I will share the Bible in chronological order along with brief devotional insights. Most episodes will end with a "point to ponder" ... something that stood out to me or just something I'd like to say. I hope you enjoy listening to God's Word. I certainly enjoy sharing my favorite book with you.

Today we see the resurrection of Jesus! After appearing to many people, He ascends into Heaven.

Today we see Jesus crucified and buried.

* As I was checking the recording, I noticed a mistake in saying that the Sabbath was usually on Thursday. I should have said the Jewish Sabbath was usually on Saturday.

Today we see the final trial of Jesus before Pilate as the Jews are shouting for Jesus' crucifixion. Finally, Pilate washes his hands and hands Jesus over to be crucified.

Today we see Jesus praying in agony in the Garden of Gethsemane. We also see Judas' betrayal and the arrest of Jesus.

Today we see Jesus speaking love and encouragement to His disciples before He is to be  crucified. He also prays for US!

Today we see the "Last Supper" with Jesus and His disciples. Jesus identifies Judas Iscariot as the betrayer and teaches about humility, His crucifixion and the coming of the Holy Spirit.

Today we see Judas deciding to betray Jesus and receiving the 30 pieces of silver as payment for his betrayal. We also see Jesus getting ready to eat the 'last supper' with His disciples.

Today we see Jesus speaking about the signs of His coming and the end of the age. He warns us to be watchful and ready.

Today we see Jesus on Tuesday of His final week. He teaches with some parables and condemns the Pharisees, Sadducees, chief priests and teachers of the law calling them hypocrites, snakes and blind fools!

Today we see Sunday and Monday of Jesus' final week. He enters Jerusalem triumphantly, cleanses the temple again and explains the purpose of His coming death.

Today we see Jesus teaching about humility, faith, stewardship and being fully devoted to following Him. We see Mary humbly worship Jesus by pouring expensive perfume on His feet. 

(I later realized that I forgot to say an important point: The small archway mentioned had the nickname "The Eye of the Needle". Now that piece will make more sense when you hear it.)

Today we see Jesus raise His friend, Lazarus, from the dead!

Today we see Jesus healing, teaching and making His identity known as one with God. He encourages us to be merciful, thankful and come to Him for rest when we are weary.

Today we see Jesus explain to the Pharisees who He really is and tells them they are children of the devil. He also heals a blind man and explains that He is the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep.
