I interview Marc Scanlan who developed rhabdo after Initial Entry Training with the Florida State Guard. What makes his case intriguing is Marc is also a fitness trainer, highly skilled with kettlebells and he was well hydrated. Despite his superior physical fitness level and frequent hydration breaks (He was wearing a CamelBak hydration pack), he began showing the telltale signs of rhabdomyolysis. This interview highlights that even very athletic people can get rhabdo and dispels myths about this medical condition that everyone needs to know.
