Speaker 2 (00:17):
wow, it's been a long
time since we've been doing
this live, live, but that's okay, you know, can you hear me now,
david?
Speaker 1 (00:29):
Yeah, there we go.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
I don't know.
It's been a long time sinceyou've been doing this super
live, unedited, unfiltered, yourcameras teetering, I'm making
myself sound like a robot, andhere we are.
It is Friday, the 27th of.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
June, oh my.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
God, can you believe
it?
Yeah, you know.
Between the flags runningacross the stage of graduations
across America, from trafficbeing stopped in the middle of
some major metropolitan citiesburning American flags, burning
(01:07):
Israeli flags Heck, how aboutjust burning people what's been
going on for the last year and ahalf has been utterly nothing
other than drama.
Drama to the nth degree.
Why am I saying that?
Because here we are.
(01:29):
Supreme court has spoken, lawfare has come to an end and
the publicity of the crocketsand aocs of america are going by
the way of the dodo birds.
That's not kingship, with theonly kingship being the
democratic party in history.
It has been lawfare.
It has been drama in thestreets, specifically the
(01:54):
palestinian insanity that's beendelivered all over america,
chanting from the river to thesea, america, chanting from the
river to the sea, antifataGlobal.
It will be to death to Israel, death to America, death to Jews,
(02:17):
death to Christians, death toanyone that doesn't subscribe to
my way of thinking.
Hey, everybody, my name's StuartBrazell.
That's David Solomon.
It's an unapologetic discussion, unfiltered, hosted every week
Monday, wednesday, friday, noonEastern, with a candid
conversation on bold topics, asyou can see, whether we're
breaking down the latestheadlines, exploring pop culture
, debating politics or delvinginto complexities of modern life
(02:39):
.
Grab a seat, settle in.
This will prove to be anotherexciting, very live broadcast.
There is no pause button.
There is no edit.
This is happening now.
David, you were at a couple ofgraduations in the years past.
You're an adjunct professor, Ibelieve, at a very top-notch
(03:00):
university in the country calledCanada.
What do you got to say aboutall this insanity?
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Look, I was very
fortunate yesterday to attend my
youngest son's graduationyesterday at university and, in
typical fashion, which has nowbecome typically norm, the
speeches from a lot of thesedeuses are all about you know
humanity, inclusivity, you knowpast transgressions, and while
(03:30):
some of those statements are, look, I go with it, I think that
there's a lot of sense behindit.
I start to question thosesometimes when the school goes
beyond its mandate, and one ofthe things that drives me crazy
is this notion of free speech.
Everybody's allowed to havefree speech.
Convocation is not a politicaltheater, but we've heard
(03:54):
speeches from stages andstatements anti-government,
anti-this, anti-that, thesepublicity shots and all these
things, all in the name ofactivism, but in reality it's
bullshit, it's publicity stuntsand often people who are
standing up on that stage arejust looking to get a soundbite,
(04:16):
are looking to get their nameon social or whatever.
Yesterday, stuart, there wereno mortarboards on any of the
students, and I found that inother universities also, they're
not wearing anything on theirheads and I just couldn't put my
finger on why.
Why that change?
Well, one theory was people, instead of putting on their hats
(04:39):
, hey mom or hi dad, they wereputting on fuck Israel.
They were putting on politicaland the school said enough.
But that's not enough, becauseyesterday, as expected, as
students walked on that stageyesterday unfurling of the
Palestinian flags, wearingkeffiyahs and pride, and in one
(05:03):
case, one student wouldn't getoff the stage, just kept with
the flag.
And what caught my attention, finally, was people were yelling
Students, attendees wereyelling at this individual get
off the stage.
This wasn't the Jewish schoolpeople, this was a school of you
know.
(05:23):
There were 700 graduates there, thousands of people in the
crowd, and I got to tell youpeople were just fed up and you
saw the smirk on his face.
This was it, stuart.
You saw the smirk on his face.
Afterwards he got his publicitystunt.
Now to me, I and you know, stuart, I love when you go for
(05:45):
definitions, but hold off onthat for a minute please.
It's irrelevant that a kafia isnot an Arab symbol.
It's been appropriated, butlet's not go there.
The point of this whole thingis all of these things are
driving what?
Now there's a claim.
This is all about pro-Palestine, right, we're here to help the
(06:07):
Palestinians.
I want to know how unfurling aflag at a graduation is helping
Palestinians.
Oh, we're keeping their causein the limelight.
No, you're not.
You're not.
It's not working Because, if itwas, let's take October 8th
2023 as the demarcation date.
(06:28):
What have you moved?
What pawn have you advanced?
The only thing you've advancedis anti-Semitism Congratulations
.
You brought it to the forefrontand we now know how hateful you
are, so much so that you'vecreated an environment of hate
and of insecurity that the Trumpadministration just had to
award $94 million in securitygrants to Jewish organizations
(06:50):
in the US alone because ofraising Jewish anti-Semitism.
So what did you gain of allthis?
Is more racism.
You didn't help the Palestiniancause.
So what are you really doinghere?
What is all this?
Stopping traffic to have aprotest, stopping ambulances
from getting through and trafficsteward and I saw this with my
(07:11):
own eyes.
They stopped ambulances thatneed to get traffic steward, and
I saw this with my own eyes.
They stopped ambulances thatneed to get to the hospitals.
Is that going to help thePalestinian cause?
Shooting up a school,firebombing a synagogue,
attacking violently students inuniversities that Columbia and
Harvard have been guilty of notprotecting their students how
(07:33):
has this worked for the cause?
Israel's always being accused ofhaving terrible PR.
Stuart, I think that this grouphas got terrible PR.
Yeah, they've been all.
They were headline news for thelongest time and they still get
the headlines, but they're alsogetting the annoyance of the
general public.
People are getting fed up ofthese protests.
(07:55):
They're getting tired of thesethings because it's not really
what it's meant to be.
It isn't meant to be helpingpoor Palestinians.
Are you raising money for theircause?
Are you trying to make apolitical change?
You call out from the river tothe sea.
You call out all these things.
And you know there was a funnystory yesterday.
(08:15):
There was a family of four allwearing keffiyehs and the best
line came from the students thatwere around me.
It wasn't even from me.
I thought it, I didn't say it,but when they said it I laughed
out loud.
Notice how white the people arewith the keffiyehs.
And it was just.
(08:37):
The statement is where you gowith this is.
You're not creating positiveawareness for a Palestinian
cause.
You're just being disruptive.
You're creating these publicitystunts and all you're doing is
creating more hate, more noise.
But you're getting.
People are just getting fed up,stuart.
(08:58):
Really I don't know what's likein Florida, but people here are
.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
Yeah, floridaida is
simple if you're gonna start a
traffic jam in the middle of thestreet and protest, they can
run you over.
Florida has pretty much put itsline in the sand where the
insanity will not ensue and ifit does, you can run them over
literally stand your ground.
I am personally perplexed whypeople that are wearing these
keffirs don't even know thedefinition that they're
(09:28):
representing the unbeliever andthat would therefore mean they
would be destroyed and killed inline From the river to the sea.
Little Satan, big Satan.
I think we've finally come tothe determination that you know
if you're not with us, you'reagainst us and, frankly, I think
(09:48):
the Supreme Courts are finallydeciding they're with us and
that freedom of speech isn'tfreedom to hate and hate speech
isn't free speech.
These are all things that we'vegone over for the last five
years and, to touch on thistopic, it's hurtful.
I would say that if we sat hereon this broadcast and talked
(10:12):
about any other minority in 10%fashion of what's being
discussed about Israel and Jewsin America, there would be the
incitement of I couldn't evenbegin to tell you making Rodney
King in the LA riots look likeMary Poppinsville.
(10:33):
It is a time where common sensehas left even the smartest group
of people.
They were supposed to be NewYorkers.
Right, that was where the brasstacks of the United States lied
, and they've just electedsomeone who's a total socialist.
Now you've got to also put intoperspective that these people,
(10:53):
the youth, have really littlehope.
Why do they have little hope?
Because the governments thathave been there before have done
nothing for them.
By increasing the productivityof America, by bringing
manufacturing to America and byputting things straight versus
globalism will actually givethese kids something to look
(11:15):
forward to.
Sorry, it isn't that UnitedStates is better than Canada,
but United States has to takecare of United States a little
bit too.
And it's not that Canada is thedrain on the population, it's
not.
Canada is our second largesttrading partner, right, mexico
being our first, and we all livein North America, so we're not
(11:36):
enemies.
We all share borders.
But when there are lawlessnessgoing through the streets and
anti-Semitism going through thecollege campuses, through the
political alleys and through thenews, you have to understand
what's going on.
Isn't what's going to get goingon, because it needs to come to
(11:58):
an end.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
But here is the story
.
But you know, you said somereally great things, but this is
what has happened here, thesepublicity stunts.
You know, I found it remarkable, first of all, how many Muslim
students walked across the stageand didn't say a bloody word.
You know, and you could tellwhere a lot of them, you saw
(12:19):
where they were from right, based on last names, based on
you know, you spoke to them.
You find out that they're notthere.
They're from these so-calledcountries, that the enemies of
Israel, but they're not a lotand they stayed quiet.
They're not, they're not goingdown this road.
But it's interesting.
Who's picked up the cause?
And it's the haters.
And I'll give you one morepublic, a little little thing.
(12:43):
That is just really disgusting.
Okay, so the gay pride paradehere is here in Montreal, and
guess what?
They don't want Jews in theparade.
You heard that Jews cannot bethere because other other groups
don't want them to be part ofit, Other gay rights groups.
(13:04):
And so here's what you'vecreated.
What you've created with thisso-called pro-Palestinian,
wasn't it?
And this is what I'm trying tosay this publicity stunt was not
for Palestinians, it was toturn the hate on Jews in such a
way that we are going tomarginalize Jews to perpetuate
(13:28):
their cause.
There's no doubt, when you'resitting here and you're going to
bring in a guy like ZoharAmrani in New York, as you said,
he's only there, or one of themajor reasons he's there is
because of all the publicitystunts that have happened since
October 8th 2023.
It is not because he's somegenius.
(13:50):
It's that people have boughtinto this cause, this socialist,
communist, hate-ridden cause.
But in the meantime, all youpeople who think you're helping
Palestinians I haven't figuredout how, if you could tell me
how any of these protests, anyof these you know violent
attacks, any of these politicalappointees have helped
(14:13):
Palestinians.
I want to know Because if itwasn't for the Israelis and the
Americans, gazans would not begetting any food, because the UN
hasn't done anything and Hamaskeeps taking things away, and if
you don't have that wholehumanitarian fund by the US and
the Israelis.
So what did thesepro-Palestinian protesters do?
They did nothing.
(14:34):
They created more problems.
They didn't help.
So all of these stints ongraduations, all of these stunts
that you see in streets, all ofthese things that you're, this
violence that you're doing, isnot to help palestinians.
Let's get real.
It's all about perpetuatinghate.
(14:57):
And the test case is the Jews, because if we can get away with
the Jews, who's next?
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Yep.
David this has repeated itselfthroughout history, but we're
not going to go down that rabbithole, because you know I go
down that really quick.
All right, david, I'm going towrap it up and that brings this
episode this week to a close,Not an end to the problem, just
(15:25):
