Speaker 3 (07:41):
Those I got? I think I have all of them.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Okay, go for it.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
Not a person, not an animal, there is one in
Pittsburgh at least, not a statue, not a museum. It
is a building.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
It's in a building.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
It's in a building. It's what's inside the building. And
it's not a uniform size. And it was originally it
originally came about in the mid seventies in Germany.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Right, okay, so do you have a question or do
you have a guess?
Speaker 3 (08:17):
Oh, it's also not a government agency.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Yeah, definitely not that.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
I have a I don't know if I asked this question,
I don't have an answer. Is it bathroom related?
Speaker 1 (08:28):
No? Yeah, you asked that. Yeah, okay, do you have
another questionm.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
No. I can't even come up with any questions. It's
too hard, Johnny.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
It's too hard. It's too hard. I'll give you a hint. Okay,
it's a business. It's a business, and it's yeah, we said,
it's not an unfamiliar business, all right. It's unique though,
it's unique. And once you find out the answer, you're like, oh,
I should have thought of that. What's the most important
(08:59):
to me? And news out? The natural news moves up, dude,
I like all the local news. A what's going down?
Speaker 3 (09:05):
According to a new survey, video games are not just
four kids anymore. Twenty eight percent of the roughly two
hundred and five million gamers in the US are over
the age of fifty. Survey also found nearly half of
Americans in their sixties and seventies play some form of
video game every week, as do thirty six percent of
people in their eighties. And it seems these older adults
(09:28):
are not just playing brain games either. Instead, many of
them are mixing it up with younger players on multiplayer systems,
giving them a boost of mental stimulation as well as
a social.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
You know, there was a time I used to play
video games, but they were simple. They were simple games,
Like the football game was like, you know.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
You run Caligo as that was that a threat.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Even after that, it was like, you know they uh.
But then they started you have to put a you know,
ABC and then click another thing, and it got too complicated.
I just liked when it was simpler.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Man, Just a knob that you move.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Chalk up another win for those on the side of
putting the four day work week into effect. Researchers at
Boston College have just published the results of a six
month study tracking the outcomes after one hundred and forty
one businesses made the switch from a five day work week,
Almost three thousand workers were tracked during the study after
(10:24):
they switched to a four day work week with no
reduction in pay, so those workers were also compared to
those with similar jobs that stuck to the standard five
days schedule. Now, the four day workers reported greater job
satisfaction sure less burnout. They also reported being more productive
on the job, sleeping better, and feeling less fatigued. Researchers
(10:47):
admit this study was focused on employees, but they say
there's evidence a move to a four day work week
could benefit employers as well. So hopefully this research maybe
has an effect on business.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
It'llever that will never happen.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
Maybe in select businesses maybe, but not not as a
crack I can't imagine.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
All right, all right, it's yacht Rock Week and we're
giving away a yacht Rock prize pack which includes tickets

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Really were, they really were. And so we've got tickets
for tomorrow's show, and we also have tickets for the
sold out Valport yacht Rock cruise aboard the Gateway clipper
Fleet on Sunday afternoon.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
Yeah, four o'clock boarding sailing from five to seven thirty.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
All right, once again, it's time for Captain Valporter's yacht
rock song of the day. All right, what do you
got for?
Speaker 3 (11:50):
Okay? So this is a song that was written by
Bos Skaggs and David Page of Toto and was introduced
on the nineteen seventy six album Silk Degrees. It was
released as a single in seventy seven, hit number eleven
on the US Billboard Hot one hundred chart. And you know,
we were talking about the guys from Toto being kind
of the backup band of that area, that era, and
(12:12):
they were the backup band on this.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
All right, Oh, I know, I know. Do I get
to get do I win the tickets? All right, here's

Speaker 3 (14:32):
You can't leave people hanging a long.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
I'm going to leave them hangan and'll leave them mangan.
Did I ever tell you the one time I was
working at a radio station I had, and I've been
doing the trivia question going back to nineteen ninety five.
This is before I came to Pittsburgh. And I did
the trivia question and then i'd left and never gave
the ad.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
You left the station.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
I left the station, and people found on another radio station,
we're calling me up. What's the answer? And I remember
the trivia question too, what's half a Wait? What was it?
(15:16):
What's a keat?
Speaker 3 (15:17):
A keat? Yeah, Keith, it's a baby something animal. No,
it's some kind of a baby.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
It's half a pair of keet Oh jeez. So I
took calls all afternoon. I was doing afternoons at a
radio station in Youngstown, and I took calls for like
four hours, and then I left. I just left the
race and I went started working for B ninety four.
And then people started they go, hey, you're the key guy.
