Believe it or not your fly box says an awful lot about who you are. Maybe you have a lot of OCD and you have an incredibly well organized box but it literally drives you crazy to lose the fly. Maybe you are completely and utterly disorganized. Meaning, maybe you hope you get to the stream and remember what you have. Possibly you right in the middle which I think is a good place to be. Decently organized system with flies you're confident in and you don't mind losing one of them or 13 of them in the pursuit of fish. In this episode I give you my thoughts on fly selection for steelhead fishing. Eliminate the variables, keep it simple, be confident what's in that box. Tie one on catch a fish.
