As artists, we all have a vision of doing something unique, something eye-catching--something that's never been done before. Our crazy ideas and esoteric visions often persist through a gut feeling that somehow, some way, the insane thing that we're planning or imagining just might work.

In this episode, Emmeline sits down with Austin-based musicians Kris Schultz and Charlie Richards to talk about their grant-winning video series, Songs in Places. In the series, Kris Schultz plays her beautiful, vulnerable songs acoustically in one take in public places. The duo shares the crazy idea that started the series, how the vision has progressed through the episodes, and which moments made for what they believe to be the most entertaining takes. They also talk about the challenges they face during shooting, the ways in which they encourage each other's music, and the funniest behind-the-scenes moments in each episode.
