28 years later, with my voice and music, I finally tell the tale of what happened so long ago that I kept quiet about. Remembering moments of intense pain is confusing, painful, sad, rage inducing, and also leads to the light at the end of a tunnel I've been running in for years and years.
I am in the thick of healing and you will hear the tragic cries of a 7/8 year old coming from a woman of 35.
I am not in the business of protecting people from emotions, so I didn't edit this episode. And I want to normalize a process and experience that I know I'm not alone in.
