SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
In the last episode,
guys, we talked about my first
achievement, okay?
Earning$50.
So I I earned my my first$50.
Someone trusted me enough, basically, to make their first
payment for the journey toSuccess Clap on my Soupstack.
(00:20):
However, I felt strange aboutit.
I didn't feel as accomplished asI had hoped.
And I also experienced a senseof guilt, you know.
I mean, deep down, I really wantto be genuinely about the
success.
And I wasn't.
So through our discussion, werealized the importance of
(00:43):
comparing the milestones we setwith the actual value of our
accomplishments.
So, in a few words, in short, ifyour milestone is solely about
money, don't expect thatreaching your first$10,$20,$50
or whatever will bring you thesatisfaction you desire.
(01:06):
It doesn't work like that.
Okay, it doesn't work that way.
When you assign value only tosomething materialistic, you
cannot expect to receivespiritual fulfillment or
happiness in return.
Okay.
Yes, of course, achieving yourfirst paycheck can bring joy.
(01:26):
But it's not the paycheck itselfthat truly brings happiness,
okay?
The reality is that money is anindirect consequence of your
actions.
Whether those actions are goodor bad, okay, that's it's up to
you, of course.
But the better your actions, themore satisfied you will feel.
(01:48):
And as a result, of course, money will follow, money will
come.
Okay.
So in the meantime, it'sessential to be grateful for
your journey.
Appreciate the first paycheckand be thankful for those who
take the time to listen to you, check upon you, follow you,
support you.
So embrace the entireexperience, you know, the entire
(02:11):
package, and you will avoidfalling into the same trap that
I did.
Hi guys, my name is Fabio fromJourney to Success and welcome.
Everything I'm speaking to youabout is something I have
already studied, alright?
It's something that I always tryto get the right knowledge for
it.
(02:31):
So I know that money is not thesolution.
I always knew that.
What I've done so far is to givevalue to all of you.
You know, value is veryimportant in all this story when
we when we are when in our mindwe want to achieve a certain
goal, a certain purpose, right?
(02:53):
Value is something that has tostick in your brain.
Okay, so giving value is theanswer.
We know that.
However, when I first receivedmy first paycheck, right, I
really learned an importantlesson that I want to express uh
here in this episode.
And this this motivational quotecomes from uh Albert Einstein.
(03:18):
So Albert Einstein said, try notto become a man of success, but
rather become a man of value.
It's interesting.
It's interesting this quote.
Also, if you we consider, youknow, that the title of my
podcast is Journey to Success,alright?
(03:39):
Suggesting that success, theword success is the key, is the
the the key the key word of mytitle.
But success without value islike a space without oxygen.
So no matter how infinite thepossibilities may be, guys,
without value, you can onlyobserve.
(04:01):
Okay, so you cannot progress, you cannot make progress.
So, what what are basically thesteps to becoming a man of
value?
How can one achieve this?
Several key elements but must beconsidered, of course, on the
path to success.
(04:22):
And in this podcast today, ourgoal is to especially to help
you achieve success withawareness and mental stability
while staying grounded, right?
While staying on the ground.
So, one important aspect of thisjourney is of course the
(04:42):
practice of celebration.
That's what we're gonna talkabout today.
Today, I want to delve deeperinto this concept, the concept
of celebration, especially sinceI nearly missed the chance to
celebrate when I received myfirst paycheck.
Okay, so acknowledging andcelebrating your milestones is
(05:05):
absolutely essential, and Iwould like to discuss why this
is so crucial for your journey.
But before going forward, asalways, please subscribe, guys.
Alright, so I know this is theright direction to lead you, to
drive you, to guide you towardsyour journey to success.
(05:26):
Let's get started, alright?
As always.
So, when the day I received myfirst paycheck, okay, I had a
call with my fiance.
And she said to me, Hello, howare you?
Are you happy with your firstmoney?
And uh I remember I repliedsomething like, Yeah, I guess
(05:51):
so, but I wish I felt happier.
I don't know if I fully processit yet.
Then I say, like, actually, youknow what, I have to go because
I'm I'm busy writing my nextepisode, I have to do this, I
have to do that, have so much todo right now.
And then she said, Whoa, whoa, whoa, just a moment.
You should take a break anddance.
(06:13):
You should do something, like, but mostly you should enjoy
yourself.
So why are not you doing that?
She said to me.
So you should do nothing today,or you know, and anything rather
than uh working on my project.
And her words, guys, made methink, made me think.
(06:35):
I realized she was right, okay.
Why was not I celebrating this?
So this was an achievement forme, maybe was the the
achievement I had been waitingfor for a long time right now,
you know.
So one of the first things Irecognized was that I was still
(06:58):
projecting myself into thefuture and not fully enjoying
the present.
And uh for this, I would like todig a little bit deeper into
this point.
The future, guys, willeventually become your present,
okay?
But if you are too focused onthe future, like in my case, for
(07:22):
example, in the case of a lot ofpeople like me, you can lose
touch with the present moment,okay?
So that's the first point that Iwant to highlight here.
So when you desire to achievesomething that requires a lot of
energy, that can be your career,uh, it can be uh starting a
family, having a child,launching a business project,
(07:45):
you know, whatever, you areessentially projecting yourself
into the future, okay?
We often see ourselves astravelers in this journey, you
know.
However, if you are so, let'ssay, absorbed in what lies
after, you may literally missout on your present, okay?
(09:13):
So when you come to thisrealization, guys, it can be
confusing.
That's what happened with me.
So you might feel disconnectedfrom your present self because
you have been too focused on thefuture, okay?
Thinking like, wait a moment, Ineed to return to the present.
(09:34):
Being highly focused on thefuture, guys, can make it
difficult to celebrate yourcurrent achievements, okay?
Since you are always, alwaysprojecting yourself forward,
okay.
So the first step I took, youknow, after the scroll with my
elf was to ground myself in thepresent.
(09:55):
So I stopped everything, Iclosed everything I was doing, I
closed my computer and didnothing.
Nothing.
Like I I I went out, I walked,you know, I walked uh, think
about the act of walking, I madea coffee, think about the act of
(10:15):
make a coffee.
So I was really trying to be inthe present again, me and the
present.
That's it, okay.
So the day when I had the callwith my fiance, and when she
made me realize that I workedwith myself to re-associate with
(10:36):
the present, okay?
So I reached out to all theparts of myself that were too
much for too long in the future.
So I asked the version of mefrom The Journey to Success Clap
on Soupstack to be present, aswell as the podcaster version of
myself to be present.
(10:57):
And I did the same for the partof me that had achieved the
milestone of earning$50, allright?
Reminding him that this was agreat accomplishment and that
Fabio should focus on thepresent moment to celebrate this
achievement.
Okay, so basically, I was stilltoo much in the future.
(11:18):
I was still planning, stillchasing something, you know.
But the the solution in thiscase is just walk in in the
present.
Okay, that's it.
So acknowledging that I had beentoo focused on the future was
challenging, honestly.
I had been living that mindsetfor over a decade, guys.
(11:39):
But it was time to call my innerwarriors and say, guys, it's
time to return to the present.
Let's take a break today, youknow?
Because only by doing this canwe truly celebrate.
Okay.
So you cannot celebrate if youare still in the future, if you
are still if you are still uhplanning something, you need to
(12:03):
be in the present.
In my case, it was like youknow, when when I declare to my
to my uh future fabius to be inthe present.
For me, it was like a group ofVikings returning home to have a
party, you know, enjoy somedrinks, enjoy my achievement,
and share joyful moments withtheir stories, you know.
(12:28):
So this is very important.
You need to be in the in thepresent, especially it.
I mean, uh, it's it's normal youare projecting yourself in the
future to understand how toachieve your milestones, right?
But at the same time, it's alsoimportant to go back in the
(12:48):
present, to be with your people,to in this case to celebrate
your milestones, okay?
Another way to celebrate is byenjoying something you love.
In fact, so in my case, thatmeans food, okay?
So I say to my elf, hey, youknow what?
Let's celebrate today by eatingoutside.
(13:09):
It was beautiful.
We laughed, we we enjoyed, wediscussed the fact that I had
realized I was projecting toomuch into the future still.
But now was the time to rest alittle bit, you know, establish
a healthy routine, andespecially to celebrate the fact
that someone trusts me enough tospend their time, their energy,
(13:31):
and uh their money.
So, saying that, okay, I foundthis article on at
tonirobins.com, and this articlesays in this way seven ways to
celebrate success.
Okay, so we're we are takingthis title as an example, and we
(13:55):
are taking these uh seven waysto celebrate success, but we are
gonna answer based on myexperience, okay?
Based on what happened to me,and I'm sure the experience of
many of you.
So the first way to celebratesuccess is take time for
self-care, okay?
(14:16):
Now, example.
A month ago, I bought this uhLego set.
I felt that Lego was somethingfor me, so I started this uh
new, let's say, as I could see, somewhat expensive hobby, and I
decided to build a Harry Potterbook, you know, the the Harry
(14:38):
Potter that book that eats thepage, and uh it was very I don't
know, the satisfaction was wasnice, I loved it, and uh and I
decided to do that to you knowto ground better myself in the
present.
I also bought a video game, uhFinal Fantasy 16, uh, you know,
(15:00):
but maybe you don't knowactually.
When I was younger, I enjoyedthe Final Fantasy series, and uh
I want to reconnect with myinner child.
And that I I I did just that,okay.
I've been wanting to watch goodanime again on Crunch Rolls
since I was an anime fan when Iwas younger, and I made sure to
(15:21):
to go out more as well, takebreaks, uh be careful about what
I eat, stay aware of thefestivities around me.
So basically, I focused on beingpresent and feeling that the
moment because as I said, thatpaycheck remind me that the fact
(15:43):
that I I I was missing out, youknow, to celebrate that paycheck
remind me that I was still toomuch in the future, okay.
Second way is spend time withthose you love, of course.
I always make an effort to bewith the people I love, guys,
regardless of how busy I am.
(16:04):
However, when you focus too muchon the future, you tend not to
be fully present, okay, withyour brain.
And uh I mean it's very sad.
It's very sad for yourself, it'svery sad for the people around
you.
Uh, even when you try to bepresent, it's still hard, okay?
So I made sure that this time Iwas with the people I love
(16:29):
without thinking about my workor future plans.
Another point is um the the thethird point is uh show your
thankfulness, all right.
What in this case thankfulness,we're talking about uh
appreciate appreciate whathappened around what is what
(16:51):
happened and what happens aroundyou.
So in this case, you have toacknowledge those who have
helped you.
It could be a note, could beanything, could be a
motivational quote, could beyour mentor, could be a
particular podcast host youlisten to, your family, your
partner, it doesn't matter.
From my experience, we oftentake credit for our
(17:14):
achievements, guys.
Thinking they are solely due toour efforts, okay?
I mean, hard work is important, yeah.
While hard work is important, while the journey to achieving
our goals is often lonely, weacknowledge that, I acknowledge
that, but we also have toremember that many people help
(17:37):
us along the way, whetherdirectly or indirectly, whether
you admit or not.
But when we focus too much onwhat lies ahead, what lies
forward, alright, we lose sightof those who supported us behind
our backs.
So remember to appreciate them.
(17:57):
Then we have number four.
Get creative, try something newand joyful, guys, like dancing.
I don't know, even if youhaven't never done it before.
So do something different in away that creates beautiful
memories from these experiencesthat can stick with your
(18:17):
milestones, okay?
In this case, they can stickbetter.
And then the the fifth one ispractice gratitude.
So be grateful.
Be grateful for the reasonsbehind your milestones, all
right?
So don't forget that yourachievements, guys, are often a
result of someone believing you.
(18:37):
So you have a responsibility tothe people who listen to you, to
follow to you and support yourjourney, okay?
Remember that.
Be spontaneous, number six.
So don't plan and schedule thetime you achieve your milestone,
all right?
So focus on the present and makechoices that come naturally in
the moment, okay?
So if your milestone comes in anunexpected way, don't plan or
(19:04):
schedule something for thefuture, you know, just be
spontaneous.
In this case, in this way, youcan be also creative about it.
And the last one, the seventhpoint that Tony Robbins
mentioned as uh the seventh theseventh way of success is use
(19:27):
successful as fuel.
So in this podcast, guys, wefrequently discuss energy, okay?
About three years ago, aroundthree years ago, I didn't have
many listeners and I wasn'tmaking money.
So I had to be creative with theenergy I could call to move
forward, all right?
(19:48):
So I paid attention to my smallnumber of listeners and pictured
them as one or two people in aclass, you know, something like
that.
And then when I I had uh threeor four listeners, or sometimes
five or six listeners, I justimagine myself, you know, still
in a class with three, four, five people used to listen to
(20:09):
me.
And this was a way to gainenergy from it, all right.
So I also ensured that myemployer's work was balanced as
well.
Give me the right energy toinvest in my podcast, okay?
And I literally train myself toget whatever energy I had to
keep progressing, okay?
And after two years and ninemonths now, I'm close to
(20:33):
reaching a significant milestonewhere I have a quantity of
downloads per episode that putsme ahead of 50% of podcasters,
so it's a great achievement.
And I'm I'm I'm grateful for it,you know, especially if we
consider where I started, how Istarted.
(20:54):
I also receive another secondpayment from a wonderful person,
from a wonderful human being.
And I also started doing livestreams where two listeners from
my podcast show up and expresstheir love for it.
And he didn't that touch mealso, you know.
It made me realize more and morethat behind the screen were not
(21:17):
numbers, but real peopleinvesting their time in someone,
investing their time in otherpeople, you know.
I also receive a message on myfan number, so someone spent
their money to send me apersonal message.
So the satisfaction from this isimmense, guys, and I'm truly
(21:37):
grateful.
And I will make sure tocelebrate every moment that
comes my way from now on andtake this unlimited full of
energy for my next self.
Okay, so these basically thesebasically are the seven ways to
success, but especially arethem, in my opinion, uh, are the
(22:02):
keys to uh feel grateful, be inthe present, and uh celebrate
your milestones.
Okay, so before we we wrap up,let's take a moment to reflect
on what we have discussed today, okay?
First of all, let's acknowledgethat this episode wasn't simply
(22:28):
about a paycheck, it was itwasn't even about the$50
actually, it was more about themoment behind the moment, okay?
The moment when you realize thatsuccess without presence doesn't
feel like success at all, okay?
So you need to be you need to bepresent with presence, and uh
(22:51):
only in this way you can uhcelebrate your goal.
And today we explore somethingalso pretty hidden, you know,
but powerful.
The truth that money nevercarries the emotional weight we
expect it to, okay?
We think about the first sale, the first subscriber, the first
paycheck.
(23:12):
We think it's gonna be likefireworks, but it doesn't work
like that.
Because when it finally arrives,we often feel confused, okay?
Underwhelmed, guilt even, likein my case.
That's exactly where I was,guys.
And we talk about the trap ofprojecting ourselves into the
future when our achievementsfinally show up, you know, we're
(23:36):
not even aware anymore.
So our mind is still three stepsahead, three steps forward,
planning, pushing, chasing.
And because of that, we skip thecelebration, okay?
We skip the joy, we skip themoment that was meant to fill
us.
That's why today's lesson is soimportant, guys.
(23:56):
So important.
When we don't celebrate thepresent, we deny ourselves the
emotional energy that fuels thenext chapter of our journey,
okay?
And uh, we also discuss thevalue of experiences, the
misconception that realsatisfaction comes from tangible
(24:19):
factors such as money, ratherthan from the spiritual benefits
gained from experiences, youknow.
Don't get me wrong, I mean, money is essential, they are
part of our journey.
No one can deny this factor.
But money, guys, is a byproduct,a shadow, a reflection of the
(24:39):
value you have created, okay?
No more, nothing more, andnothing less.
And when you consistently givevalue, you build something much
more profound than success.
You build trust, you buildimpact, you build uh you build
meaning.
And that is what your soulrecognizes, alright?
(25:02):
So, not the number you account, but the person you are becoming.
And lastly, today we looked atthe seven ways to celebrate
success.
Not as a cliche, but asinvitations to reconnect with
yourself, okay?
So we talk about self-care.
Not the commercial kind, but thekind that allows you to
(25:24):
reconnect with your inner child, where you let yourself build the
Lego sets, like in my case, playvideo games, watch anime, or
simply walk without rushinganywhere, right?
We talk about spending time withthe people you love and actually
being there, present.
Not think about the next task orthe next episode or the next
(25:46):
goal, okay?
We spoke about appreciation, howeasy it is to forget the people
who helped us get here, right?
The people who believed in uswhen the numbers didn't yet make
sense.
We talk about getting creative, guys, about doing something
different, something playful, something your future self will
(26:07):
remember, okay?
We discuss gratitude, not thesurface-level kind, let's say,
but the kind that roots you, thegratitude that reminds you that
someone's out there is givingyou their time, their energy,
their trust.
Okay, it's so beautiful.
And we discuss also to let go ofrigid plans, give yourself
(26:34):
permission to feel the moment,right?
Rather than uh try to controlit.
And finally, we discussed usingyour success as fuel.
Because success, guys, is a formof energy as everything in this
world, in this universe.
And when you let yourselfcelebrate it, you create
momentum, okay?
We often believe that momentumcomes from hard work alone, but
(26:57):
in reality, momentum comes fromjoy, from meaning.
It comes from the moment thatmakes you feel alive, okay?
And today I also reach anothermilestone in terms of
monetization, my second payment.
I'm so grateful.
I'm so grateful this time.
Well, I was grateful as wellbefore, but now I'm more in the
(27:21):
present and I realize more howmuch powerful can be this
achievement, you know, as wellas connecting with listeners
through live streams andreceiving messages from them,
uh, which reminds me that behindevery download, guys, behind
every view and behind everynumber, there is a real person,
(27:42):
okay.
Someone choosing to spend a partof their life with me.
Beautiful, just beautiful.
I mean, that blows my mind uhfor real, you know.
And this is fuel, this is fuel, this is value, this is success
with soul, with heartbeat, youknow.
(28:07):
And I guess that is the meaningof journey to success of this
podcast now.
I want to hear from you.
What milestone did you overlook?
What moment did you rushthrough?
What achievement did you call?
You know, it's not enough.
(28:28):
You know how many times I say,uh, looks like it's never
enough.
No, it is enough, it is enough,it's more than enough.
Okay, how would it feel to goback for you guys just for a
minute and celebrate properly?
Send me a message, share yourstory, or connect with me on
(28:48):
Soupstack.
I would love to know how youhonor your wins and how you
bring value into your ownjourney, okay?
And lastly, if you enjoyedtoday's episode, you already
know how important it is tosubscribe so you never miss an
update.
(29:09):
But what matters most, whatmatters even more, is sharing
this episode with someone whomight need a reminder to slow
down, celebrate the growth, andreconnect with the present
moment.
Thank you so much for being hereon Journey to Success.
And remember, together we're notjust chasing success, we are
(29:32):
becoming people of value, okay?
One round, intentional, step atime.
I'll see you in the nextepisode, guys.
Cheers.
