Albert Ramon joins the Jimbo and Jeff Podcast to talk about the weather, life lessons, and everything in between. Albert is the new chief meteorologist for a new, live, three-hour Chicago-based national primetime newscast on WGN. “News Nation,” which debuts Tuesday, September 1, 2020, will air daily from 8 to 11 pm ET.
Ramon moved to Chicago at the end of May 25, after a 10-year run at KVUE News in Austin, Texas. He joined the station in October of 2009 as the weekend morning and evening meteorologist. He was moved to weekdays and joined the “Daybreak” and “KVUE News Midday” team less than a year later. Ramon got his start as a meteorologist for KZTV in Corpus Christi, where he worked from 2005 to 2009.
