Speaker 1 (00:02):
You know it's crazy because Stuart likes to call
this thing called Groundhog Dayand he plays Groundhog Day all
the time, over and over again.
What do I mean by the GroundhogDay?
I could do a whole thing calledLefty's Gone Bat Bleep Crazy.
Now, that's a page out ofAustralia, one of the, as Aaron
Mullen used to do it and othersdid it and they still do it.

(00:23):
And if you go on YouTube youcan find these kinds of episodes
where the left has gone crazyand batshit crazy and it
continues to be batshit crazy.
And last week it just provedpositive of how the left, how
Democrats, these so-called.
You know they are the ones whohave arrogantly told you that

(00:44):
they are better educated, thatthey're better at everything,
they know better than you.
They continue to offend you,but they really want to tell you
that you need to vote for thembecause they know how to act,
they know how to be, they arethe ultimate people.
And yet when they throw one oftheir childish hissy fits, it's

(01:06):
all in the name of democracy.
It's not in anything more thanthat, because if you think that
Democrats have any facts behindwhat they're standing for lately
, it's all pipe dream, everybody.
Welcome back to the Rant Network.
I'm David Salm, he is StuartBriscoe.
We are the Rant Network, wherewe do every Monday, wednesday,
friday these kinds of rants.
We talk about politics, modernlife, society and so much more.

(01:27):
It's all about the absurditiesand we like to poke fun at it,
but we also like to get peopleto start thinking, going what
the hell is wrong?
Because the media only wants topaint one side of a picture, we
find ourselves painting theother to create some sort of
balance in life that doesn'treally exist.
So sit back, folks, as we getinto another crazy moment, using

(01:47):
the Democrats as an example inthe great state of Texas.
Stuart, what's wrong with these?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Dems.
You know, I got to tell you itis Groundhog Day.
You know, redistricting in theUnited States has been gone on
every decade since the 60s.
The Democrats really authoredthis.
They really created the basisand fought for the right to

(02:19):
redistrict because they feltthat it wasn't fair.
And that's the early origins ofgerrymandering, which is
basically what in 1812, GovernorElbridge came up with and, as
it goes to the mid-20th century,it became a civil rights issue

(02:42):
where redistricting was allabout giving rights.
The modern era redistrictingthe battle has intensified and
it's about the red map anddominating the red map, and the
Democrats responded aggressivelywith countermeasures and suits
across the board.

(03:04):
The implications ofgerrymandering is insane, right,
no one's going to argue that.
But this has been going on overand over and over, again and
again.
The modern history really isthe 60s, 70s, 2010s, 2020s, but
the democrats would have youbelieve.
This is a new threat ofdemocracy and we must fight,

(03:30):
fight, fight.
We must obstruct, we must dothis, we must do that, you know.
But I think the democratsfinally lost their marbles,
because they are the cornerstoneof doing this.
They are the party who likes togerrymander.
They are the ones that like tobreak the rules, blame the

(03:52):
others, tax the rich, and whilethey drive away in their Rolls
Royces, their chauffeuredlimousines and their private
planes, you know, are theRepublicans any better?
No, not at all.
But they don't claim to bethose types of people.
They claim to be statesmen.
They claim to be politicians.

(04:14):
They don't avoid the questionover trading, like Nancy Pelosi.
There's nothing, nothing here.
There's nothing, nothing here.
It's a nothing.
My husband does the trading.
I don't do the trading.
I don't go out for dinnerduring covid.
No, no, no.
You can't do this.
And you know, here is asquirrelly california governor
hanging out in some swankyrestaurant.

(04:36):
You know, I have just here, hadenough of groundhog day.
I nearly had enough of peopletrying to stay free Palestine.
I nearly had enough of the lefttaking a knee and being
anti-police.
I nearly had enough of everysingle politician that thinks an

(04:57):
open border is a free country.
I nearly have had enough overthem trying to say they are the
party of the people when in factthey are not.
They are the party of everyother people except the people
that elected them into office.
I nearly had enough for theeducation system to be turned on

(05:18):
its head, teachers being abusedand used like toilet paper
because they have no rights.
Yes, teachers and teachers aremanipulated with curriculums
that make no sense whatsoever.
I believe in the United Statesof America, which is a republic.

(05:39):
It's a republic, you know.
Most of our viewers don't evenunderstand what a republic is.
David, now you live in Canada.
You don't have a republic, nope, nope.
And currently, with Carney andlittle baby Trudeau, it seems to

(06:00):
be more of like kings andqueens than it is elected
officials.
Every jurisdiction in the UnitedStates, divided by states, is
an individual state operatingunder the general skeleton of
the rules.
But you know what Rules differfrom state to state to state and

(06:25):
have grown and evolved goneleft, gone right, swung in the
center throughout history.
The left would have you believe.
We're here, we're thegovernment, we're here to help,
not really understanding.
That is code for communism, youknow.
In Canada it's the code forsocialism.

(06:45):
A failed health program, afailed dental program, a failed
medical program, a failed taxprogram.
And you know what?
Little Carney got tossed to thewolves.
He thought he would outsmartthe Tangerang man, the tackle
man, and he got crushed like alittle little kid.

(07:08):
But in the United States, I amtired, I am over it.
The groundhog day of the left.
Crying out is just an upset.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
You know, stuart, you love to pick on Canada, but
Canada is totally irrelevant inthis conversation because the
left in the United States isjust a bunch of bozos.
And I'll give you an example ofwhat I mean by a bunch of bozos
, my friend, because what wedidn't talk about last week
which was really unfortunate, but you know, we had other, more
important things to talk aboutwas this ad campaign Sweeney, a

(07:48):
blonde, blue-eyed, white womandoing a jeans ad for American
Eagle.
The left lost their mind.
This is an article out of theLos Angeles Magazine.
Look what it says Facingbacklash, controversial actress
has already created majorcontroversy online.
And like what is the controversy?
People, because she says SidneySweeney has great jeans.

(08:10):
Accusing of nazi tendencies, accusing of aryan statements
because she's blonde andblue-eyed.
What the left wants you tobelieve is that boys cannot have
imaginations, that peopleshould not be attracted to a
beautiful person, that abeautiful woman should not be

(08:32):
doing these kinds of ads, and ablonde, blue-eyed only only
screams of Nazism.
Now, how odd, stuart, is this?
Because when Beyonce did herLevi's commercial and this is
just only part of it, she'sblonde, buxom, beautiful,

(08:56):
attractive this was okay.
This was not screaming Nazism, but this does.
And this, ladies and gentlemen,is what blows my mind.
When you have an and by the by,by the by by the by, she's a
registered Republican.
Now we get it.

(09:18):
Now we understand that the leftcannot handle itself.
Stuart Bill Maher, who isbecoming more of a centrist in
his attitude, he doesn't likeDonald Trump.
We've said it.
Last week he called out DonaldTrump but he said listen, he's
right.
Even he said are you out ofyour freaking mind?
You guys on the left have takenthese things so far off, so far

(09:44):
off, that it no longer makesany sense that a young 18,
16-year-old will be looking atSidney Sweeney.
The boy will go, wow, she'sbeautiful.
And a woman might say you knowwhat?
Those are nice jeans, that'sokay, but we have lost it
because she's said allegedly, this is the Elon Musk arm in the

(10:04):
air business all over again.
And if I look at anyconventional liberal media, they
, the backlash and the shit thatthey flung in this ad is on off
the charts.
The left can do no wrong.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
The right can only be wrong you know, david, I was
watching some period, a wife thelast couple of days and I'm
gonna tell you what was of notethe thought that hollywood wants
to try and train the frameworkof history by rebranding with

(10:41):
different stars.
You know like from cartooncharacters to Marvel comics to
regular.
You know 18th century New Yorkon what people were like in that
era.
You know this was a time wherethere was slavery in the United

(11:02):
States.
There was no question about adivisiveness over men versus
women and again, black versuswhite.
This is part of the history, not only in the United States,
not only in Canada, but in everyEuropean country, and it's a
sad moment in history, butnevertheless it's our history

(11:25):
all the same, that brought ushere today.
You know, by trying to changehistory and trying to change the
statues of people that didwhatever they did, it's
understandable to a certainextent and that educating people

(11:45):
what some people did in thisperiod versus trying to rewrite
history.
You know neo-nazism refers toadolf hitler and 11 million
massacred people and about 22million dead.
There is one Holocaust, that'sit.
That's neo-Nazis.

(12:07):
That began in the late 1920s,emerged in the 1930s and became
a world war.
Politicians are gross anddisgusting and I got to tell you
, david, it's Groundhog Day.
You know, every single day youand I come to this podcast and
you know what we try in thegreen room to come up with some

(12:29):
new spin and we always end upback at the same corner.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
But that's what's going on, stuart.
What we're seeing right now, today, is that people on the
left are trying the same thingover and over again, trying to
try to create some sort ofchange.
It's not working.
And if you actually do watchand CNN had to admit it Trump is
right now one of the mostinfluential presidents since the

(12:54):
1930s.
Cnn admitted it.
But the left is going to findits craziness.
The left is protected.
You brought up Nancy Pelosi withthe.
She was interviewed by JakeTapper, who she basically lost
her mind over.
How dare you, how dare you talkto me like that?
I'm the great Nancy Pelosi.
You've got no humility.

(13:15):
You know you're on the left andyou believe you're always right
.
I know what's better.
And from Chuck Schumer to AkeemJeffries to the rest of them,
the attitude is the same.
We're going to derail Americato win an election.
It has nothing to do with doingwhat's right.
And he continues to be the MOof the Democratic Party, but the

(13:36):
problem is that the leftcontinues to pull.
Look, they learned nothing,stuart.
Disney ran a whole bunch ofmovies with this woke lefty
philosophy.
Failed, you know.
I think Michael Jordan said itbest when was asked why doesn't
he talk about his politics.
You know this, that, and hesays because even Republicans

(13:56):
buy sneakers, and that's thereality is that people are like
I don't need to make everythinga political statement.
On Friday night I had dinnerwith a couple from New Jersey
wonderful people.
They said they're independents.
I said are there stillindependents in the United
States?
He said yes, we have a lot morethan you can imagine.
We don't want to be pigeonholedleft, right, but we also don't

(14:17):
agree with all what's going onthe left, but we also don't
agree with what's going on theright.
Okay, perfect, awesome.
But when I brought up some ofthe, we talked about some of the
craziness of the left and theseare former card-carrying
Democrats their answer was wecannot associate ourselves with
this kind of extreme.
It's gone off the rails.
And while they said they didn'tvote for Kamala Harris okay,

(14:40):
they were really upset becausethey said they couldn't believe
what has become of the left, theDemocratic Party and so on.
So I'm not surprised, stuart, that people are like fed up.
The problem is the people whocontrol the message still want
to drive home that the onlysolution to America is the left.
It's unbelievable, stuart.

(15:02):
Final word to you, my friend,my word is David, it's Groundhog
Day, and let's start putting onthe music, which means you've
got to wrap it up, people.
Have yourself a wonderful day.
