Dr. Logan starts this message by sharing about what it is like to date on a spiritual the time of this tape he had a daughter who was thinking of dating a young man. Dr. Logan shares how he coached them to date in a way that honors God and doesn't leave them with shame and guilt in their marriage. The second part of the message focuses on getting rid of the false gods in our lives that get our attention and time.

Dr. Logan teaches an entire class on handling stress. We are becoming more stressed in our current media addicted culture. We do not know how to unplug, and get along with God and rest. Stresses will come in your life, but you need to know how to empty your emotional bucket before it turns into depression.

What is your response when God leads you into the wilderness? The wilderness is painful, dry, and hot place and we can enter that through our hurts and pains in life. God is teaching you, but we can only learn when we have experienced pain or suffering. The good news is that God is always with you and helping you through it.

How can you handle suffering in a Godly way? Why does God allow us to go through hardships? Dr. Logan shares how God is producing in our life endurance, which comes from patiently enduring hardship with the right attitude. Then you will you be able to see how God can turn evil into good.

When your children reach adults age you want them to be responsible and godly man or woman who knows how to deal with life situations. We all need to know how to handle: hurts, bitterness, anger, wounds, struggles. Are they developing a relationship with God and their secret closet of prayer? For most adults they do not have a place to go to meet with God when life gets difficult.

Strongholds are what the enemy seeks to form and use in a believer's life. Strongholds are often viewed as a walled city but built on lies that are used by the enemy to destroy my life in behaviors, emotions, or reactions that are ungodly. Our most prominent strongholds are addictions. God wants to reveal the lies and destroy the strong, if I will hold onto the truth.

Parents you have a responsibility to protect your children from all attacks. The enemy would love to steal, kill and destroy your family (John 10:10). In order to do this he would need to bind the strong man to spoil his goods. God has given you the role of protecting your children.

God has given the parents roles in the family in order to protect, sustain, and bless them and their children for years to come. One of the main roles for that husband is to the protector of the family. Any sin that the husband is engaging in can and will be visited upon the wife and children. We must guard our family spiritually and physically from the enemy.

Anger often shows up when we have unmet expectations in marriage. We love to be in control and when someone else affects our plans, emotions, or desires then anger shows up. Anger can also come from bitterness. You can only be healthy as you forgive those who have wounded you. Dr. Logans shares more about getting rid of anger.

As your family ages so should what you expect of them to do. Often they are not talked about, but it is important to talk through these issues.

Communication is one of the major issues in marriage. Dr. Logan starts this conference on looking up verses on communication for couples. Some times talking is natural, but for others we need to work on it even when we don't feel sharing.

Jim Logan shares to a new group of students at Calvary Bible College in Kansas City about how God is perfecting that which concerns me. This is encouraging to students who have questions about their future. God leads us and directs us.

When fighting against the enemy, we are to fight in the spirit not according to the flesh. We need to recognize how the enemy attacks us.
