SPEAKER_01 (00:01):
Hey everybody, guess what?
We're back.
It's Monday.
You know, I was really wantingto talk about how the Democrats
have lost their minds becauseyou know, Donald Trump once
again woke up and he didsomething wrong by renovating
the White House, even though youknow Obama spent millions of

(00:24):
dollars on a freaking basketballcourt, you know, but that was
okay.
But if Donald Trump wants toopen up and make the ballroom
bigger in the White House, forboden, forboden.
But we're gonna leave that alonetoday because apparently Donald
Trump has shown his once againhis disdain for Canada.
And if you, in case you missedit, if you're on the Canadian
side and you were in Ontario andyou saw the wonderful commercial

(00:48):
that Stuart will show you injust a moment, of Doug Ford, you
know, wanting to ram it down thethroats of Americans by misuse
of the quote of the RonaldReagan speech that he gave so
many years ago.
Donald Trump was unhappy.
Donald Trump was pissed atCanada.

(01:08):
Even though this was Donald, even though this was Doug Ford,
he decided because of that, he'scutting all trade negotiations
with Canada and slapping us withanother 10%.
And Canadians today are wakingup going, what the hell are we
going to do next?
That our leadership stinks?
Absolutely.
I will tell you right now, MarkKearney has said by July he was

(01:31):
gonna fix the the trade problemwith the United States.
We are end of October and we arein worse shape than we were
three months ago.
But was really Doug Ford, whatwas Doug Ford really doing?
Why did he do this?
And why did Donald Trump reallylose his mind?
Stuart has an opinion on this.
Stuart believes that DonaldTrump is right.

(01:53):
Welcome back to the RentNetwork, everybody.
I'm David Solomon.
He is Stuart Brisgale, the RantNetwork.
We're here every Monday,Wednesday, Friday, noon,
Eastern.
In case this is your first time, welcome.
We love to do these kind ofthings.
We love to rant about politics, culture, real life, modern life,
and all the craziness that isout there today.
So sit back, relax today, asonce again we go into the
absurdities of internationalrelations between Canada, the

(02:16):
little stinker market above theUnited States, and the big
behemoth known as Trumpville.
Stuart, let me ask you thisquestion.
Let me go that.
Oh, hey, come on.
If you can do this, I could dothis for once.
I rarely get to do this kind ofstuff.
So Donald Trump, Donald Trumptook serious offense, and so did
the Ronald Reagan, you know, foundation for the misuse, the

(02:39):
misquoting of Ronald Reagan'sspeech.
Now, it's one thing to sue, andit's one thing to ask for a
cease and desist, but to punish40 million Canadians because
Doug Ford's an idiot isunbelievable.
I love the president.

SPEAKER_02 (02:56):
Go ahead and explain yourself.
Let's first start this offappropriately.

SPEAKER_00 (03:01):
When someone says let's impose tariffs on foreign
imports, it looks like they'redoing the patriotic thing by
protecting American products andjobs.
And sometimes for a short whileit works, but only for a short
time.

SPEAKER_02 (03:17):
So I want you to follow the bouncing ball for
just a second.
That sounds like a verycompelling speech that Ronald
Reagan gave.
And I'm not gonna put up thefull transcript, but I guarantee
you, if you read the entiretranscript, you would understand

(03:38):
that the sound bite isn't whatthe speech said.
Because Reagan goes on to saythere is a time and place where
this should be done, and now isthe time, and there is the
place.
Why am I bringing this up?
Because the media stole asoundbite from the Reagan

(04:00):
library.
That actually has nothing to dowith any sitting past president
except the one whose name is onthe library, which is the Reagan
Library, controlled by theReagan family, who is not a fan
of Donald J.
Trump.
But because Mr.
Ford, the moron himself, decidedto take the sound bite because

(04:26):
he thought it was a good idea totry and poke the proverbial
bear, he is learning the lessonthat it's not only Donald Trump
that won't allow this insanity, but the Reagan Library is suing
the Ontario provincialgovernment.
And they are suing them on abasis of using intellectual

(04:48):
properties that belong toanother.
Now, why is Donald J.
Trump picking on Canada?
Well, he can pick on Canada totry and force Canada to do and
capitulate to what he wants.
What does Donald Trump want?
Well, let's sort of now putDonald, uh Doug Ford, the fat

(05:09):
fucker on the side, and let'smove over to what real
negotiations are about.
The United States is trying toforce two countries to
capitulate.
One is Russia.
Remember, we all talked aboutRussia.
He is off to Asia before toEurope, but what he accomplished

(05:31):
was Baltic states, Italy,European Union, Hungary, India,
Turkey have all backed off thepedal, proverbally, from Russian
oil.
Now, if you know the reason why,it's because the Ukraine war
that David and I so convenientlysaid it was happening months

(05:54):
before it actually happened, based off of what Russia did and
China did over a rare mineral, right, that has to do with
growing called ammonia nitrate.
Donald Trump is off in Asia.
What's he doing in Asia?
Making deals with every singlePacific rim country to force Qi

(06:18):
into coming to the table wherethe world benefits.
Now, the US benefits in general,we're the largest consumer on
the planet by a multiple.
Now, again, let's go back toDavid's statement.
Is that Trump itis or is thatTrump believement or Trump
derangement, right?

(06:39):
Donald Trump is literally usingMr.
Ford as a proverbial pawnbecause that's all he is in
Ontario.
By the way, the prime ministerof the largest province, the
largest GDP, it is theCalifornia of the United States,
okay, in Ontario.
But Windsor, who has had thepleasure of shipping minivans

(07:04):
where it all began into theUnited States by the millions,
is of having the spigot, curbed, and turned off.
And you know, that is basicallya large majority of Mr.
Ford's revenue to support a lotof socialist behavior, uh free

(07:25):
immigration hotels, uh, freefood at restaurants, free
Medicare.
So Mr.
Ford is looking out after hissocial programs that he is so
popularly encouraging tocontinue in the mega city of
Toronto.
It's not pushing back on theCanadian government to have

(07:46):
these immigration rules change.
No, it is paying for more andmore and more on the backs of
Canadians.
Now, that's not Donald Trump'scare in the world.
You're another country inCanada.
He could care less, the same wayCarney could give a crap about
anyone else other than himself.
This is what's been going on.
And what the point of this, inmy opinion, is how the media

(08:11):
grabs a soundbite, tries tocreate a story around a
soundbite, and fails to mentionthe entire story.
And as I have for five yearssaid, you cannot get the truth
without hearing the whole storyfrom both sides, and how
editorial media is destroyingthe media and the news.

(08:36):
There is no more news, itdoesn't exist.
So as much as David wants tocall me someone who believes in
Donald Trump, uh, I got myissues with the way he governs
and the way he runs the country, but he is the elected duly
president or the duly electedpresident of the United States,
with the majority of Americansbehind him, with a number that's

(09:00):
increasing day over day, whetherit's the restaurant employee as
a waitress, whether it's theauto worker, whether it's a
steel worker, whether it's theoil and gas worker, you know,
Democrats walk around statingthat the Democratic Party,
because I was corrected uhyesterday, it's not the Democrat

(09:20):
Party, it's a Democratic Partyof America, uh, is for the
working people.
Again, how the media is tryingto rewrite not only history,
it's rewriting the politicalsides of the population of the
country that people arerepresenting.

(09:42):
So, David, though you want me togo down one rabbit hole, I've
now popped my head up anotherrabbit hole because it's my
opinion, it's my opinion thatwhat Donald Trump, though
flawed, though has very rarelyexecuted a perfect plan, seems
to be still hitting singles andgetting runs at home.

(10:06):
And that, my friend, is a winfor everyone in America.
And just so that you know,Canada, though a great country
where I'm from, let's be honestwith each other.
40 million people with anegative GDP based off of
removing subsidies and tariffsthat it charges for foreign

(10:29):
products to come in would benear bankrupt economically.

SPEAKER_01 (10:33):
Okay, all right, all right, all right, all right.
You you've you've you've gone onlong enough.
You've gone on long enough, you've gone on way long enough,
and it and it's just fascinatingthe that I and and I know where
those sound bites come from.
They're great new Fox News, andI'm not against Fox News or or
whatever, but I heard thosesound bites, and I'm not Fox
News, dude.

(10:53):
And and I applaud you for forfor a lot of those bites.
But here's here's something.
First of all, Doug Ford's aconservative, not a socialist.
Um, Doug Ford is a is a is theleader of the conservative party
in Ontario.
He is a he has run on aconservative platform, not a
socialist platform.
And I will and I will tell youone thing though, one thing

(11:13):
about Ontario being the largestmarket.
Windsor is the rest belt, justlike on Ohio, Michigan uh area.
And let me tell you that theCanadian US auto industry were
interconnected in such a waythat it it was beneficial,
beneficial to Americans buyingcars.

(11:36):
Because if it wasn't, you wouldnot have put up a factory in
Canada over the years.
Because let's be realistic, nopresident in their right mind
would have shipped jobs toCanada, okay, in and not keep
them into the rust belt of theUnited States.
But that is what Donald Trump isdismantling, not just in Canada,
but from other productions tobrought wanting to the idea of

(11:58):
bringing it back to the US.
What I keep telling people isDonald Trump is the president of
the United States, not thepresident of Canada.
His goal is to protectAmericans, not Canadians.
And I totally understand that.
And that's his job.
The same way, you know, Canadashould have to protect Canada
and Mexico has to protect Mexicoand the like.
I am agreeing with that.
And Donald Trump is doing whathe believes is right for the

(12:21):
United States.
Period.
His statements have been flawed, have been disproven in some
cases in economics.
Some of his numbers areexaggerated.
There's a lot of bluster andwhatever.
This case, though, I I totallyam like marveled at the almost
childish response that DonaldTrump has given.

(12:43):
And it seems that, you know,Stuart, you just you you denied
his impact in a in the Canadianelection.
But let me tell you, DonaldTrump impacted the reelection in
Canada, recently in Ireland, this past weekend, uh, this past
week in the election, Australia, and other markets.
Because when a conservative runsin that market, they're saying

(13:06):
they're the next Donald Trump.
They've scared people, andconsequently, the left has won
elections in so many markets.
And what you see is the furtherpush to the left.
What Donald Trump, when DonaldTrump gets out there and screams
and does what he does, heemboldens the the left.
And he thinks that this is goodto create this kind of conflict

(13:31):
is good for America.
Maybe, but I gotta tell you,we're going down a dangerous
path because it just seems to bethat you when you're talking
about your largest tradingpartner, and yes, Canada has
atrocious, and I'll repeat thisagain, and I'll call atrocious
trade stuff with the UnitedStates when it comes to dairy

(13:52):
and eggs and whatever.
Let me remind you that this hasbeen in place with the United
States since the first US-Canadatrade agreement.
Not free trade agreement, tradeagreement.
We've never had free tradebetween US and Canada.
Never.
And in fact, our we have a veryprotectionist dairy system and
egg system.
It's awful, it's off the charts.

(14:13):
We're screwing ourselves inCanada because interprovincially
we have tariffs on each other.
We're stupid.
I'm not going to disagree withyou.
But to add another 10% onCanadian goods are unbelievable.
My stats are wrong since 2002.
How are my stats wrong?

SPEAKER_02 (14:31):
Canada became the second largest trading partner
in the US.

SPEAKER_01 (14:35):
Mexico became the largest under the previous.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_02 (14:42):
I let you guys because as of 2022, under the
previous United States movedCanada to the second position.

SPEAKER_01 (14:52):
So here's here's the thing that here's the thing that
amazes me.
You want to be right, you'reright.
Congratulations.
Applaud you.
You are right.
Your president is right.
Your president can do no wrong.
Your president is Teflon.
Your president has will dowhatever he wants.
The reality is at this point, Iyou know, the reality is, and
and and again, you love to dothis.
You love to prove you're smarterthan everybody.

(15:12):
No, Mexico is number one, Canadabecame number two.

SPEAKER_02 (15:15):
Here's the thing that's not because of Donald
Trump, that's because of Biden.
And again, you are developingthis Canadian derangement
syndrome, it seems.

SPEAKER_01 (15:24):
Can I finish my statement?
Because absolutely you went on.
You went on.
You told the whole world justnow that Donald Trump is a great
thing.

SPEAKER_02 (15:32):
No, I tell you, no, I keep getting singles.

SPEAKER_01 (15:36):
No, no, no, no, no.
Don't put words in the case.
I'm gonna tell you, Stuart,Stuart, I'm going to tell you
that while I agree with many ofthe policies that Donald Trump
has put forward, and go back,Stuart, in case you forget and
you didn't hear all the rantswe've done together.
I have applauded Donald Trump.
In this case, I don't.
In this case, I think what he'sdone here was send a message to

(15:57):
the whole world is that DonaldTrump is the guy with the ball
in the back.
Give me what I want, or I walkaway.
What he's what he's doingthough, and what he didn't, he's
not learnt as a lesson is thatwhen you take the when you start
pushing people away from the US,it happened to Obama with
Israel.
He ended up going, they ended updoing deals with Russia, India,

(16:20):
and with um with with withChina.
And it hurt in the relationshipand Brazil.

SPEAKER_02 (16:26):
It was called the BRIC country transaction.

SPEAKER_01 (16:29):
No, Stuart, no, no, no, Israel did not do a BRICS.
Israel went to China and India.
I'm talking about Israel.
They went out and they did thesethings.
And Donald Trump is trying tosay, I'm bigger, stronger, but
I'm gonna teach you a lesson.
Gotta tell you something.
This is gonna hurt at the end ofthe day.
If you want an you if you wantAmerican products to be

(16:54):
purchased as an ex an export,I'm telling you from my personal
experience, as someone who'sinvolved in this area, Americans
are having a harder timeexporting, not because of
reality, but because ofperception, and it's hurting
American exports.
And you'll see, you'll see, youwill see going into 2026 the

(17:16):
pain that's gonna be.
All these tariffs are lovely.

SPEAKER_02 (17:19):
All these tariffs are lovely.
Now, David, again, not trying tocorrect you, but I need to tell
you again.
Israel went to China, India,Russia, and Brazil, despite the
diplomatic friction and economicand military.
Brazil became a key buyer ofIsraeli weapons.

(17:41):
The the bilateral agreement cameas a result of the buying more
time trade.

SPEAKER_01 (17:47):
Stewart, ladies and gentlemen, allow me to say it

like this (17:50):
Stewart is always right.
Stewart doesn't like to wants toprove he's right.
He's done it, he's proven he'sright.
Congratulations, bravo.
What you're not paying attentionto, Stewart, is the fact that
your president is negotiating ina way to punish Canadians.
You know, I didn't see himpunish France.

(18:10):
Okay, let's punish speakers.
Macron went on TV to diss theUnited States in a disgusting
way.
Didn't do that to France.
He didn't do that to otherleaders, like Qatar.
You see these Arab leaders whoare promoting hate to the United

(18:31):
States, and then he elevatestheir status because it suits
him well in his negotiations.
But when it comes to Canada,Canada has yet to do anything
right.

SPEAKER_02 (18:40):
So I'm gonna give you my little prediction, David,
on why Donald Trump is smackingMr.
Kearney around.
And you want to know something?
I'm gonna give you theconclusion.
He wants to force Canada onincreasing tariffs against
China.
He wants to have Canada increasetariffs against and and punitive

(19:04):
against Russia.
And I'm willing to bet you 50cents, the God, the globalist
prime minister of Canada withthree passports and no economic
data provided on his personalreturns, is saying no to Donald
Trump.
And the whole purpose of theReagan ad is merely the public

(19:24):
smear that he gets to go andneedle Carney in the eye.
And that is the the way in whichCarney is going to now be forced
to kick the ring.
I'll tell you something.
I don't I'll tell you the first.
It's a prediction.
It's a prediction.
I'll give you, I'll tell youwhat.
I'll tell you what.
Do you want to wage theStarbucks coffees?
We got one on both sides of theborder.

SPEAKER_01 (19:46):
Is he trying to force Canada into relationships
with China and Russia?
You're probably right.
And I'll give you that muchbecause I don't think that
Carney is a Carney has proven tobe an economic boob.
He's not, he's everybody praisedhim as a god, and he has hurt
us, and then we're about to geta uh a um a budget, by the way,

(20:08):
full of holes.
He promised us long-term gainbut short-term pain.
Sound like somebody else, youknow?
I've heard this before.
We've been going at this now.
This is our 11th year with aliberal government that has done
nothing but hurt us.
Our GDP is dropping like flies, not because of the United
States, it's because we areincompetent in government when

(20:29):
it comes up to all these things.
Here's the catch, Stuart.
Doug Ford ran an ad.
Doug Ford doesn't like MarkCarney.

SPEAKER_02 (20:39):
Who likes Mark Carney?
I don't know how we got elected,David.
If Canadians are as logical andnormal as you are, how did the
guy get elected?

SPEAKER_01 (20:47):
I mean, okay, one last point.
How is Mamghani gonna getelected in New York?
I don't believe he's gonna getelected.
We got one last point.
I'm gonna throw at you.
Who's who's not gonna getelected?
Mamdani, God help us.
I got one more point.
Let me let me finish this withyou.
Hold on.

SPEAKER_02 (21:02):
I want you to finish after this point because this
point's gonna help you.
The final reason why DonaldTrump is also picking on Canada
has to do with Mark Carney'sposition on Israel and the
Middle East.
Canada, the proverbial where thegood guys turned its blind eye

(21:25):
against Israel by what?
Acknowledging what, David?

SPEAKER_01 (21:30):
Stuart, but uh explain to me why he didn't
punish the UK, France, Spain,Ireland, all these other fart
countries who did the samething.
I don't heard that argument,I've heard that argument, and I
said, okay, I get it, but whydidn't he beat up everybody
else?

(21:50):
All the Spain, Ireland,Portugal, Belgium, all these
other countries didn't get thebeatdown that Canada got.
Even Mexico supported aPalestinian state, and
Scheinbaum, who has Jewishroots, didn't get this kind of
beatdown.

(22:10):
So I don't understand that part.
But let's wrap this up becausewe're way over time, ladies and
gentlemen.
We had fun, but we had fun.
But look, we had fun, there's nodoubt.
And by the way, I uh Stuart andI love picking on each other.
So for those of you who've neverbeen here and wonder, do they
hate each other?
We love each other, we're likebrothers, we do this all the
time.
Siskel and Ebert of the modernage.
Siskel and Ebert, you know, likeuh what were the two older

(22:32):
Muppets?
Uh those guys, uh Waldorf and uhI forgot.
Anyways, doesn't matter.
Stuart, last comment to you.
Where does the how does how witha 2026 election coming up and
you review the 2026 in yourUSMCA next year?
It's the first review.
How does this end?

(22:52):
How does Canada and US end thisCanada battle?

SPEAKER_02 (22:56):
I told you my prediction.
Canada is at some point in thenext 60 days going to impose
additional tariffs on China ifshe doesn't capitulate with
normalizing relations with theworld, and if it doesn't somehow
sanction Russia and reversecourse on its position on

(23:17):
Israel.
If it does two of those threethings, Trump will miraculously
forgive Ford and Kearney and betheir best friend yet again.
But David, I'm telling you, markmy words, this is specifically
being done because he can makefun of Carney and pick on Carney

(23:37):
because he's a weakinvertebrate.
David, I'm throwing the ball toyou.

SPEAKER_01 (23:42):
Okay, well, Stuart just cut me off with the music.
So, ladies and gentlemen, that'sit.

SPEAKER_02 (23:46):
The music gonna stop, David.
You can cab it again.
I can turn it on and off.

SPEAKER_01 (23:51):
The thing is, folks, I I let let's see.
By the way, Carney is meeting Gtoday.
Let's see what the heck happens.
But quite frankly, thosecrickets that you hear, that's
that's the results that MarkCarney has brought to Canadians.
We will have uh there's talkhere of again of another
election.
People are very, very unhappy inCanada right now.

(24:13):
And yes, the finger and and themedia, by the way, has lambasted
the crap out of Trump here.
Um, but real, let's get real, folks.
We have no leadership in thiscountry.
It is frightening.
It's it's and I've talked to, bythe way, just to wrap it up
earlier.
I've talked to liberals, I'vetalked to liberals, and even
they're kind of scratching theirhead, going, we don't know where
this is going.
Ladies and gentlemen, that's itfor another Monday edition of

(24:35):
the Rant Network.
We'll catch you on Wednesday.
