I will share the Bible in chronological order along with brief devotional insights. Most episodes will end with a "point to ponder" ... something that stood out to me or just something I'd like to say. I hope you enjoy listening to God's Word. I certainly enjoy sharing my favorite book with you.
I will be starting a new podcast soon. I will be reading some of my favorite books for adults and children. The title will be "Let's Enjoy a Book". The first book will be the one I wrote entitled "A Song from the Rubble". I hope you will give it a listen.

In these episodes we see more of Paul's difficulties as he travels (shipwreck, snakebite, arrest, imprisonment). We also read several of his letters to various people and churches.
In these episodes we see the beginning of the Church as the apostles are filled with the Holy Spirit and begin to preach the Gospel. We see the first martyr, Stephen, and the conversion of Saul (Paul). We also read Paul's letters to Galatia, Thessalonica and Corinth.
In these episodes we see the final days of Jesus' ministry on Earth, HIs crucifixion, His burial, His resurrection and His ascension.
In these episodes we begin the New Testament. Jesus is born and we follow Him as He performs miracles, preaches and teaches through parables.
In these episodes we see the amazing story of Esther (filled with God's divine providence and satisfying poetic justice) and the rebuilding and dedication of the new temple wall in Jerusalem.
In these episodes we see several of Daniel's visions along with the writing on the wall for Belshazzar. Daniel is thrown into the lions' den and protected by an angel. Some of the exiles return to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple. Several Psalms are included throughout.
In these episodes we see Ezekiel's visions and prophesies regarding Israel's punishments and restoration. We also see Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace and Nebuchadnezzar's 7 years of insanity. We end with Job and the question of why righteous people suffer.
In these episodes we see Ezekiel called to prophesy to the exiles in Babylonia as well as Jeremiah speaking to the remaining Jews in Jerusalem as it is destroyed and overtaken by the Babylonians.
In these episodes we hear more from Jeremiah and another prophet - Habakkuk. The punishment of Judah also begins with Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, taking many into captivity... including Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.
In these episodes we hear from prophets Nahum, Zephaniah and Jeremiah. They all warn Israel and Judah to turn from their wickedness, but they do not listen. We also meet young King Josiah who does more than any other king to turn the nation of Judah back to the Lord. When he dies, however, they go right back to their unfaithfulness.
In these episodes Isaiah prophesies about God's punishment for Israel and Judah, His punishment on their enemies, His restoration and forgiveness when they repent, the coming Messiah and reward for believers. We also see what is happening in Israel and Judah just as the years of exile are approaching.
In these episodes we hear from some prophets (Hosea, Amos, Micah and Isaiah) regarding the sin, punishment and restoration of Israel and Judah.
These episodes follow the many years of the divided kingdoms of Israel and Judah. Sadly, most of the kings did evil in the sight of the Lord.
In these episodes we see the fall of King Solomon, his proverbs and his reflections on the meaninglessness of life.
In these episodes we see the death of King David and the beginning of the reign of King Solomon.
These episodes contain many of David's Psalms about various topics.
In these episodes we follow David as he runs from King Saul and eventually becomes the King of Israel. His son, Solomon, is appointed to become the next king and build the temple in Jerusalem.
In these episodes Israel is repeatedly doing evil, crying out to God and being rescued by God. They enter the time of kings, and we meet King Saul and young David.
