SPEAKER_00 (00:08):
Pump day.
My favorite day.
Just gotta get over this pump.
Maybe a lump or two.
All right.
Welcome back, everybody, to theRent Network.
I'm Stuart Brisgell, and that'sDavid Solomon.
If you haven't figured it outfor the last five years, every
Monday, Wednesday, Friday noonEastern, David and I sort of lay
(00:31):
it all out on the line in thiswonderful podcast called The
Rent Network that we also parseup to little videos that we post
all over the place.
Like us, love us, follow us.
It's definitely a lot of fun.
All right.
Today we've got somethingspecial.
We're talking about a state thatturned a governor into a
(00:54):
governor wanting to be a vicepresident that turned the
government in mismanagement intoan Olympic sport.
Minnesota, baby.
A state that used to be knownfor its lakes, its hockey,
politely passive-aggressivepeople.
(01:16):
Today is known as Sharia law andone of the largest frauds
scandals in U.S.
history.
And before you go in fat checkand melt down, this is not just
about Tim Waltz personallystealing money, because we don't
know if he did or didn't,because there's no evidence of
(01:38):
that yet.
Maybe there is, maybe thereisn't.
Is there something there?
I don't know.
This is about leadershipoversight and unbelievable
ability of the government tolook directly at red flags.
And let me tell you something.
We didn't notice them.
And you know who else didn'tnotice them?
ABC, MBC, CNN, MSNBC.
(02:01):
And if you know how your dogpretends like he didn't hear you
say drop that, or even if itdid, it ignored you, or it broke
wind and quietly left the room, that's Minnesota state
oversight.
It passed gas, left it in theroom, and instead of telling
you, hey man, we may have aproblem, you know, it's let's
(02:24):
sock it to the taxpayer formillions and millions, and may
even be billions of dollars.
And this Minnesota, you know, scandal is one that isn't being
paraded, but should be like abuffet for the media, for all
those government hawks that aretrying to pick on Donald J.
(02:45):
Trump's administration, but foryears are not even paying
attention.
So feeding the future scandal, aquarter billion dollars in just
one part of this federalinvestigation that's involving
indictments.
Auditors are screaming aboutthis for years, from stabilizing
housing fraud, Medicare billing, nonprofit oversight failures.
(03:11):
You know, it's been like uh aschmorgesborg of just
everything.
David, I know you've beenfollowing this a little closer
than me, but I figured I'd I'dpass you off with this.
The former candidate for vicepresident that was underneath
(03:32):
the hyena, you're trying to tellme they didn't see there was a
something, something there.
I just wanted to rub the genie.
Or was it or was it rubbing orwas it rubbing someone's ego?
SPEAKER_01 (03:44):
David, you know
what, Stuart?
It's what's amazing isapparently in back in 2024, they
actually warned the Harriscampaign.
There might be something poopyhere in Minnesota, but they
decided to overlook it becausegender politics, identity
politics, all that matters muchmore.
And if you watch what's goingon, you shouldn't be surprised.
(04:08):
They bury the Hunter laptop, butthey pushed the narrative about
Russia collusion.
They've buried story afterstory, they did they let Hillary
Clinton's story go through.
She basically committed treason.
Media let it go.
So we shouldn't be surprisedthat the mass media has once
again let this story just fall, not only fall under the rug, but
(04:29):
let not only talk about TimWaltz, but also not even to
refer to the Somalian, you know, the Somalians who are involved
in this.
They won't even call it by name.
This is what we've become.
It's all about partisan media.
We are seeing this again.
We cannot make the Dems, theliberals, the Progressives, look
bad.
(04:50):
That is now the mantra from thebig three.
Now I'm surprised it's CBSsimply because of I know who's
running, you know, Barry Weissrunning the news network.
She should be, she said she thisis not gonna happen.
I'm trying to figure out how itdid happen, but I'm not
surprised from ABC or even moreso from NBC.
This doesn't surprise me,Stuart, because this is all
(05:12):
about giving a pass.
Because if you put the lightnegatively on any Democrat, it
in their deranged minds, itmakes Donald Trump and the
Republicans look good.
There was a crime committedhere, Stuart.
It's an alleged crime, allright.
Tim Waltz, who apparentlyallegedly wasn't knew what was
(05:33):
going on under his watch, andapparently whistleblowers were
told to stay away.
They kept them away.
There was a whole slew of thingsthat are coming out, but again,
the media doesn't want you toknow this because it's tampon
Tim.
The guy who stood up on a stagealmost like the Steve Ballmer
jumping up and down, excitedbecause you know he's gonna be
(05:53):
the vice president of the UnitedStates.
That to him, putting tampons inmen's bathrooms mattered more
than saving hundreds of millionsof dollars for his state that
should have gone to people whotruly deserve the money.
Minnesota's not in a position ofeconomic strength, and yet once
again, once again, that doesn'tmatter.
He has been, you know, when hewas questioned and he takes
(06:17):
responsibility, his answer is,well, I'll take responsibility
for putting people in jail.
SPEAKER_00 (06:24):
Hey Tim, you should
be wearing one of those orange
suits right now.
Hey David, did you ever noticegovernment only discovers fraud
after the fraudsters finishtheir world tour?
It's like running a retirementplan for criminals.
Fraudsters buy cars, houses, boats, probably a hot tub shaped
(06:44):
like Minnesota, and the stategoes, wait, seems like something
off.
No kidding.
When someone's buyingLamborghinis, Lamborghini lists
uh for school meal providers andjobs that maybe should follow up
a follow-up question.
I don't know, David.
SPEAKER_01 (07:00):
You know what?
But Stuart, he went he went onestep further in this interview
with Kristen Walker.
He was like a quote, I will noteit's not just Somalis.
Minnesota's a generous state,Minnesota's a prosperous state,
a well-run state.
We're a triple-A bond rated, butthat attracts criminals.
Those people are going to jail.
We're going to do everything wecan, but to demonize an entire
community on the actions of afew, it's lazy.
No, Tim, you know what that is?
(07:21):
That's your identity politics atwork here.
You know, it's again refusing tocall a spade a spade.
It's refusing, you're refusingto take the accountability.
It's you once again, once againpointing the finger where it
shouldn't it isn't beingpointed.
It's pointed at you, buddy.
You are the one who outed andcalled out Trump for not being
(07:43):
responsible and accountable.
And then when you do it, hey, itain't me.
We're gonna prosecute thecriminals that did it.
SPEAKER_00 (07:49):
Hey John David, do
you want to know what the
Minnesota government jobinterview for the accountability
department?
Do you have any oversightexperience?
Nope.
Do you have any financialtraining?
Nope.
Do you know how to read aspreadsheet?
Absolutely not.
Great, you're hired.
Here's 250 million dollars tomanage.
That's how it works inMinnesota.
(08:11):
That's exactly how Tim Walls wastrying to go into the vice
presidency.
SPEAKER_01 (08:15):
Look, it's not just
it's not just there, okay?
And unfortunately, like I'm notgonna just single out Tim Waltz
and say he's the only one.
But in this case, ladies andgentlemen, your former stops
with him.
Your former VP candidate, andthis is what is irking me,
right?
You've been lying.
The media has been burying thesestories because there's no
interest in exposing theDemocrats for what they are
(08:38):
fraudsters, they are liars andthey're cheaters.
I'm not saying they're noRepublicans who do it, but you
take extreme measures to push anarrative that the Republicans
and the GOP are out to screw theAmerican population.
But when an American when aDemocrat is caught with the
fingers and the hands in thecookie jar, you suddenly turn a
(08:59):
blind eye.
This is what's happening.
You're doing a disservice to thepeople of Minnesota and the
United States.
You lied, you lied, you lied.
And I, you know, and whenPresident Trump sued the ass off
of ABC and they all ran aroundgoing, oh no, no, no, how dare
he do that?
We're the media.
(09:19):
Hey, you're not the mediapeople, you're a propaganda
machine for the DemocraticParty.
That's all you are.
You've lost your reputation as astatus of being reliable and
truthful.
And Stuart will bring WalterCronkite back to show his age,
but that's irrelevant in todayin 2025 because most people have
no clue who Walter Cronkite isand what it means to have
(09:41):
reliable news.
What you want to do is you wantto put out their narratives that
just bitch about one side.
But when the your side, yourteam, got caught, you're not
firing the coach, you're justprompt, you're just pushing the
narrative somewhere else.
Tim Waltz is guilty.
He has been guilty in the KamalaHarris campaign of lying about
(10:03):
his background, and you buriedit.
He was lying about what hereally stands for, and you went
with it.
When he talked about what hedoes for transgender and
Minnesota's the state, what itdoes, you put that on a pedestal
as if that was the mostimportant thing.
But for$300 million in stolenfunds, that isn't important.
SPEAKER_00 (10:24):
Well, okay, David,
let's let's break this down.
Here is what he's allegedlybeing accused of the largest
COVID era meal fraud in history, right?
A nonprofit feeding our future,FOF,$250 million.
Mass indictments and convictionson dozens of people.
(10:46):
Connections with the fraud havealready taken place.
Internal oversight, there wasnone at the MDE.
The state level governor's auditshowed complete mismanagement,
and Waltz's office and hislieutenant governor put a blind
eye.
Other state programs beyond themeals, and then finally,
(11:07):
finally, congressional scrutiny.
Subpoenas are coming for you,Tim.
You forgot one more.
What one?
SPEAKER_01 (11:16):
During Black Lives
Matter.
Oh let Minnesota burn.
And no one called out when hewas called out on that.
Oh, I made a mistake.
And that was it.
It's over.
It's over.
It's over.
It's fascinating to see who getscrucified and who does not.
(11:38):
It's fascinating to see who getsa pass and who does not.
It is just part and parcel ofthe fact that Tim Waltz
basically defrauded his statewith$300 million.
Now you're gonna say, no, it'snot him, it's not him.
Guys, he knew about it.
He put nothing in place.
And when that smoke clears, andfinally you actually do you know
(11:59):
dig it up, this alleged uh theseallegations, whatever you'll
see.
But what you're doing instead isbearing it.
You don't want it exposed.
That Kamala Harris's VPcandidate can't be guilty of
anything.
No Democrat is guilty ofanything, right?
Zoran Mamdani gets elected intoas a we're not talking about
(12:20):
Zoran Mandani, we're talkingabout Tim Waltz.
You're getting off topic.
Stuart, Stuart.
I have to point it out.
Stuart, you're thank you forpointing out a falsehood.
You're just like the media.
When Zoran Mamdani got elected, you changed the narrative.
Tim Waltz is caught, you changedthe narrative.
Do you not see the pattern ofchanging the pattern?
(12:41):
But if this was Governor Abbott,or if this was DeSantis, or if
this was some other Republican, this would be frontline news.
Every news media would grab inthe liberal media would spend 47
out of 60 minutes, because thereare a few minutes of
commercials, just talking aboutthis one Republican governor
who's guilty of sin, withouteven forget the allegations.
(13:04):
This is media today's story.
And Tim Wall should be voted outin the next election or thrown
out on his ass for lying to thepeople.
SPEAKER_00 (13:13):
Listen, the
Minnesota fraud alarm went off
and they just hit the snoozebutton.
But more importantly, other thanhitting the snooze button, going
back to your George Floyd May2020, 1,500 buildings were
looted or burned.
The third police department wasoverrunned and burned down, and
(13:33):
there's an estimated half abillion dollars of damage.
And these fuckers are still hungup on January 6th.
Yes.
I'm sorry, David.
Let's bring this home.
Let's bring this home.
SPEAKER_01 (13:47):
Let's let's bring
this home.
How many, how many people losttheir jobs, but Tim Waltz is
still there?
Because that's the problem.
Tim Waltz, you can't touch him.
He's Teflon.
Doesn't make sense to me.
SPEAKER_00 (14:02):
Let's bring this
home, brother.
Fraud isn't just a scandal.
It's not just politicalfootball.
It's not just a headline fortalk shows.
Fraud is a symptom of governmentthat's grown beyond its ability
to manage itself.
Minnesota's not alone.
All these left cuckoo bananastates are just like it.
(14:23):
It's a warning of what's goingto happen with your taxpayer
dollars.
It's a warning about lack ofoversight because it's optional.
It's a warning about whathappens when leaders believe
they can just lie about it, haveno accountability.
Will anything change?
That's trillions of dollars ofquestions.
Remember, they promised reform, they promised audits, and they
(14:46):
had press conferences, right?
What is the difference?
Trump's taken office, it's beennine months.
The guy has turned everything onthe head, has put light where
there is darkness.
And you are correct, David.
The media has no shame.
They cannot, they will not.
And I'll give you the last wordbefore I play our wonderful
(15:07):
music.
Guess that's the last word.
SPEAKER_01 (15:12):
That's the sound
you're going to hear from the
media on the left when it comesto Tim Waltz.
SPEAKER_00 (15:19):
All right,
everybody.
That brings this episode to aclose.
Hope day is over.
