Free societies start to die the moment “feelings” outrank equal law—stop normalizing any ideology that silences women, erases minorities, and punishes speech. From campus culture to city policy, this episode of The Rant Network, argues that the only durable antidote to radical Islamic extremism is moral clarity and one standard for everyone: bright-line civic rules, a single legal system (no unofficial courts), transparent funding, real civic education, protection for criticism and free speech, and the courage to enforce equal laws without special exemptions—support reformers, defend pluralism, and lead with backbone.

SPEAKER_01 (00:03):
Those cheers you hear.
It's just a question of theFriday, people.
Friday before holiday, Fridaybefore the end of the year, it's
almost like I can't believewe're less than two weeks away
from starting 2026.
And you know, I thought when yousee 2026, we have advanced as a

(00:27):
society, education, culture, knowledge, you name it.
And yet it just seems to be thatat the university level and at
the at certain other parts ofsociety, we're um we're
backwards, backwards to thepoint where we are blinded by
ignorance, or for that matter,by some i possessive nature,

(00:54):
I've no idea why.
We're smart people, we assumesmart, knowledgeable people did
their homework and realize thatwhat we're seeing in the world
today with radical Islam isn'tattractive, but yet they make
excuses, but yet they say thisis what we want.

(01:16):
But yet, when you tell themwhere they're heading is down a
very bad path, they throw ityou're a racist, they make you
feel bad, that you're theproblem when in reality, look
around the world, wherever youhave radical Islam, there are
problems, growing, exponentialproblems.

(01:40):
But why doesn't that exist inplaces like UAE, Saudi Arabia?
You want to know why?
Welcome back to the RantNetwork, everybody.
I'm David Solomon, he is StuartBrisgell.
What we do here every Wednesday,Friday, noon, Eastern is exactly
this a rant about stuff thatpeople don't like to talk about
in public circles.
It's just all about culture, society, politics, and so much

(02:02):
more.
Where we bring it out into theforefront, we share our
opinions, or not the media, andthough we do our own work, we
just share our opinions and howwell we feel and our views on
this.
And we do love when you guyscomment on our YouTube channels
and all the social media.
So sit back today, folks, on ourFriday edition of the Rant
Network.
Stuart, I'm just very puzzled.

(02:25):
I'm not, I'm being facetiousabout it because I do know what
the real answer is.
But the the you know, I teach atMcGill University, and I'm
amazed by the depths of theprofessors, the school, the
students, and how they've takenradicalism as a normal way of
life.
That it's okay, that it's okayto beat up women, that it's okay

(02:49):
to throw gay people off a roof, that it's okay to call black
people slaves.
I didn't think that these peoplewere that naive, stupid, or for
that matter, like suckers.
Stuart, I'm I'm you know, I knowyou got lots to say here, but
it's interesting how thisproduct is exported, but it

(03:12):
isn't imported.

SPEAKER_00 (03:14):
Stuart, if you're ready.
You know, let me tell you, theonly people who won't tolerate
radical Islam are the ones whoknow it best.
I think let's start there.
Let me start with somethingyou're not allowed to say aloud
anymore.
But everyone knows the truth.

(03:35):
The West is importing anideology that the Middle East is
itself expelling.
Think about that.
The same elites who lectureAmericans and Europeans about
tolerance and diversity areimporting radical Islamic
ideology into every Westerncity.

(03:57):
While Dubai, Saudi Arabia, andthe Gulf states are aggressively
suppressing it.
And no, that's not a conspiracy, that's public policy.
This is not about race, thisisn't about immigration, this
isn't even about the Islamicfaith.

(04:18):
This is about radical politicalIslamists, an ideology that
rejects secular law, rejectspluralism, reject women's
equality, rejects free speech, and ultimately rejects the
entire Western civilizationitself, wanting to impose Sharia

(04:40):
law.
And there's irony.
No one wants to confront it.
And those that try are labeledracists, Islamophobists, and
everything else the kitchen sinkcan do.
The people who understand thethreat best are the ones who
lived under it.

(05:01):
The truth is that you're notjust supposed to say it aloud,
not even a cable news channel, not on campus, and certainly not
the political elite.
You've got to understand thatIslam as a religion and Islam as
a political ideology is not thesame.
Islam says God's laws overridecivil law.

(05:27):
Religious authority outranksdemocratic authority.
Apostasy is a crime, blasphemydeserves punishment.
Women's equality is negotiable, free speech is conditional.
That's the ideology.
That's not hypothetical.

(05:47):
It's been implementedrepeatedly.
When ISIS controlled theterritory in Iraq and in Syria,
we saw exactly what Islamistgovernment looks like.
They enslaved women, theypersecuted and murdered
religious minorities,journalists were hung and

(06:07):
executed, and all ancientcultures were erased.
And if you didn't know, this wasgoing on in the modern era for
the last 75 years in Israel, where they would dig under the
rock and mulch up anything thathad to identify a civilization
before theirs.

(06:28):
No one's debating that ISIS isevil, but ISIS didn't invent its
worldview.
It applied it without apology.
Taliban, Afghanistan, girlsbanned from school, women erased
from public life, dissentcrushed.

(06:49):
This is what happens whenideology wins, and the West
pretends that it's abouttolerance, making everyone who
brings up the subject seemdishonest.
Europeans ran the experimentfirst with massive immigration,
no assimilation requirements, endless tolerance, and zero

(07:14):
enforcement.
How is it now?
There are areas in France thatare no longer policed by the
police.
In England, there are areas thatthe Bobbies no longer venture in
because they coordinated Sharialaw within the western cities.

(07:34):
Coordinated Islamic terroristskilled 130 people at coffes,
concert halls, and stadiums inParis in 2015.
We know the authorities hadradicalized Europe and exploited
the asylum for travel.
How about Brussels 2016?

(07:56):
Terror sales open, operating inplain sight, the police afraid
to enter neighborhoods.
How about grooming gangs in theUnited Kingdom?
For years the crown refused toact.
Organized sexual exploits ofyoung girls became feared and

(08:16):
were called racist.
The moral cowardice is whatprevailed.
You know, parallel societies inSharia by stealth.
Western governments insistSharia law doesn't exist here.
That's technically true andpractically false.

(08:40):
Sharia Council in the UKoperates unofficially, settles
family disputes, pressures womento stay in abusive marriages,
and functions outside of civilcourt.
But hey, wait a minute, itdoesn't exist.
The no-go zones, the de factopolicy.

(09:04):
Police are altering patrols, teachers are being censored,
cartoons being pulled, and look, speakers being canceled.
Not by law, but by fear.
A society that enforces silence, intimidations are winning.

(09:25):
David, Dubai, Saudi Arabia arecontradiction.
They are Muslim majority, over85% foreign-born.
Global cities are safe andstable.
Why?
Because political Islam is nottolerated.
Mosques are monitored, sermonsare regulated, radical clerics

(09:47):
are expelled.
Islamist movement is banned.
Same in Saudi Arabia, right?
You cannot coexist this ideologyin the modern era.
They cannot coexist.
The elite betrayal is what'sensuing.

(10:07):
Media mocks you, politicals arenow pushing open borders, and
academics are dismissing thesecurity risk.
Yet they're being murdered inschool campuses like Brown and
MIT.
Listen, you cannot have policythat doesn't make sense if

(10:29):
you're passionate about it,because it's policy malpractice.
Right?
It is, David, not about freespeech because free speech is
the first casualty in thisideology.
It becomes hate speech where thefreedoms are already gone.
Teachers are intimidated, journalists are threatened, and

(10:52):
other religions are beingpersecuted.
With Christians being murderedaround the world, silence ensues
in the UN, Jews being murderedevery day, it's silence in the
UN.
Why is this?
This is a civilian question.
It's about civil law, values, and everyone's right to exist.

(11:15):
Yet their right to exist issuperior to everyone else's.
History is clear.
Societies that refuse to defendfoundations cease to exist.
Is that the irony, David?

SPEAKER_01 (11:31):
You know, Stuart, you you you brought up a lot of
amazing points here, and I'lljust I'll just want to touch on
a few.
Once upon a time, you heard thewords buck up.
You know, you heard from youryou know, from a different
generation stop, stop, stop, stop being, you know, like stop

(11:52):
crying, stop whimpering, be aman, be solid.
And what we've done is we'vechanged that.
We've taught our children forwell over a generation right now
that your feelings matter.
And that is what these radicalIslamists have taken advantage
of.
They've taken advantage of asociety that got soft.

(12:14):
And you know, it's it'sinteresting because it's
cyclical.
Hard times bring out hardpeople, hard people bring out
soft times, soft times bring outsoft people, soft people bring
out hard times.
And we're in that cycle rightnow.
That the soft people right noware sitting here saying, Oh,
poor them, aw, aw, aw.

(12:35):
You know, what's crazy is thatwhen you talk to when you know
what goes on in politicalcircles, and I know this in in
first hand steward, that youknow, if you want to help an
immigrant society, regardless ofwho they are, one of the
minorities, because they want toimmigrate to your country, you
trade their immigration forvotes.

(12:58):
And it's worked, it's worked.
Look at any culture, anyminority steward, anywhere you
go, it works.
You come here, you vote for me,but all of these folks that you
you mentioned before have allintegrated themselves.
You use the word assimilated,I'm using the word integrated
into your society, Canadian,American, Western, doesn't make

(13:20):
a difference.
Except one group.
This one group of radicalIslamists have decided oh no,
no, no, we're not going tointegrate ourselves, we're going
to take full advantage of yourweakness, and that is because
you've welcomed us in becauseyou wanted to vote.
Not a problem.
The same people you stood withthat you claimed are

(13:42):
pro-Palestine, which theyclearly are not, that you stood
there.
How many times did they tell youabsolutely no to homosexuality?
How many times did they tell youno to women's rights?
You're not listening.
You got caught, you got caughtbecause your feelings, you're
looking for more people tosupport your cause.

(14:05):
Fatty is for Palestine.
You wanted more people for inyour cause.
That works for you.
Black Lives Matter, you wantmore people in your cause.
That works for you.
But what you've all failed torecognize, or you're ignoring,
is that these are not yourallies, these are your enemies,
and these two enemies areworking together in

(14:25):
collaboration for parallelgoals, but not the same, but
they're parallel, and you guysare trying both the same thing,
you're trying to both disruptsociety, some in a positive way
and some in a very negative way.
And you've hooked, you've youknow, you've you've you've
tethered your horse to the wrongcrowd.
Now, someone said, you know, every time you talk about

(14:47):
radical Islam, you're a racist.
I love that.
Again, label me.
Please label me.
I don't know why you think if Icall out hate, I'm a racist.
Every time I say something to dowith radical Islam, and I use
the words radical because I havemany friends who are Muslim.
I work with many Muslims, I'maffiliated with many Muslims who

(15:08):
are peace loving and haveintegrated themselves into
Western society.
They've accepted the rules, thelaws of the country that they're
in.
I respect their religion, theycan go to the mosque, they can
pray, they could do all thesethings.
But what they won't do isradicalize our society.
And even they're saying, they'resaying, be aware of radical

(15:32):
Islam.
There are in the last electionstory, and here in Canada, I met
people who told me that theywere threatened, physically
threatened, that if they didn'tvote for the Muslim candidate in
my writing, something willhappen to them.
I spoke to several people likethat.
Is that what you want in yoursociety?

(15:53):
Now I understand there'scoercion in an election.
I everywhere you go, there'scoercion.
Physical violence?
This is what they're bringing tothe table.
They want to change things.
Now, listen, would you I I'mjust trying to understand at
what point are you tired of yournativity scenes being shut down,
Christmas markets being closedbecause of the threats?

(16:15):
And here's the thing.
I want to understand, Stuart.
Before you so you know, I knowyou want to suggest a solution,
but here's the question I askpeople.
Are you ready to give up yoursociety that you have today?
That you could freely walk intoa Starbucks and not, you know,

(16:38):
if you're a woman and not need acompanion with you, because in a
lot of these countries, you'renot allowed to be alone if
you're not a married woman.
Would you like to be, you know, beaten up, having to hide again
because you're gay, then keepdoing this?
Because this is where this isheading.
And believe you me, you don'thave to do a lot of homework to

(17:00):
find this.
This is clearly all over thesocial channels of what they do
to people like you.
So if you're ready for this, gomove there, don't stay here.
We don't want it.
If Stuart, I'll wrap up withthis.
If the statistics are accurate, that they're approximately 15%

(17:23):
of Islam is radical out of 1.8million, that's about a quarter
million.
That's almost the entire size ofthe United States.
Do you understand what I justsaid?
Imagine the entire population ofthe United States, radical
Islamists spread all over theworld.
If this is what you think isgood, holy crap, you're in for

(17:46):
deep trouble.

SPEAKER_00 (17:47):
All right, James.
What do you propose?
Listen, how do you fix theproblem without abandoning
freedom?
The problem's not immigration,it's not Islam, and it's not
diversity.
The problem's allowing liberalpolitical ideology to operate
inside a liberal system withoutany boundaries.

(18:07):
Every successful society that'sdealt with this challenge,
democratic or not, did so byenforcing the clear clear laws,
equal law, non-negotiable civicstandards.
Draw a bright line betweenreligion and political ideology.

(18:29):
Enforce the single legal systemin the country you're in.
Prohibiting unofficial religiouscourts from adjudicating civil
matters.
Cut foreign sources, cut theaid, ban foreign funding for
mosques and religious schoolsand NGOs.

(18:51):
Require full financialtransparency.
Reform immigration withoutasylum without cause.
Close it.
Demand assimilation clearly andfairly with social contact,
mandatory civic education, laws, rights, freeze, language

(19:15):
proficiency, an affirmation ofconstitutional supremacy.
If you have one, we do.
Defend free speech.
Protect criticism of religiousideology without target the
radicals where it happens.

(19:38):
Stop governing by accusation,AOC's classic rule.
Support reformers, don'tapologize.
The strongest allies againstextremism are Muslims who
reject, reject the politicalIslamists that exist.
And we've put them on our feet.

(20:00):
You see them in the news.
They're not the minority anylonger.
Restore moral and culturalconfidence.
Look, the bottom line is clearlaw, equal enforcement, no
special exemptions, civicconfidence, and moral clarity.
That provides no hate, no fear,no collective blame.

(20:23):
Just lead.
Have courage and follow the law.

SPEAKER_01 (20:28):
You know where you can find that, by the way, what
you just pretty much said?

unknown (20:31):
What?

SPEAKER_01 (20:33):
Check out Poland.
Check out the laws and thepolicies they put in Poland.
They don't have this issue.
And there's a reason.
Because your points are alreadyright right now.
That's in place.
And there are other places wherethat's in place.
But unfortunately, we in theWest were soft and we believe
that everybody is, you know, wehave to treat everybody equally,

(20:54):
but we're not being treatedequally at all.
Ladies and gentlemen, that isit.
We are done for another editionof the another week of the Rant
Network.
Stuart put the crickets away.
Thank you very much.
We'll catch you guys on Monday.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
Look out for our top 10.
Thank you for your support thisyear, people.

(21:14):
We'll catch you on Monday.
