This podcast episode will feature, “The Example of Christ’s Humility And Why Believers Should Follow the Examples of Christ's Humility.
Above and beyond, human comprehension, Jesus was God manifested in the flesh. Even though he was aware of his equality with the Godhead, he did not allow it to deter him from emptying himself to become a humble servant to do the will of the Father. Remarkably, when the Lord found himself in human form and likeness of a man, he stayed obedient even to the point of death.
In collaboration with the Father and Holy Spirit, the second of the Trinity willingness to take on the additional nature of a human being to die for the sins of humanity still perplexes me when I think about it (1 Timothy 3:16, Colossians 1:17-19). Moreover, Jesus Christ was not concerned about getting any accolades, he just entrusted himself unto the Father being Holy Spirit led to accomplish his mission while on earth.
Furthermore, after he fulfilled his mission on earth, the Father exalted him by giving him a name beyond any other name (Philippians 2:9, Hebrews 1:8). Unpretentiously, Jesus never asked to be exalted, it was given to him by the Father which exemplifies his humility even more. In addition, Jesus remained focused, obedient, and steadfast to accomplish his mission with selflessness, servitude, and sacrifice.
The implications of Christ humility for Christians is that they should follow his example to walk in humility with the willingness to put others before themselves even to the point of death if necessary. Believers, myself included, should implement Christ's example by walking in humility and obedience to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit with the willingness to be selfless, sacrificial, and supportive to others. This will conclude my podcast for today. May we all continue to grow in the knowledge grace and obedience of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God bless and take care everyone
