Speaker 1 (00:00):
this experience has
just taught me so much about
just being in flow with life, like we can put ourselves in the
direction of our dreams byfollowing our intuitions and,
you know, yes, just becomingpeople that we want to be,
essentially just having theintention every single day to
become the person that we wantto be, and that, literally, is
going to lead you exactly whereyou're supposed to go with all
(00:21):
the dreams that are meant tohappen for you.
Hey, girlfriend, welcome toJourney to Limitless podcast.
Together on the show, we're ona mission to build belief in
ourselves and live a life offreedom, despite what tries to
hold us back.
I'm your host, court, anempowerment coach, travel
enthusiast and a chronic illnesswarrior who, over the last
seven years, has built a lifethat I'm so obsessed with and
(00:42):
proud of, but it definitely hasnot come easy.
So on the show, we're going tokeep it real as we talk about
adapting positive mindsetsthrough hardship, taking action
towards our dreams and findingpeace and freedom from hustle,
culture and chronic stress.
Are you with me?
Let's get going on your ownjourney to limitless.
Welcome back to another episodeof the podcast.
It feels so good to be heretoday because I took a break
(01:06):
from the podcast last week.
If you come back every week, you may have noticed there was
no episode.
I was supposed to put thisepisode out last week but my
body was just like take a break, right.
I could feel that I was not inthe energy that I really wanted
to be in and that I could feelthat my body just really was
saying no.
And it just feels so good tohonor our nose and to take the
(01:27):
breaks, because that truly ishow we will have the energy that
we really want to have towardsour creative endeavors.
So I will have a whole otherpodcast episode about that,
because it felt so good Icouldn't even tell you and it
feels so good today to honormyself and to come back with
that energy that I really wantto have.
So I will be doing a wholeother episode about that.
(01:47):
So have no fear.
But today's episode I reallyjust wanted to do a life update,
because there has been a lot oflife happening.
As you may have seen, on socialmedia I have been dropping
hints about a nine yearmanifestation and today I want
to share that with you because Ican officially share it,
because I put the down paymenton it and it's happening.
(02:08):
And, yeah, I just kind of wantto share where I am right now in
life and kind of the directionthat I think that I'm going
right, because, truly, thispodcast is all about helping you
on your journey to limitless, meaning, helping you create a
life where you do not put limitson yourself and you believe
that anything that's possibleand your dreams are happening
and you're not letting yourcircumstances hold you back.
(02:29):
Right.
And I just think it's importantto loop you in on how I am
doing that in my life, as it'shappening right.
So I'm just super, superexcited to bring you along my
journey to limitless.
So I hope that you'll love thisepisode.
If you do, you can always letme know.
One of the best ways to do that, easiest ways to do that, is to
take a screenshot of youlistening to the podcast right
(02:50):
now, and you can post thescreenshot on your Instagram
stories and tag me.
I am at journey to limitlessunderscore.
That is great for two reasonsbecause, first of all, you allow
me the chance to say thank youto you personally.
I always like to definitelyjust send you a message and say
thank you, and it also, you know, lets your friends know that,
(03:11):
hey, I'm really enjoying thispodcast and you may enjoy it as
well, and it just helps thepodcast grow and I just really
really appreciate that.
So, if you do that, I just wantto thank you ahead of time and
I just appreciate it.
So, jumping into today's episode, like I said, I'm going to be
talking about a big life updateand it just feels so good to
(03:32):
finally be able to share thisbecause I have been jumping
hints for like the past twomonths about a dream that is
happening in my life.
That feels crazy, to even say.
It feels like it just feelswild that this is happening
because my 20 year old versionof myself is freaking out, that
(03:52):
the stream is here.
And it feels so good because Ijust know that you know I
deserve this and I've workedreally hard to to become the
person that this dream couldhappen for, essentially, at
first, when we think about anine year dream happening, we're
like what?
Why did it take nine years?
(04:14):
Why did this dream take nineyears to happen?
It should have happened sooner.
But the reality is I look backat it and my 20 year old version
of myself was not the personthat could handle this dream to
happen, even though that Ithought that I was and I truly
wouldn't take this opportunityhappening right now over any
other time.
This opportunity could happenBecause it's truly happening in
(04:35):
such a special, special way andalso it's just trusting in our
journey.
I think this experience ofhaving this nine year dream
happen is just really teachingme that we never know the
timelines of our life and we cannever determine.
A lot of times our ego cancreate this timeline, but it's
like oftentimes it's not thetimeline that things are meant
(04:59):
to happen.
You know, I talk a lot aboutgoing after our dreams and
taking action and all of thesethings, but at the same time, I
do not believe in forcing adream to happen.
I think that we can take theaction and become the person
that we want to be and do thefollowing our intuition,
following our gut instincts, andthat can lead us to our dreams
(05:21):
truly.
But I do not believe in forcingour dreams to happen and I tell
myself, I remind myself of thatwhen my ego can be like this
dream should have happenedsooner, it's like well, hold up,
I was becoming the person thatI want to be.
So nine years, the past nineyears, was not wasted and I
truly feel so confident in thisdream happening right now, and I
(05:43):
became the person that thisdream could manifest for,
essentially.
So, yeah, so if right now, youare waiting for a dream to
happen maybe this has been anine year dream, or I don't even
know, maybe a five year, whatever I think I hope that at
least in this episode, you canhave faith that your dreams will
happen, as long as they aremeant for you and that, as long
(06:06):
as you're becoming the personthat you want to be, your dream,
the waiting period is notwasted, and I hope that that can
just serve as a reminder foryou and just remind you that you
never know, on the day to daybasis, how you are setting up
for your dreams to manifest, andI hope that the story of how
(06:27):
this dream came into my life Ihope it can give you hope that
you're setting yourself up foryour dreams to manifest
ultimately.
So I will just go ahead andshare with you what this dream
is, because I'm sure you're liketell me already I've had a lot
of people messaging me like whatis this nine year manifestation
?
So the nine year manifestationis I am buying a tiny house,
(06:50):
which is crazy to even say thisBecause, like I said, this has
been a dream since 2015, since Iwas 20 years old.
I remember being 20 years oldand first finding out about tiny
houses.
I immediately created aPinterest board, a Pinterest
file.
What is it Folder on Pinterestthat I've been continuously
(07:10):
adding to over the last nineyears?
And I was so obsessed with tinyhouses and I remember on my
road trip that I took in 2015,my first big adventure we saw a
tiny house pretty quickly onthat trip and I was just
freaking out.
I even saw a tiny house inOregon and I was freaking out.
And that trip and being soobsessed with tiny houses, I
(07:36):
started really diving deep intoit.
My first solo trip that I evertook, I took a road trip from my
hometown in Maryland toPhiladelphia for a two day
workshop on how to build a tinyhouse.
So I learned from TumbleweedTiny House Community Tumbleweed
Tiny House Builders.
I was there for two daysstraight in workshops learning
(07:57):
how to build a tiny house.
I did the whole packet andeverything and I was so dead set
on doing it and I felt like itneeded to happen right then, or
also it was never going tohappen.
If I'm going to be truly honest,I just know that if my 20 year
old version of myself knew thatthis dream would take nine years
, she would be pissed.
You know what I mean.
And I remember, even when I wasplanning to move to Colorado, I
(08:21):
remember I distinctly wrote aFacebook status saying like, hey
, I'm moving to Colorado and myplan is I'm going to buy a tiny
house.
And even when I was living inColorado, you know, the thing
about this tiny house dream islike, yes, it has been a dream
for nine years, but over theyears this dream has kind of
(08:41):
dwindled in and out like it'salways been my truth.
It's always been like my, mystar, I guess you could say my
North Star, and it's always beenthe thing that I always come
back to, like whenever I comeback to a line, and it's like,
ooh, tiny house, right, and.
But I've had a lot of otherdreams in my life, like
traveling the world, I'mstarting a podcast, starting a
(09:02):
business and Just like I don'tknow, just doing, like having a
lot of life experiences thatsometimes I felt like I could
get off track.
And then, once I get back ontrack, it's like, oh yeah, tiny
house.
I forgot about that right andWhenever I like got back on
track, I was like fool in it,like looking up all the research
(09:23):
, all of the things.
And I remember, even when I wasliving in Colorado, when I
first moved, I remember postinga status of like does anyone
have any land that I can put atiny house?
Even though I had no Like noidea how I was even gonna do
this tiny house.
And, like I said, the past nineyears this dream has kind of
dwindled in and out, but withouteven realizing it.
(09:43):
Over the last nine years I wassetting myself up for this dream
to manifest.
So, basically, how this dreamhappened, how it's happening
right now the tiny house thatI'm buying is I'm buying this
tiny house from a really closefriend of mine.
She has lived in tiny houses Ithink she's lived in two or
three of them and she recentlyjust bought one with no idea of
(10:04):
why she was buying it.
She was on Facebook markmarketplace and just felt this
pool that she needed to buy thistiny house and she is in the
process of rebuilding it.
Like she got it in everythingand she had no idea of why she
was buying it.
Essentially and, essentially, Imanifested this opportunity in
(10:26):
my life because, like I said, over the last nine years could
be so easy to be like all thisdream wasn't happening, but it
was by me listening to the callto move to Colorado, by me
moving to Denver, by me, youknow, diving deep into personal
development, by me deciding tojoin a community dedicated to
personal development, by mefeeling this pool towards this
(10:50):
person, without any idea why andI don't not saying that tiny
house is why because I justgenuinely love this person and
I'm inspired by this person.
But, you know, I felt this pulltowards her and I felt this
pull towards, you know, gettingto know her more deeply and
joining women circles with her,and that led to this opportunity
(11:11):
in my life.
So I could sit here and look atand be like the past nine years
was wasted.
This dream should have happenedsooner.
Or I can be like, wow, thisdream was happening all along,
every single time that Ilistened to my intuition, every
single time that I felt thatpool.
It was leading me to thishappening right here, right now,
and I truly would not want thisdream happening any other way.
(11:33):
Like, this opportunity is reallyspecial I get to not only buy
this tiny house from a friendwho is putting so much intention
and love Into this, but I getto be a part of the build
process.
So I Went to Colorado a fewweeks ago and I got to look at
the tiny house and as soon as Ieven saw it it At 10 o'clock at
(11:53):
night, just peeking out herbackyard, it's being built in
her backyard right now it justfelt like a yes, like my body
was like, oh, my god, that isyours right.
And it just felt so good andyeah.
So I got to go to Home Depot.
I got to go inside and, likeyou know, see how she was kind
of planning to do it, and I gotto go to Home Depot and kind of,
(12:14):
you know, pick out the fixtures, pick out the cabinet colors
and all of these things.
And it is just such a specialOpportunity and, like I said,
the fact that it's coming frommy friend, like I would not want
this opportunity to behappening any other way and I
just hope that that gives youhope that, like your dreams are
(12:35):
going to happen on a timelinethat you don't even know, and
even if right now it feels likeyour dreams are not happening.
It's having that trust that, like you're being led into the
direction that you are meant togo.
I have just been thinking a lotabout, like the soul's journey,
right, and how we do not knowthe timelines and how we do not
(12:55):
Like every single time thatwe're listening to our intuition
, like we're literally creatingour story.
We are creating our journey, right, our journey is being
unfolded, as every single dayand every single time that we
listen to the intuitions and weFollow our curiosities, like
we're unfolding our life.
And that's just such a excitingand beautiful Concept that I
(13:15):
literally think about so much, right, and I don't know, just
gives me a lot of peace.
I think I have a lot of this.
Experience has just taught meso much about just being in flow
with life, like we can putourselves in the direction of
our dreams by following ourintuitions and you know, yes,
just becoming people that wewant to be, essentially, just
(13:36):
having the intention everysingle day to become the person
that we want to be and that, literally, is going to lead you
exactly where you're supposed togo with all the dreams that are
meant to happen for you, andthat's just such a cool concept,
right, like gives me a lot ofpeace.
I hope it gives you a lot ofpeace.
So so, yeah, that is thenine-year manifestation, and
when I'm at right now with thisis so, essentially, I Came back
(13:59):
to Maryland and, as you may haveknown, I have been here helping
my mom.
I moved back here, so I wasliving in Colorado for seven
years, basically, and I ended upleaving Colorado in November to
move back home to help my momFor a bit as she was navigating
some health issues.
But my mom was doing reallyreally well and that in itself
(14:20):
is kind of giving me, like youknow, kind of I feel like I'm
kind of on the ledge of like, okay, what am I doing next?
Right, like I don't.
You know my mom's doing reallywell, what am I gonna do now?
And this tiny house opportunity, it's just like giving me
direction, right, and you know, the past few months of living
here in Maryland I have not hada job because, you know, my mom
needed pretty much around theclock care and, with her doing
(14:41):
so much better, it's giving methis space to, like, you know,
okay, I can get a job now.
And Essentially, when I was inColorado, I was at archipelago,
which is the place that I metthis woman at, by the way, I was
sitting up in the attic and Iwas like on some job forums, you
know, trying to figure out, youknow, a job, and I was honestly
feeling a bit overwhelmedbecause I'm only planning to be
(15:03):
here until the end of May inMaryland, and this tiny house is
Going to be ready between Apriland May and it needs to be
moved off of her property byJune.
So I'm like, okay, well, I'm notgonna be in Maryland for that
much longer and I don't reallywant to spend my time searching
(15:23):
for jobs.
I would so much rather like geta job and start making money as
soon as possible so I can applyfor a loan, right, like,
obviously, I need to figure outhow to pay for this, this dream,
right?
So it, you know.
I then also Remembered, when Iwas sitting up there, starting
to feel a bit overwhelmed aboutfinding a job, I was like, well,
(15:46):
I just went into my oldrestaurant so I used to work at.
I worked at this restaurant forseven years Between different
states, so in Maryland andColorado, I all together I
worked at this restaurant forseven years and I told myself
that I would never work thereever again, quite literally.
And I, my mom and I, went aneight there about two weeks
(16:08):
before this and I remember I wastalking to one of the girls I
used to work with, who is now amanager, and I was like I should
reach out, was like my, myintuition came in and was like
Just reach out to her.
So I met, I ended up messagingher on Facebook.
I'm just like, hey, I'm curiousif you all are hiring for
bartenders, servers or anything.
And they were so, basically, that day I had a job pretty much
(16:30):
set and I'm working at thisrestaurant now that I told
myself I would never work atever again.
And it's like I had to swallowmy pride a bit.
And I will say that, you know, working at a restaurant that I
told myself that I would neverwork at has definitely been a
journey, because you know, it'svery easy to feel like, oh my
(16:50):
god, I'm taking steps backward,I'm working at a place that I
never I told myself I wouldnever work out, like I'm a
failure, I'm messing up all ofthese things, like that's one
side of it, or it can be likeThinking of a slingshot right,
like my friend actually wastelling me this the other day.
It's like she was asking it'slike, how are you doing, like
working at a restaurant that youused to work at, you know, when
you were like 18 years old?
(17:10):
Like, do you feel?
Like you're kind ofbacktracking?
And I was like, yes, I do, but,and you know, but I have to
think like I'm doing this for areason.
Right, I'm doing this forsomething bigger than me and I'm
not the same person that I waswhen I was 18 years old, right,
and it's like learning how toswallow our pride in pursuit of
our dreams.
And I think this is just suchthe thing that's not talked
(17:31):
about enough when it comes to adream is like we see all the
time like, oh, follow yourdreams, become an entrepreneur,
all of these things, do thethings.
And a lot of times ourcircumstances are not perfect in
pursuit of this, and like thatis totally okay.
Like, yes, I'm working at arestaurant that I told myself I
would never work at, but I'mdoing it because a dream, a
(17:52):
literal dream, is manifesting inmy life and I will swallow my
pride a bit in order to makethis dream happen and I'm just
really proud of myself forgetting out of my own way and
pushing my ego aside to be likeso focused on making this dream
happen, right, like the streamis here and I'm not gonna let it
slip, right.
So.
But essentially, what she wassaying was, like the slingshot,
(18:15):
it's like it feels like, youknow, you're being pulled back
to that old situation, butyou're actually gonna be flung
forward into something deeper.
And I was like, well, yeah, duh, because this, you know, I'm
literally gonna have this tinyhouse which I have wanted for
nine years.
So, yes, pulling myself back to, you know, a starting ground, I
guess, a place that I never,you know, I told myself I would
(18:37):
never want to be, but it's somuch bigger than that because
I'm gonna be flung forward evenmore, right.
So I think sometimes, when weare, you know, in situations
that we don't want to be or feellike we're back to where we
started, we're not, becausewe're not the same person as
when we started and we're trulygonna be flung into deeper,
(18:58):
deeper alignment, deeper purpose, deeper into the direction that
we're meant to go.
So, so, yeah.
So that's the timeline rightnow.
So I'm gonna be in Marylanduntil the end of May and then
from there I'm going to Colorado, gonna be living on her
property for a month to test outthe tiny house and make sure
that it's working andeverything's going good, and I
(19:21):
essentially from there andfiguring out where I'm going
after that.
I may be moving it to a pieceof property outside of the
Denver area in Brighton, or Imay be moving it to Durango,
colorado, which is like a wholeother lifestyle change.
Or I may be moving toWashington, or I literally have
no idea what I'm doing afterthis tiny house.
(19:43):
But I will figure it out and Ithink that you know it's easy to
subscribe to like oh my god,it's like.
Can feel nerve-wracking, to belike I don't know what I'm doing
next, but it's like.
Or you can choose to be in theexcitement of like there's so
much possibility.
What am I gonna do next?
You know so.
It's just that perspectiveswitch of how we choose to look
at the unknown, right?
So so, yeah, this was just a bitof a life update for you.
(20:07):
I hope that you're finding somepeace in your journey of
sitting in the unknown or whenyou're in the waiting period for
a dream to happen.
Just continue to focus on justbecoming the person that you
want to be.
I think that's like the bestpiece of advice that I have,
because don't get so hung up onthe timelines, right?
And I do just want to make surethat I tell you about my
(20:30):
one-on-one coaching programcalled Reclaim, which you know.
I also was just thinking aboutthis the other day about how, if
you know, on a day-to-day basisit can feel like nothing is
changing, right, and we feellike every single thing that
we're doing doesn't matter.
But then when we look back wecan see that so much has changed
.
And Isn't it just crazy tothink about how a lot of times
(20:52):
that happens when we're not evenbeing intentional about it.
Can you imagine what happenswhen we take intentional action
and we intentionally become theperson that we want to be?
It is absolutely mind-blowingthe transformation that can
happen in life when it comes tobecoming the person that you
want to be and taking thatintentional action,
(21:14):
accountability is a reallyimportant part of this journey.
I would be honored to supportyou.
I do have a one-on-one coachingprogram called Reclaim, which is
a three-month program to takeback your power, regardless of
your circumstances, and pave apath towards greater confidence,
freedom and joy and becomingthat person that you desire.
This program would be great foryou.
If you're like, yes, I am readyto be intentional about
(21:37):
becoming the person that Idesire and you're seeing the
possibilities of what can happenin your life and you're ready
to call in more confidence, morefreedom, more joy, more of who
you want to be, I would behonored to support you.
This program would be great foryou.
If you're wanting to start apodcast, wanting to launch a
business, wanting to leave yourhometown and move to your dream
(21:58):
city, or maybe you just have adifferent dream that you have
and you're just ready to callthat in becoming the person that
you want to be, and beingintentional is a really
important part of that processI'd be honored to support you in
that.
I will plug more information inthe show notes for you.
I'll plug the link to thewebsite so you can scroll the
page and find out allinformation, and I'll also plug
(22:20):
the link to join the waitlist.

By joining the waitlist, youwill automatically be enrolled
to receive that one-on-one bonuscall if you join the program.
Joining the waitlist is justthe next step in us hopping on a

you.
I highly recommend just joiningthe waitlist if this even
intrigues you just a little bit.

good fit.
