Speaker 2 (01:43):
I'm looking forward to. That's my only like big plan
the whole weekend.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Oh okay, so wow, I'm honored. We're gonna blow it out.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Got gold stars on Mike Calendar.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Okay, well, we're gonna bring lots of tequila for val
I have yet to see. Do you drink a lot?
Do you ever drink?

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Now?

Speaker 2 (01:59):
I'm a it waits. It doesn't take much for me.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Oh good. So do you like margarita?

Speaker 2 (02:10):
It depends? Yeah, See like I love uh mad mechs
their apple cider margarita and their mango margarita's.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Okay, see, Johnny and tequila do not mix. No, it's
every time I drink tequila, it goes poorly. Really, yeah,
every time something goes a miss. So I stay away
from tequila. You'd be surprised, because you know, because of
how many times I go to Mexico. I don't think
you would think that I would be you.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
What about they say the really high end good tequila
for like, sipping doesn't affect people the same way. It's
just like no, no.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
No, I'm a run boy. Yeah rum and Johnny's tell
me makes Johnny? Oh yeah, I'm a twenty eight days
until Thanksgiving. Today is Blackout Wednesday. Speaking of drinking, like,
it's like the biggest, one of the biggest drinking days
of the year. National Bavarian Cream Pie Day. That sounds good.

(03:12):
National Craft Jerky Day. That sounds good. And I'm surprised
you don't like jerky.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
What is kraft jerky?

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Like homemade flow?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Okay, I guess so, yeah, No, I'm not a jerky eater.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
National Electric Guitar Day, National Family caregivers Day, National Jukebox Day,
National Pins and Needles Day, Pie in the Face Day.
I like pie, but not in the face. Taiwan On Day.
That makes sense because you have, like moleade, three or
four days to sober up.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Right.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Turtle Adoption Day, which is crazy because I just adopted
a turtle, Like on Monday, I adopted the.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Turtle on wrong day. Did you ever have a turtle
as a kid?

Speaker 3 (03:53):
I think my kids had turtles. Yeah, for sure. They
only lived like a couple of days. I think they
want a couple at like a fair.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
I had hermit crabs.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Yeah, they had hermat crabs.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
They don't last very long.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
They had a hamster one time, hamster or or hamster orbil.
I can't remember when, but it was.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
They reproduce like crazy.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Well, there was only one got out and it was
in our walls for years.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Well that's the thing. Is what's funny is that, uh
my ex father in law gave my kids, uh collectible
wheaties boxes, and when I moved out, it ate through
the whole thing. It was like six boxes of wheaties gone.
That's what it ate. That's what I'm convinced didn't know.
I wasn't there.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
My best friend as a kid had hamsters and they
reproduced constantly.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Sorry, all right, we've got day number what is it? Three?
Three three for the trivia question coming up after Ted Alexandro.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
I remember last Thanksgiving, I go with my mom and
Dad's for traditional Thanksgiving dinner and my mom orders Boston Market.
Have laid that Boston Market, but she served it in
her own China, right, So the guests wouldn't know, but
my brothers and sisters and I would drop subtle. Hence
we'd be like, so, Mom, do we get two sides
with the turkey? Is it to or is it just

(05:26):
the corn bread? What's the policy? She was like, just
take what you want to Basie. I was like, you know,
can I see you a manager?

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Because I really.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
Don't like your attitude at all?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
And I've been eating here a long time.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
All right, all right, okay, I think the biggest thing
at my family parties is deciding what we're gonna do
with the plastic forks.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Are we keeping the forks? Are we gonna keep the
forks because you can wash them, You wash them and
use them again. Okay, so we're gonna throw the cups,
but we're keeping the forks. We're gonna keep them because
you can wash them. And you can tell how old

(06:15):
you are based on how you feel about the force.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Because when I was younger, I was like, throw the forks.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Who cares? We'll get more on behalf of the entire
kittie table. We say before.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Say I never made it to the adult table. I
never did. I never did. Uh, you know with my parents. Yeah,
my grandmother. I was like the next year, I was
about to graduate to the big table. My grandmother passed

(06:52):
away and never made it to the big game.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
That's all right. I belong with the kids anyway. Right.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
I think I'm back there because I'm saying loans.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Oh. Day three for the trivia question. Let's get Let's
see if I can get a winner. Good morning. Who's this?
John Tony Tony my man? All right? Uh rod Roy
trivia question? Three Different women played this well known character
on TV. What is it?

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Who is it? Missus Klaw, missus claws?

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Look at him? Look at him coming up with a
real answer. I thought for sure he'd say Beluga. But nope,
not missus Claws. Oh you two four, one, two, three, three,
three ninety four or five? O? What you got, Peter Pan?
Keep working?

Speaker 4 (07:35):
Thanks?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Liam? What you got for us? How about Ray Tyler
from Doctor Who? Oh look at you digging deep on
those BBC TV shows. Not the answer I'm looking for, Okay, Johnny,
what you got?

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Count woman?

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Yeah, we've had a lot of people say that, Oh
it's not count woman. It is, but it's not the
answer I'm looking for. Okay, thanks, thanks Johnny. Let's take
three more. Go ahead, right, keep working two more ago?
It is not sorry a Barb, how you doing today?

(08:15):
Love that? All right? You're the last call and take
this week. Get it right and you win. Otherwise it's
the same question on Monday. What you got for us?

Speaker 5 (08:21):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Missie or Dallas?

Speaker 3 (08:24):
It is not? Okay, thanks Barb, have a happy Thanksgiving?
But all right, going to vow. Do you have a
Do you have a guest for us?

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Yep, tinky Winky from the teletubby.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
No, that's my favorite answer so far, though. What's most
important to me news updates? Not news news updates. I
like all the local news. How many tinky winkies were there?
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
That's the only one I know. Okay, so and now
I have no guesses left.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
All right, you've got four days to come up with another.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Okay. Some people think the best way to prepare for
the Thanksgiving fee is by not eating at all on
Thursday morning. They think that will help them gobble up
as much as humanly possible during the meal, But dieticians
say that plan will set you up for failure. Skipping
meals could make you so hungry that you eat too much,
too fast, and then you just feel like a big toad.

(09:19):
Registered dietitian and author Elizabeth Shaw says your body will
appreciate being fed at regular time, setting you up for
success as you enter the eating occasions later in the day.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
My goal is to feel in look like a toad.
That's my Thanksgiving resolution right there.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Well, this might help you. There is a trend gaining
popularity for its surprising health benefits, and you could probably
weave it into your Thanksgiving Day or Thanksgiving weekend. Health
officials are recommending fartwalks, which are post meal strolls designed
to improve digestion and regulate blood sugar levels. Supposedly, these

(09:56):
fartwalks can reduce bloating, minimize acid reef and even help
prevent type two diabetes by slowing down postmeal blood sugar spikes.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
I just had a part walk. I just crop dusted
the whole hallway.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Thank god you did it out there. And finally, there
are plenty of Christmas movies to watch during the holidays,
but don't overlook the Thanksgiving films. People Magazine put together
a list of what they consider must see Thanksgiving movies
so you could have your own marathon. A few they
included are a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving classic, absolutely must great

(10:30):
one to watch, Thanksgiving which is a slasher.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Movie, A classic one. You really it's it really ranks
up there with Charlie Brown. It gives you why Why
is a slasher movie on this list?

Speaker 2 (10:43):
Hey don't. I don't know. Knives Out which I don't know.
Daniel Craig Thanksgiving Tie.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Is a lot of people love that movie. I was
not crazy about it. And then there was Knives Out too,
which I disliked even more and people are crazy about it.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
I see either one, Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
And absolute one of my favorite films ever.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Yeah, Little Women, Miracle on thirty fourth Street, The Humans
Home for the Holidays, Son in Law, which is the
old poly Shore movie. No, it takes place over college
Thanksgiving break, No, What's Cooking? That's about a family Thanksgiving
friends Giving, which stars Melan Ackerman and Jane Seymour. It
was produced by Ben Stiller and The Turkey Drop.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
All right, very good, all right, thank you, Val. All right,
so let me introduce a friend of Mike, Mark Melavats.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Yep, Monday, December second, seven pm, buy in theater.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
And what can we expect?

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Oh my god, some special surprises this year. I have
little celebrities this year. Oh yeah, I won't tell you
who they are, but the little special or Pop's orchestra,
pit dance team are Santabel dancers.

Speaker 3 (12:04):

Speaker 1 (12:08):
