It's a comedy cut from Chad Daniels.

Speaker 5 (03:57):
So I also have a fourteen year old daughter and
I gave her a chore list with three words on it,
and she goes, where's your chore list? Never had a
kid say something to you that Then they're serious, but
then you almost ruin it because you laugh. That's what
I was like, Oh god, what And I just go
what did you say? And she goes, where's your She

(04:18):
slowed it down like I didn't like. I actually didn't
hear her, you know, So I said, you know everything
that happens in this house. To make this home operate,
we subtracted three things I asked you to do, and
that is my choorlest Remember when you woke up in
a bed warm and not hungry.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Check check check, I did that.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
My chorlist also has three words on it and it

way too hard.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Harder today than we should have had to work.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
All right, let's get that winner. Good morning. Who's this
all right?

Speaker 5 (05:37):
This is Michelle?

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Hi, Michelle? Do you listen to our podcast?

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yes? I did?

Speaker 4 (05:46):
All right, Michelle, These three things have a common thread.
What specifically does cotton candy, a donut, and a margarita.
What are they have in common?

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Their names of peaches, Michelle, why did it go out
of you?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (06:08):
All like a like a Macintosh apple. They're all kinds
of peaches. Cotton candy peach is very sweet, a doughnut
peach which Giant Eagle sells. They're they're not round, they're
kind of squeezhes, they're kind of flat like. And then
the margarita peach almost has like a lime taste. Well, congratulations,

(06:31):
after nineteen days, we finally got a winner, and her
name is Michelle.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Michelle, thank you, Yes, we got a winner.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Congratulations Michelle.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
All right, you ready for mondays? Yeah? Question.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
The first patent for this was almost one hundred and
forty years ago. A female improved the design about one
hundred years ago, but it did not get popular because
men refused to have anything to do with it. Initially,
men put the kabash on this invention until recently.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
You got a guess, m the girdle without the girl.
What's the most important to me?

Speaker 5 (07:15):
News?

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Updates updates? I like the local news, which, by the way,
kids spanks has been around a really long time. They
used to call them girdles, which I don't know why
that word makes me laugh.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
It is funny, though, It's like the word girdle, girdle.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
It's just funny.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Girdle. Nobody know we call them girdles anymore? Spanks? What's
going on?

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Startup called the Alter Ego has announced what they claim
is the world's first wearable device that lets people communicate
silently using their thoughts. I have dreamed of this day.
Have you not ever been in a room with someone
you're close to and you like, you want to say something,
but you can't say.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
It out loud? What does this do? How does it
do well?

Speaker 1 (08:03):
This device is called Silent Sense. It works by detecting
tiny muscle signals that the brain sends to the speech
system before words are actually spoken. Was founded by MIT researchers.
The company says its headset can help people type at
the speed of thought, restore speech for those who have
lost it, browse the webs silently, translate languages in real time,

(08:26):
and have private conversations without making any sense.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
Wait wait, wait, this could really get a lot of
us in trouble though, Do you really want to know
what goes inside.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
I want to be able to send it right to
a person, not everybody I know.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
So as a male, you got to watch out what
work like you. Definitely women, you think we're discusting, Now
wait till you know what's going on inside our heads.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Let's put it out. They say this, you will never
stop slapping us once you understand.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
This technology they say is about ninety percent accurate, but
needs individual training for each user, so going to be
some time before they get that out. An eighty year
old Japanese woman was scammed out of approximately sixty seven
hundred dollars by someone posing as an astronaut stuck in space.
The woman I've watched two romance scam documentaries recently. They're

(09:20):
just stunningly shocking. The woman made the scam are on
social media.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Can you help me? Can you give me sixty seven
hundred dollars? I was stuck?

Speaker 1 (09:30):
This guy claimed to be an astronaut in outer space
and was stuck there and needed oxygen, So he needed
money to buy oxygen?

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Where to buy?

Speaker 1 (09:40):
This is an eighty year old woman, so you know
she lives alone. They developed a relationship. She got romantic
feelings for this person. The woman only realized something was
wrong when she discussed it with her family, who helped
her report it to police. Authorities say this is a
very common the online romance scam and that getting her

(10:03):
money back is pretty much going to be impossible. They
explained another similar case in twenty twenty two, another elderly
woman paid thirty thousand dollars. Lord gee, she a scammer.
The documentary I watched three women. They talked to three
women scammed by the same group of people. It's like

(10:23):
these group of scam scammers overseas and they just you
know this one woman she gave a million. Now she
was in Germany, so I don't know if it was
euros or dollars, but she said it was a million
and a half.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
Euros are actually more valuable than dollars, so it's even worse.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
So a million and a half to her scammer. Then
she like tried to track her scammer down and found
somebody else who was like, well, I used to do that,
but I don't anymore. Your story sounds really familiar. I
think I can help you find your scam. She sent
that guy half a million, so then they hired this

(11:07):
internet sleuth. It tech Guide to try to track people electronically,
and the guy was like, well, you got scam not once,
but twice. Because the people who claim they can help
you find your scammer that is another online scam in itself.
My god, I mean yeah, I just don't even know

(11:30):
what to say about it.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
I don't know either. All right, let's do this.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Day number three for the who sings that trying to
give away tickets for the yacht Rock Review at STAJE.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Let's give this a listen.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
A well known three WS artist before they hit it big.
You've been doing it all week and no winner, no
winner at all. It's a tough one and I've given
no hints because I was so concentrated.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
I was so focused on the road Roy trivia question
I forgot about this one.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Well that's over.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
So yeah, we finally got a winner, by the way,
and so if you missed the answer, we'll have that
on the podcast. But right now, here's your chance to
win tickets for the yacht Rock Review. Let's give this
a listener, all right now? On you four one two three,
three three ninety four five.

somebody well known before they hit it big.

think that is?

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Steve Tyler?

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Steve Tyler of Aerosmith FA. Yes, what made you say that?

Speaker 5 (13:03):
Because I hear his voice.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
I know that voice, that pitch voice.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
It is Stephen Taller Good.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
It was with his first band called Chain Reaction, and
the song is called When I Needed You.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
So congratulations brother, thank you very much. Getting hang on,
I will thank you, all right? Did you know that
