Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the power of
your mindset when it comes to
becoming unstoppable.
Right, like this is what I meanwhen I say becoming unstoppable
is like your circumstancesright now are not the end of
your dreams happening, it isjust the beginning.
Really, it's taking theseexperiences that we're having
and turning them into power.
(00:20):
It's turning them intosomething to outcomeize, to
create something from it.
Right, and that's really how.
Hey, girlfriend, welcome toJourney to Limitless Podcast.
Together on the show, we're on amission to build belief in
ourselves and live a life offreedom, despite what tries to
hold us back.
I'm your host, court, anempowerment coach, travel
enthusiast and a chronic illnesswarrior who, over the last
(00:42):
seven years, has built a lifethat I'm so obsessed with and
proud of, but it definitely hasnot come easy.
So on the show, we're going tokeep it real as we talk about
adapting positive mindsetsthrough hardship, taking action
towards our dreams and findingpeace and freedom from hustle,
culture and chronic stress.
Are you with me?
Let's get going on your ownJourney to Limitless.
Welcome back to another episodeof Journey to Limitless.
(01:06):
I'm so excited that you're heretoday because I just feel so
fired up about this conversationthat we're going to have.
So, before we jump into that, Iwanted to just tell you because,
since this podcast is all aboutbreaking cycles and continuing
to move forward, I always justwant to loop you in on the
cycles that I myself am workingon breaking, because this
podcast is never me acting likeI have broken all the cycles in
(01:30):
my life.
Breaking cycles is a continuousjourney.
So today, the cycle that I'mworking on breaking is the cycle
of being a perfectionist.
Just to be a bit transparentwith you, sometimes when I am
recording this podcastespecially since it's by myself
sometimes I have to rerecordthis numerous times because I
stutter and I make a mistake andthen I'm like, oh my God, I
(01:51):
need to rerecord it.
So the cycle that I'm workingon breaking today is like I just
want to hit record on thispodcast.
I just want to talk all the waythrough without interrupting
myself and breaking that cycleof perfectionism.
So I just think it's alwaysimportant because, as a coach
for women who help them breakcycles so they can experience
more joy, freedom and confidence, I think it's just important
(02:15):
for you to know I'm on thisjourney with you as well.
I am walking beside you as youare breaking cycles and giving
you insight on how to coach youthrough breaking your cycles and
just always reminding you thatit's never an end goal.
It's never like you're going tobreak all your cycles in life.
It's going to be a continuousjourney and I just always want
(02:36):
to be really transparent aboutthat.
So that's my goal for today.
But today, jumping into whatwe're talking about, I'm so
excited about this conversationthat we're going to have because
this idea about having thispodcast episode about being
unstoppable really came to melast night.
I had a call with my businesscoach yesterday and we were
(02:57):
really talking about the personthat I'm so excited to serve as
a coach and through this podcastis like really the woman who
wants to become unstoppable, whoknows that there's going to be
things that can get in her wayof the life that she wants to
live.
But it's about building theresilient mindset.
(03:17):
It's about building thementality that she can get
through anything and she cancontinue to move forward.
And I just am so excited aboutthis because I truly believe
that over the last two years ofnavigating some health struggles
and this recent hardship ofleaving Colorado and moving home
, I have never been so confidentin being unstoppable before,
(03:42):
and it's through these difficulttimes that we really build that
unstoppable mindset.
But it's about beingintentional about it.
It's very easy to have thingshappen and then we push things
to the side, we forget about ourdreams and we don't really
build that resilient mindset, wedon't really build that
unstoppable energy and trulyHAPPY being intentional through
(04:03):
difficult times that will buildan unstoppable mindset, right.
So today's episode, I reallyjust kind of want to loop you in
on those two things that havereally helped me build that
unsuppable mindset how I havetaken those two situations and
really harness them in my lifeand utilize them to grow,
utilize them to continue movingforward, and why now, even
(04:26):
through still a bit of adifficult circumstance, I'm
really confident in thisunstoppable energy that I've
created.
So today I'm going to be tellingyou a little bit about what
I've taken from theseexperiences and why I feel so
unstoppable.
Right and hopes to guide you.
But then also I want to makesure that I invite you I'm going
to be talking about this alittle bit more towards the end,
(04:47):
but I'm hosting a workshop nextweek called Unstoppable.
So in this workshop I'm goingto be guiding you through
figuring out your long-termvision, your goals in life, like
your ultimate dream, right, figuring out what is holding you
back right now, what are thestories, what are the beliefs,
what are the situations, whatare the circumstances that you
(05:09):
are telling yourself that thatis not possible for you, and
helping you pave a path thatwill lead you to becoming
unstoppable.
That dream will happen despitewhere you are right now.
Right, so today's episode isgoing to be information, but
then next week's workshop, whichI would love to have you.
It's going to be free, happening in the free community.
(05:30):
So head to the show notes andclick during the community there
and that's how you can attendthis workshop.
It's going to be January 24th,730 Eastern Standard Time.
Eastern Standard Time 530 pmMountain Standard Time.
Would love to have you there.
It's going to be really highenergy, really fun, really
action-oriented and it is goingto be like more tangible than
(05:53):
just listening to this podcast.
So highly, highly, highlysuggest jumping in live for that
workshop.
So, yeah, today's episode.
Like I said, I really feel likeI have harnessed this
unstoppable energy over the lasttwo years and if you look at
like, if you've been around, youknow that the past few years
(06:13):
have been a really difficultjourney, health-wise and just
with life circumstances.
But it's also been reallypowerful because I choose for it
to be right.
It could be easy to have ourcircumstances take power over us
, right?
And that's just not what we'rehere for.
We're here to harness that.
We're here to turn that intoour power, right.
(06:33):
So I'll just loop you in Ifyou've never been here before.
I was diagnosed with ulcerativecolitis in 2019 and I got into
remission and I didn't reallylike.
I definitely took action.
I definitely learned from thatexperience.
I definitely started going downa more aligned path for me, but
(06:53):
I definitely had some missingpieces in my life that I didn't
really realize until my latestflare that I had in 2022.
So last year, around last year,I was experiencing a really
severe flare of my ulcerativecolitis and that was when I
truly believed that I reallystepped in to the woman that I
(07:14):
am today, where I have mademassive lifestyle changes.
I cut out alcohol.
I cut out.
You know I'm very mindful ofthe food that I'm eating.
I, you know, really took, tookmyself out of it and looked at
the way that my life was going.
I was hustling in a businessthat didn't really feel aligned.
I was overworking myself therewere just a lot of other things
(07:35):
that I know were not helping mein that situation that I took
those lessons and I movedforward.
I made those changes in my lifeand I also really started
working on the belief that Icould heal myself.
So, prior to that flare, I wasjust taking medication and I
also, in the back of my mind, was always really fearful of
(07:57):
another flare.
And through that experience in2022, I started to rewire my
brain and surround myself withpeople that were self-healers,
that were healing themselves, soI could really start to rewire
my brain and started believingthat I could also heal myself.
So it was through theselifestyle changes.
It was through actively tellingmyself that I am my own healer.
(08:20):
It was through doing breathwork and meditations and really
being mindful of the thoughtsthat I was having in my head,
versus constantly having thatfear in the back of my mind that
, oh, I'm going to put myselfinto a flare.
I had to be really mindful, bring a lot of awareness into
myself of the thoughts that Iwas having and I also, like I
(08:42):
said, I was really learning whatwas working and what wasn't
working.
Me telling myself that I'mgoing to flare was going to
cause me a flare, me not reallysupporting my body, me hustling
in my business, me having mynervous system on overdrive,
like all of that stuff was notgoing to serve me.
So over the last year I havebeen really focusing on all of
those aspects.
Right, I took action from thatand the result is I do not have
(09:07):
to let my ulcerative clitis holdme back.
One of my biggest fears withhaving a chronic illness if you
have a chronic illness is thatwe sometimes can feel so limited
of like I will never be able totravel the world again.
That was a story that I had.
I will never be able to like Iwill just have to kind of get by
life.
All of my dreams are going tobe crushed.
Right, I am actively choosingto not subscribe to that story.
(09:31):
Right, I'm subscribing to thestory that I get to heal myself,
I get to live my dream life, Iget to do all of these things
and it's through that being thestory that I'm playing in my
head but also aligning my lifeto for that to make sense.
Like I'm making the lifestylechanges.
I'm rewiring my beliefs, I'msurrounding myself with people
who are self healers.
(09:52):
I'm putting myself in acompletely different environment
, essentially to be able to havethat be my reality, if that
makes sense, right?
It's not just thinking thesethoughts, it's also making the
changes in your life thatreflect that reality, right?
So that is one way that I havebecome unstoppable when it comes
to my chronic illness.
Right, I'm actively on thatjourney, like probably for the
(10:14):
rest of my life.
It's always reminding myselflike I am my own healer and
actively just choosing adifferent life, choosing a
different lifestyle.
You know, that's one way that Ihave really become unstoppable.
And the other way, that is mostrecent, that I've become
unstoppable is like, if you'vebeen here, you know that I
(10:35):
recently moved back home, to myhometown to support my mom as
she's been navigating healthissues, and I left Colorado and
you know that in itself wasdifficult to come to the
realization because I felt likeI was setting myself back.
I guess you could say when I inreality I wasn't, and I had
(10:56):
that story in my head of likeall my dreams are going to go
out the window, I'm not going tohave the space to work on my
business, I'm not going to, I'mgoing to shut everything down.
And I had this thought of likehow can I run a business about
being limitless when I feel solimited?
Right, and I was telling myselfthat story, that I was limited.
And it was through being ableto take myself out of that
situation and looking that, oh,my goodness, I have always
(11:20):
wanted to be a digital nomad,I've always wanted to be an
entrepreneur, right, and memoving home to support my mom.
I actually, if I am intentionalabout it, I can actually use
that time to work on my business, as I can actually use that
time to take steps in thatdirection.
And that does not me.
Moving home does not have tolimit me as much as I was
(11:42):
telling myself in my head thatit did right, but it was through
being able to take myself outof it, being able to look at the
big picture and see thatopportunity.
Right, it's sometimes lookingat our circumstances as an
opportunity, right, it's takingourselves out of it.
It is being able to reflect onwhat, maybe the lessons that
we're trying to learn in thisseason, right, I think having
(12:04):
that perspective of like whenwe're so zoomed into our
circumstances, of course we'regoing to feel limited sometimes,
of course we're going to feellike things are happening to us.
But if we're able to zoom outand see, we can see that this is
actually happening for us,right?
And that's the other way thatI've really become unstoppable,
because I had that story of likethis is limiting me, this is
(12:27):
going to dim me, this is goingto hold me back, and it's not
Because I've become unsuppable.
I'm still actively workingtowards my dreams.
I know that I will become adigital nomad.
I will be traveling the world,I will have all the dreams that
I want in my life, and this isthe other thing is that a lot of
times, when we have thesedreams planted on our heart, we
(12:50):
assume that they have to happenright now.
Right, and they don't Doesn'tmean that it's for you right now
.
Like you know, I went to Mexicoand I had an Iowasca ceremony,
and in my Iowasca ceremony itbecame very clear to me that my
next step in life was going tobe Greece.
And when I realized that I wasgoing to have to move home, that
(13:10):
dream of moving to Greece feltcrushed.
And one of the things that I'vebeen really leaning into and
during this season of life islike OK, just because I'm in
this season of life right nowdoes not mean that this is my
forever.
It does not mean that thatdream of moving to Greece is
gone, right, I had to activelyremind myself of that.
So this is the power of yourmindset when it comes to
(13:31):
becoming unsuppable, right, like.
This is what I mean when I saybecoming unsuppable is like,
your circumstances right now arenot the end of your dreams
happening, it is just thebeginning.
Really, it's taking theseexperiences that we're having
and turning them into power.
It's turning them intosomething to outcomeize, to
(13:51):
create something from it.
Right, and that's really howyou become unstoppable.
And this is what I'm going to bewalking you through in the
workshop that I'm hosting nextweek, january 24th, at 7 30
Eastern Standard Time, 5 30 pmMountain Standard Time, in the
community.
So head to the show notes andclick down there join the
community.
And that's how you can jointhis workshop for completely
(14:14):
free.
The zoom link will be sent onlyout only to community members.
So, like I said, in thisworkshop we're going to gain
clarity on your path.
What are your dreams, right?
What are the things that youwant to continue moving forward
to?
Right, recognizing that, hey, there are going to be Situations
, there is going to becircumstances that are going to
(14:37):
try to get in your way.
That's just life right, buthelping you build that
unstoppable mindset.
So you do not let that hold youback.
And maybe right now there'sstories there's, there are
circumstances that are going on.
How can we help you moveforward?
So this workshop is going to bevery action oriented and it's
really going to give you a kickin the butt to start off 2024,
(14:57):
to become more unstoppable.
