Send me a Text Message! I am Happy to Hear from You.

What if I told you that 100% of people face significant challenges in their lives? That's right—every single one of us encounters obstacles that test our resolve, shake our confidence, and sometimes even make us question our path.

In this deeply personal exploration of life's challenges, I break down the three major types of obstacles we all face: personal, professional, and emotional. Personal obstacles might be fear or self-doubt that holds you back. Professional obstacles appear as rejections or competitive markets that seem insurmountable. Emotional obstacles manifest as internal barriers—the voices telling you that you're not good enough or the weight of past experiences you haven't healed from.

But here's the good news: I'm sharing five powerful, actionable strategies that can help you overcome any challenge you're facing. You'll learn why remembering your "why" creates an emotional anchor during difficult times, how staying in motion prevents stagnation, and why being selective about the content you consume shapes who you become. I'll explain practical ways to find time for personal growth (hint: it's not about time, it's about priorities) and why celebrating small wins is crucial for maintaining momentum.

I even share my own journey—how I once dreamed of being a singer but didn't have the right mindset tools to achieve it, and how that experience shaped who I am today. Plus, we'll look at how Oprah Winfrey overcame poverty and abuse to become one of the most successful women in the world.

Whether you're facing personal doubt, professional setbacks, or emotional wounds, these strategies will empower you to transform obstacles into stepping stones on your journey to success. Remember, challenges don't define you—how you respond to them does. Share your experiences in the comments, and pass this episode along to someone who needs to hear this message today.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
How many people guys face significant challenges in
their lives?
Are we talking about 20%, maybe50% or even 70%?
Maybe 70% looks too much foryou, I don't know.
Hi guys, my name is Fabio fromJourney to Success, and welcome.
Typically, I like to sharestatistics from various studies.

(00:24):
Right, but this time it wasn'teasy.
Do you know why it wasdifficult?
Simple, because all of us facechallenges on our path.
100% of the population.
Each one of us faces challengesat some point in our lives.
Okay, Some struggles withfinancial issues, for example,

(00:48):
some can be with mental healthchallenges, and the others with
relationships.
Many find it difficult toconnect with the right community
.
I mean, there are challengesfor everyone, truly so, since
anyone face challenges, I can'texplain how to confront every

(01:10):
single one of them.
The first reason is because itwould be impossible.
First of all, of course, andfor another point, is that I'm
just a person like you.
You know, I don't claim to haveall the answers like Tony
Robbins or something, and surelyit doesn't have either.
The only difference between youand I is that I have the mic

(01:33):
here in my hand.
I constantly write any episodethat you kindly listen, all
right, and have the patience toget some information around, in
a way to acknowledge you.
The rest is love and passion tomake sure you can achieve
success as I.
However, today, what I can dofor us in this case is introduce

(01:59):
five general steps to help usovercome our challenges and
explain why it is important tohave strategies, in a way to
dive into obstacles.
But, as always, before to goforward, please subscribe.
So I know this is the rightdirection to drive you, to lead
you, to guide you towards yourjourney to success.

(02:21):
Journey to success, and let'sget started right as always.
So, as I said, I cannot discussa singular challenge with you,
but what I can do is discuss thevarious types of obstacles
people face, such as a personalobstacle, professional obstacle

(02:44):
and emotional obstacle.
So, before understanding whatare these five strategies to
overcome obstacles, let's diveinto these challenges.
All right.
First one is a personal obstacle.
A personal obstacle is thething inside you or around you
that stands in the way of whereyou want to go.

(03:06):
It's not something you choose.
It's something that shows upand tests your strength.
It could be fear, it could beself-doubt, it could be a lack
of time, guys, money, a lack ofenergy or even something deeper
right.
Like past experiences orlimiting beliefs, these

(03:27):
obstacles are personal becausethey are different for everyone,
guys.
What is easy for one personmight be a huge wall for someone
else, and that's okay, becausewhat matters is not how big the
obstacle is, but it is moreabout how you respond to it.

(03:48):
Okay, you see?
Personal obstacles, guys, arenot here to break you.
They're here to shape you, toforce you to grow, to push you,
to push you to become morecreative or right, more
disciplined, more brave.
So the real question is what isthe obstacle standing in your

(04:10):
way right now and, moreimportantly, what are you going
to do about it?
Now let's talk about somethingthat every dreamer, every
hustler and every entrepreneurfaces at some point right
Professional obstacles.
A professional obstacle isanything that gets in the way of
your career right, yourbusiness or your goals.

(04:33):
It might be a lack ofexperience, a rejection, a
failed project or not having theconnections or resources you
need.
Sometimes it is external, likea competitive market or a bad
economy.
Other times it is internal, like imposter syndrome, fear of

(04:56):
taking risks or the pressure tobe perfect, to be always perfect
.
But here's what I've learnedEvery professional obstacle is a
hidden opportunity.
All right.
It's an invitation to level up,to become more skilled, more
focused, more persistent, because the truth is, no one

(05:17):
succeeds without hitting walls.
Okay, the difference is thatsuccessful people don't let the
walls stop them, so they find away through.
Let me ask you guys whatprofessional obstacle are you
facing right now?
Is it a lack of time, confidence, direction?

(05:39):
Whatever it is, acknowledge it,own it and then start working
your way through it.
And third, the last one, ofcourse, we have the emotional
obstacles.
We don't talk about them enough.
Maybe we should do in thispodcast.
But they're real and they arevery powerful.

(05:59):
An emotional obstacle issomething inside you.
It can be pain, fear, doubt, guilt, sadness.
You know that holds you backfrom being your full, powerful
self.
It is the voice that says youare not good enough.
You know the weight of a pastexperience.

(06:19):
You never really healed fromthe fear of failure, rejection
or even success.
So you cannot always seeemotional obstacles like you can
comprehend physical ones.
Right, but you can feel them.
You can feel them in yourrecitation, you can feel them in
your procrastination, in yourself-sabotage.
But here is the truth about itEmotional obstacles don't mean

(06:45):
you are weak.
They mean you're human and onceyou face them, guys, well, you
should be proud, because it'sthe strongest things you will
ever do, because when you facean emotional obstacle, you're
not just unlocking yourpotential, but you are mostly
healing.
So you're going to become freeagain, okay.

(07:07):
So let me ask you again whatemotion is holding you back
right now?
Is it fear, anger, shame, maybe?
Whatever it is, I want you toknow.
It is okay to feel it, butdon't let it define you.
It, but don't let it define you.
Okay, now that we know theobstacles that can prevent you

(07:33):
from reaching your success, let's talk about the strategies
that can help you to go through.
So the first one is rememberwhy you started.
I remember why I started mypodcast.
In my life, I want to dosomething more.
I always dreamed of becoming asinger or an actor, especially a
singer.
Anyway, I want to achievefinancial freedom.

(07:55):
Now that I think about itactually, while I meditate you
know I reflect with you Irealized that at the time, I
didn't believe I was capable ofachieving those dreams.
If I have to be honest.
I mean, guys, if you're 100%sure about your decision, right,
you know you can accomplishanything.
But even if I was 100% sure.

(08:17):
I mean, I still remember, youknow, this warm feeling that it
was my call.
So, even if I was 100% sure, the truth is that I did not have
the right mindset tools toachieve it.
Anyway, no soon.
Also, because I oftenassociated the artistic path
with financial success, believing that my dreams had to

(08:40):
translate into making more money.
This kind of mindset can preventyou from reaching your dreams,
guys, because you're not 100%focused.
If you think about somethingelse, and even if you do manage
to achieve it, you may end upbeing mediocre in whatever you
wish to pursue.
So today I'm truly happy whereI am very happy, and even if I

(09:06):
spent years chasing dreams thatdidn't lead exactly where I
thought they would, the timewasn't wasted.
It shaped me, it built theversion of me I love today.
So here is what I've learnedwhen you're not 100% focused on
something, you will not fullyachieve it 100%.
And now, for the first time, Ifeel like I'm in a position

(09:30):
where I can choose who I want tobe, because I'm ready to give
it my all.
You know, yes, I'm grateful formy journey.
Yes, I appreciate.
You know everything my pasttaught me and the person it made
me become.
But let's be real.
It also left scars, and I don'twant the same for you.

(09:52):
Why did I give a sermon aboutmyself here?
Remember why you started.
Okay, that's it, this feeling.
It's a reminder for me firstand a message for you.
So you have to find the samefeeling and reminder for others.
In my case, I had to figure outeverything alone, right, and
now I want to be the person foryou.

(10:14):
I didn't have during my ownjourney, even if I'm satisfied
today, I remember how hard itwas.
So you're not alone.
I'm here with you and I knowwhat you feel right now.
Anyway, here's the truth.
You can still chase your dreams.
All right, no matter your age, your past or your mistakes.
If I want now, I can stilllearn to play guitar and sick

(10:38):
one day, why not?
So remember why you started.
There is always time.
You just have to decide and goall in.
That's very important.
Number two stay in motion.
Force yourself to stay inmotion by making a plan and
sticking to it.

(10:58):
When you have a goal in mind, guys, you need to work towards
it, all right.
So set aside one day a week, orwith a daily routine, or use
your weekends, I don't knowwhatever works best for you.
The key is to maintain aroutine.
This routine will become ahabit and that habit will expand
your comfort zone.
Remember also when youexperience failure, think of it

(11:21):
as a teacher.
If you find yourself feelinghit by setbacks, don't stay
there forever, right, learn fromwhat failures has to teach you
and keep moving forward, regardless of the challenge you
face.
It is difficult, if notimpossible, to talk about real
failure in the long run if youare always in action.
So, instead of, let's say, stayon unfortunate events, focus on

(11:49):
what you can do to address them.
This mindset guys will empoweryou to take control of your time
, your action and, of course, lastly, your life.
Number three be selective aboutthe content you consume.
Do you know all the times whenyou spend hours and hours

(12:10):
scrolling through social media,for example?
All right, so instant, use thetime for something productive.
Do you want to become a writer, for example?
Well, thousands of podcasts canhelp you learn how to do just
that, and you can listen whileyou're washing dishes, for
example.
You know, are you trying tofind motivation for the gym?

(12:32):
So then use Spotify to listento channels like Motiversity, a
channel that motivates wordsfrom mindset-alive coaches with
great motivational backgroundmusic Okay, we could make so
many examples.
The point is be selective aboutthe content you consume,

(12:53):
because these contents are goingto shape you for your 2.0
version of yourself.
Number four find the right time.
You claim you don't have.
It's interesting how we oftenclaim we don't have time for
personal growth, Yet we havetechnology at our fingertips.

(13:13):
If you excuse yourself fromreading a self-development book
because you don't have time, remember there are digital books
available on your phone.
If a digital book seems toolong, you can listen to it with
Audible.
If listening isn't an optionbecause you don't have
headphones, guys, consider usinga book summary app that allows

(13:34):
you to learn the key points of abook in just a minute.
If everything that I mentionedis too much expensive, search on
Google or ask to chat GPT.
It is also free for now.
So, or anyway, you can stillwatch YouTube videos.
I mean, you can do so manythings.
What are we talking about, guys?
The bottom line is this Beselective about the content you

(13:59):
consume and don't make excusesabout your time.
It's not about time, it's aboutpriorities, and remember that
whatever you consume shapes whoyou are going to become.
Number five find the wins andcelebrate your accomplishments.

(14:20):
It is easy to get stuck, youknow, focusing on what is still
left to do or what didn't go asplanned.
But here's the truth Everylittle win counts, whether it's
finishing a task, makingprogress towards your goal or
just staying on track.
It all matters.

(14:42):
So take a moment to look at howfar you have come.
Celebrate those small victories.
It might not feel like much, but each step is a part of your
journey, your journey to success.
And when you recognize whatyou've already done, it gives
you the energy to keep going.
Okay, don't wait untileverything is perfect, or don't

(15:06):
wait until you've reached yourbiggest goal.
Celebrate what you haveachieved today, this week or
this month.
It's these little moments ofsuccess that build you
confidence first and remind youthat you are moving forward,
even when it feels slow.
So remember, progress is notmade always of huge steps.

(15:29):
It's often the small wins thatadapt over time.
So take time to recognize andcelebrate your progress.
I'd like to highlight a greatexample now Ofra Ofra Winsray's
story.
She's a perfect example ofovercoming obstacles.
Growing up in poverty andfacing abuse, she was told she

(15:54):
would never amount to anything.
Okay, for years she strung withself-doubt and her past.
But instead of letting herchallenges define her, ofra took
small steps toward her dreams, starting in local TV stations.
She worked on her mindset, focused on personal growth and
found mentors who supported her.

(16:15):
So today, as you know, ofra isone of the most successful women
in the world, a media exampleand a billionaire, and her
journey proves that no matterwhere you start or what you face
, you can overcome obstacleswith hard work, focus and the
right support.
So let's recap the five steps toovercome challenges and why

(16:40):
they're so important.
First, remember why you startedright.
Always remind yourself why youare doing what you're doing.
This will help you stay focusedand motivated even when things
get tough.
When you keep your why in mind,it gives you the strength to
push through.
Number two stay in motion.
Keep moving forward, even if itis just a small step at that

(17:02):
time.
Set goals, make plans and stickto them.
Action is key to progress, andthe more you move, the easier it
gets to overcome obstacles.
Number three be selective.
Be selective about the contentyou consume, so the information
you take in shapes your mindset.
You have to remember that.

(17:23):
So focus on consuming contentthat inspires and motivates you,
whether it's books, podcasts orvideos, you know.
Choose things that help yougrow and stay on track with your
goals.
Number four don't claim youdon't have time for personal
growth.
With technology, right now, there are endless, endless

(17:47):
options to access learningmaterials, whether it is digital
books, audiobooks, book summaryapps, whatever.
Even if you don't have thebudget for this, there are free
alternatives like Google rightnow, chachipt.
So the key is to prioritizeyour growth and be mindful of
the content you consume, becauseyou know it shapes who you

(18:08):
become.
It's not about time, guys.
It's about making personaldevelopment a priority.
And at the end, we have thenumber five.
So find the wins and celebrateyour accomplishments.
It is easy to focus on what isleft to do, but celebrating
small victories along the way isessential, guys.

(18:30):
Every step forward is progress, and recognizing those wins
boosts your confidence and keepsyou motivated to keep going.
Okay, and these guys were thefive steps.
Another piece of advice I wouldlike to give is to surround
yourself with the right support.

(18:51):
No one achieves success alone.
Whether it's friends, mentors,a supportive community, the
right podcast, youtube channels, whatever, find people who
encourage you.
Having the right people aroundyou makes overcoming challenges
easier.
Okay, these five steps arepractical strategies you can
apply in your own life, nomatter what obstacles you are

(19:13):
facing.
Remember, guys, challenges arepart of the journey anyway and
with the right mindset andaction, you can really overcome
anything.
Really overcome anything.

(19:34):
Now I would love to hear fromyou have you faced any
challenges recently that madeyou rethink your approach?
How did you overcome them?
Share your thoughts in thecomments.
I'm always excited to hear youknow your stories, of course,
and if you found value intoday's episode, don't keep it
to yourself, guys.
Share it.
Share it with someone who coulduse this boost and help spread

(19:54):
this positivity.
Your support truly means theworld to me and while I would
love your follow, yoursubscription, as always, I
believe passing this message tosomeone can make a huge impact.
So thank you for being part ofthe journey to success.
Remember, every step forwardcounts and your journey is yours

(20:17):
to create.
Keep pushing, stay inspired andI'll see you in the next
episode.
Cheers.
