupposed to be based on on the
bible and on god and having himin your life and walking with
him and if he can get throughthat then You know, you got to
hold strong.
When you get married, you haveto be even stronger against
Satan.
That's why I need Jesus in yourmarriage.

SPEAKER_00 (11:58):
Yeah, absolutely.
So I'm glad we have Christ inour lives.
And he's like the glue thatkeeps us together.
I

SPEAKER_01 (12:04):
don't

SPEAKER_00 (12:05):
have the statistic, but it's like upwards of like
80%.
to 90% families that have Christin their lives, their divorce
rates are non-existent.
Oh, it's so much

SPEAKER_01 (12:19):
lower.
We should get the stats for thatfor the next one because it's
very interesting.
And husbands and wives, familiesthat pray together stay
together.
It's a little silly littlequote, but it's true.
If you have God and you praytogether, you stay together.

SPEAKER_00 (12:38):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (12:38):
It's just...

SPEAKER_00 (12:41):
Another quick little note I was going to say is that
when you read this, there's somuch history in here.
And one common thing keepshappening over and over and over
again.
What happens is we're close withGod.
Man steps away from God and goestheir own way and society

(13:01):
crumbles.
It happens over and over andover in this book.
You step away from God And evilsteps in.
That's what's

SPEAKER_01 (13:11):
happening right

SPEAKER_00 (13:12):
now.
Satan's stepping in.
He's stepping in.
And more people have steppedaway from Christ in the past...
just 10-15 years or so back inthe 80s there was a lot more
Christians actually things wereactually prospering actually
doing fairly well actually butnow that people are stepping
away it's like society iscrumbling it's like again he's

(13:33):
like the glue to our marriagehe's the glue to society boo
that's a bar

SPEAKER_01 (13:37):
and so Satan takes that away takes it out of
schools takes it out ofeverything takes Jesus Christ
out of everything that hepossibly can and makes Jesus
offensive now for some reasonyeah you can't talk about jesus
you can't teach kids about jesusit's that's how that's another
way he operates

SPEAKER_00 (13:58):
make it make sense um so yeah i see that over and
over and uh again like you saidlike just dividing the families
um that's so huge that he'sdividing families um so yeah his
ultimate goal and you again youtouched on this earlier was just
Y'all, everything's adistraction.

(14:19):
Everything is a distractionbesides Jesus Christ.
Like he is the most importantthing.
He wants a relationship withyou.
He's there.
He loves you.
If you sit there and you pray, Ipromise you he's listening.
And it's just, honestly, it'slike, you know, when someone

(14:39):
prays, like sometimes people saythey pray to God, right?

UNKNOWN (14:43):
Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_00 (14:43):
what people do is they pray to God, but you
actually have to pray to theJudean Christian God, Jesus
Christ.
You have to actually...
direct your prayer towards thecorrect god because you can be a
god of this you can callanything a god and a lot of
people in television say god godgod but they need to direct that
god or your thought and youryour uh intentions towards the

(15:05):
correct god which is the onlygod um christ jesus

SPEAKER_01 (15:10):
and it kind of comes back to your focus and i kind of
want to not fully quote becausei you know not good with fully
remembering anything but um ourpastor at our church pastor
Pastor Wendy, she will say, it'snot a faith issue.
It's a focus issue.
You got to focus on Jesus.
We have faith all the time, every day and everything that we

(15:32):
do.
That's what she will say.
I have faith right now that thismic is working.
Hope

SPEAKER_00 (15:37):
it's recording right now.
But

SPEAKER_01 (15:38):
we need to focus on Jesus.
I really like that word fromher.
So I wanted to bring that upbecause it's focus.
Everything's a distraction.
You got to focus.
Again, especially for me, easiersaid than done.
You got to keep trying.

SPEAKER_00 (15:54):
Absolutely.
Yeah.
So hopefully someday you mightlook into this just a little
bit, even if we spark the seedand planted you just to look
into Jesus and his HolyScripture just even a little
bit.
I promise it will change yourlife like it's changed our
lives.
And Jesus Christ loves you.
He does.
He loves everyone, but he hatessin.

(16:16):
He

SPEAKER_01 (16:17):
does.

SPEAKER_00 (16:17):
He hates sin, but he loves the person.
And if you're going to continueto sin and do bad things that
are just like...
wicked things behind you know heknows your thoughts your actions
everything like that but ifyou're going to continue to do
that it separates you from himso um like kind of like a doctor
per se let's say you have likeyou're sick or something like
that how can a doctor heal youif you don't tell him what

(16:38):
you're sick of so if you were topray to jesus you say lord you
literally just just look humblyjust talk to him and say lord
jesus christ if you're out ifyou're there I want to know you.
I want to get to know you.
Please reveal yourself to me andhumbly say, I'm sorry.
I've done wrong.

(16:58):
I've done evil in this life.
And I want to do better.
And I want to know you.
Lord, if you're out there, please reveal yourself to me.
And in Jesus' name, amen.
If you pray that a couple oftimes a night, I promise you
something will change.
It definitely will.
It happened for me.
He changes your heart.
There's something in your heartthat he grabs and changes.

(17:21):
But also when you pray for thosethings, basically he kind of
reveals himself to you.
And you pay attention to thesigns and things like that i
promise you things will starthappening in your lives all of a
sudden christians might just bejumping in your life all of a
sudden just these little thingsyou pay attention to the little
signs he will reveal himself toyou um but anyways he's out
there he wants you to choose himand he loves you very very much

(17:43):
so anyways um I think that was apretty good second episode.
Yeah, it was good.
Anyways, we'll talk to you guysagain soon.
Like and subscribe, please.
You might be our secondsubscriber.
We don't have any subscribers orlikes yet.
I'm

SPEAKER_01 (18:00):
probably going to be our first subscriber.

SPEAKER_00 (18:05):
