Speaker 1 (00:01):
What if embracing
change is the key that unlocks
your full potential, guys?
Hi guys, my name is Fabio fromJourney to Success, and welcome.
Today we introduce the conceptof personal growth through
change.
I can't wait because we'regoing to explain why it is
(00:23):
essential to live a fulfillinglife.
Alright, change, guys, is oftenuncomfortable, sometimes even
painful, but the truth is thatit is the very force that shapes
who we become.
Okay, personal growth isimpossible without change, and
change requests time, just likea seed that eventually becomes a
(00:49):
tree.
So the process takes a lot oftime and patience before it
becomes an old, wise tree.
Many people resist change.
They stick to what is familiar, out of fear, comfort or habit.
But what they don't realize isthat stagnation leads to
(01:12):
frustration.
And, you know, in comfort zones, in cozinesses, your dreams
cannot go true.
Guys, all right, grow requireschallenge, grow requires change.
That's the reality.
It means movement.
(01:32):
It invites us to confront ourlimitations, question our
beliefs and evolve beyond them,of course.
So embracing change is notabout seeking, you know, cows.
It's about recognizing thattransformation is essential for
(01:52):
a meaningful, fulfilling life, and the truth is that every
change carries an opportunity tolearn, to stretch, you know, to
understand our understanding ofwho we are and what we are
capable of.
In fact, the most successfuland fulfilled individuals are
(02:14):
not those who avoid change, ofcourse, but those who adapt, who
transform and who allow changein a way to shape them.
Anyway, as always, before to goforward, guys, please subscribe
.
All right, so I know this isthe right direction to lead you,
(02:39):
to drive you, to guide youtowards your journey to success.
And let's get started.
As always, let's discuss commonfears and hesitations people
face when it comes to change, such as fear of the unknown or
failure.
And, guys, let's be honest, while change is necessary for
growth, it's not always welcomedwith open arms.
(03:00):
Most of us fear change, notbecause we don't want better
lives, of course, but because wewant to be in our comfort zone.
That's why, even when we knowsomething needs to change, we
hesitate, we delay, we convinceourselves that later, you know,
is a better time.
So let's look at some of themost common fears that hold
(03:26):
people back today.
First point fear of the unknown.
Change often requires dancinginto unfamiliar territory, and
the unknown can feel like a darkroom.
So we're not sure what we'llfind or whether we'll be able to
handle it.
And in this case, you know, ourmind starts dancing around and
(03:52):
our mind says, like, what if I'mnot ready?
What if I make the wrong choice?
What if this doesn't work out?
So this fear can paralyze us,keeping us stuck in the same
situation over and over again.
Then we have the fear offailure.
So the idea of taking a riskand not succeeding can feel like
(04:14):
a personal defeat, likeevidence that we're not good
enough.
You know, but the truth is,failure is a powerful teacher,
guys.
It's not the opposite ofsuccess, it's part of the
success, it's part of theprocess.
So the fear of failure oftenstops us from even trying.
But when we avoid the challenge, we miss out on the lessons and
(04:38):
grow that only come from doinghard things.
Okay, number three fear oflosing control.
We like to think we haveeverything figured out and can
plan for anything, but changeshakes that belief and that can
feel scary sometimes.
Fear of judgment, whether it's,you know, changing careers,
(05:02):
ending a relationship, startinga business or moving to a new
place.
I mean, people often worryabout what others will think.
Will they support me?
Will they think I'm crazy?
What if I fail?
And they say I told you so?
So this fear of being judged ormisunderstood can silence our
deepest desires and keep us frommaking the very moves that
(05:25):
would lead to our freedom.
Number five fear of losingidentity.
Sometimes, guys, change meansletting go of who we think we
are.
That can be terrifying, right.
So shifting into a new versionof yourself, that can feel like
(05:46):
a betrayal of your old self orthe expectations of those around
you.
But growth often requires us torewrite our identity.
So these fears are human, guys.
We all experience them.
But the people who grow, thepeople who truly transform, are
(06:06):
not the ones who avoid fear.
They're the ones who walk truth, trusting that what lies on is
worth far more than the comfortthey're leaving behind.
Okay, now let's explorestrategies for embracing change,
including mindset shift, setting goals and seeking
(06:30):
support from others.
So the first one is shift yourmindset.
Of course.
This is the first key.
So change starts in the mind.
Here are how you can build amindset that welcomes growth.
So the first key is reframingdiscomfort.
Of course, see it as a sign ofprogress, guys.
No danger.
Discomfort means you aregrowing.
(06:53):
I say again discomfort meansyou are growing.
All right, there is nothingwrong with that.
Stay curious, ask what can Ilearn from this Instead of why
is this happening to me?
And the third key point isaccepting uncertainty, so
(07:14):
understand that not everythingneeds to be figured out right
away.
Right Progress, guys, oftencomes from taking one step at a
time.
Remember that.
Number two set clear, flexiblegoals.
Goals, guys, give you direction, even in the middle of change.
(07:35):
Also, here I like to highlightthree key points.
The first key point it'sstarting small right, so focus
on one habit or action you cancontrol each day.
The second point is set shortand long-term goals, so you know
a big vision, but break it intosteps.
And the third key point isleaving room for adjustment, so
(07:58):
stay open to refining your goalsas you grow and your
circumstances change.
And the number three the numberthree is seek support from
others Guys.
You don't have to do it alone.
Also, here I like to highlightthree key points.
So you have to find thecommunity.
Connect with people who arealso embracing change, online or
(08:22):
in person, doesn't matter.
Talk it out.
Sharing your fears or winshelps you process them and gain
your perspective.
Okay, number three learn fromothers guys, from mentors,
coaches, or even books andpodcasts can guide you through
unfamiliar environment.
(08:43):
Let's talk about Howard Schultz.
He grew up poor in a toughneighborhood in Brooklyn, new
York.
His dad worked hard but didn'tearn so much and when he got
hurt, you know, there was nohelp or support for the family.
So Howard, during these years, struggled a lot and later he got
(09:06):
a job at Starbucks, but backthen it wasn't the Starbucks we
know today, so they just soldcoffee beans and equipment.
So one day Howard visited Italymy country and saw something
special People gathering in cozycoffees.
This is actually true.
(09:27):
It doesn't matter if there is aseat or not, it doesn't matter
if we stand or not, it's alwayscozy to take a coffee in Italy.
In fact, he noticed people weretalking, connecting, enjoy the
coffee.
You know, it wasn't just adrink, it was an experience.
So Howard came back excited andtold the Starbucks owners his
(09:52):
big idea.
He say like let's serve coffeeand create a place where people
you know, come to relax andconnect.
They say no.
So our took a big risk.
He left the company, startedhis own cafe business and a few
years later bought starbucks.
So from there he built the starStarbucks we know today, guys,
(10:14):
a warm, welcoming space in everycity where coffee brings people
together, regardless of histaste.
I mean, it's not that bad, butit's not my thing.
Now, before closing, let's recap.
All right, let's recap with sixpoints that I want to highlight
.
Change is inevitable.
(10:36):
Life is constantly evolving andresisting change, guys, often
leads to frustration andstagnation.
So, acknowledging the change,we can say that it's a natural
part of life that helps us adaptwith more comfort and
resilience.
All right.
Number two mindset shapes theoutcome.
(10:57):
So how we perceive changedecides where it becomes a
setback or a stepping stone.
So, viewing change through agrowth mindset, guys, allow us
to see challenges asopportunities for learning,
innovation and personaldevelopment.
Number three grow happensoutside of comfort zone.
(11:20):
Discomfort, guys, oftenaccompanies change, but it is in
these moments of uncertaintythat the most significant growth
happens.
So embracing discomfort is keyto unlocking new levels of
strength, confidence andcapability.
Number four change shows hiddenstrength.
(11:43):
So when faced with anunexpected shift, guys, we're
often surprised by our abilityto adapt, solve problems and
lead.
These moments reveal innerresilience and potential we
might not have recognizedotherwise.
Number five transformationrequires letting go, so holding
(12:05):
on to the past can slow progress.
True growth, guys, needsremoving old habits, beliefs or
situations that no longer serveus, so making room for new
possibilities to emerge.
And the number six is eachchange is a new beginning.
So, rather than consideringchange as an ending, try to
(12:25):
think that each change comeswith a new purpose, right Fresh
perspectives and more horizons.
Now I want to hear from you whatis one challenge, guys, you
have faced that changed you forthe better?
How did it shape your path andwhat did you learn from it?
(12:48):
Your story could inspiresomeone else who is going
through the same thing, so Iinvite you to leave a comment,
send a message or share thisepisode with someone who might
need.
Today, you have found value inthis episode.
I know that, so following theshow means a lot, but sharing
(13:10):
with someone who truly needs itmakes all the difference.
Thank you for being part ofJourney to Success, guys.
Remember every small step youtake is still progress, and it
brings you closer to the personyou are meant to be.
I'm truly grateful for each ofyou.
