(00:26):
dive into the deepest parts ofyourself.
I will share what I havelearned from my journey along
this path years of research andmentors along the way.
Having spent many years livinglife out of alignment and afraid
to go after my dreams, I knowfirsthand what it means to take
the first step down, living alife authentic to you.
(00:47):
We are on this road ofself-discovery together.
It is time for you to live thelife you imagined.
Hello, my loves, welcome backto Journey to the Soul.
I hope you are having awonderful start to your week.
(01:09):
Whenever you are listening tothis, wherever you are tuning in
from hello, I send you all abig hug.
I am really looking forward totalking about today's topic with
you.
It's one of the things that I'ma little bit obsessed with,
(01:30):
that I love learning more aboutand understanding more about.
It's one of the philosophiesthat I love to dive deeper into,
essentially and it's somethingthat I've touched on in another
podcast episode, probably closeto a year ago, it was an episode
that I did on numerology andnumerology.
(01:54):
For anyone who has never heardof it before or has, but perhaps
is just not familiar with whatit is, numerology is the study
of numbers.
So in numerology, each numberhas its own vibration,
essentially, and thesevibrations can shed light onto
(02:18):
different aspects of yourself, your psyche, your desires, life
events.
So the way that you come upwith your numerology chart
because it's something that youcalculate as well, much like an
astrology chart or a humandesign chart you use your
(02:42):
birthday, the month, the dateand the year and the name that
you were given at birth.
So you don't need the location, like you would with an
astrology chart or with a humandesign chart.
And if you were to want to pullup a numerology chart, it would
actually be quite an in-depththing.
(03:04):
Like many other philosophies, like astrology or human design,
it is a very in-depth andintricate thing.
So if you were to pull up achart, you would see a lot of
different numbers and things andit's such a really interesting
and super supportive system thatI love looking at it.
(03:29):
And, like human design andastrology.
You can think of it as justanother tool that you can use
for understanding yourself andwhy you may veer towards certain
tendencies or certain thingsabout your life and how it may
play out, and there's so manydifferent things that we can
(03:52):
look at within a numerologychart.
You know there are certain keynumbers that are very important
and specific to you in anumerology chart, like your life
path number is probably themost important number in
numerology for you.
There's your heart's desirenumber.
(04:13):
There's so many differentthings, but the thing that I
wanted to touch on today whichis what I touched on in the
episode that I did last year aswell is the personal year in
numerology.
I apply the personal year, orlike looking at my personal year
(04:35):
in numerology every year as Iwelcome in a new year.
It's been something that I havebeen doing the last couple of
years, and I think that it isincredible information to have
as you start and embark on a newyear ahead, which is partly why
(04:57):
I wanted to record this episodetoday, too.
This is going to be a littlebit different than the one last
year in the sense that I'm notgoing to go through some of the
themes of each personal year, but I did want to share with you
just how my personal year wentlast year and share a little bit
about that and then, going intothis next personal year, for me
(05:22):
too, what my thoughts areleading up to that too.
If you did not listen to theepisode that I did last year, I
would suggest that you listen toit, either before or after you
listen to this one, because whatwe're going to do first is I'm
(05:42):
going to show you how tocalculate your personal year,
but all the themes that areconnected with whichever number
that you get, you can listen toand have a better understanding
in that first episode.
And what is your personal year?
So, like everything in yournumerology chart, it's something
(06:03):
that is very specific to you,but it is something that changes
every year with the start of anew calendar year, and we can
all attest and know that eachyear feels different.
We feel like different people.
We're coming in with differentaspirations, different desires.
You know, every year we're adifferent person when we start a
(06:26):
new year.
Each year feels different withhow we want to approach it.
So we already can recognizethat every year is not the same,
that every year that you gothrough, you don't start it and
move through it in the same wayas you always have.
(06:46):
Each year has its own energy, right, and we can all feel that.
So your personal year isessentially the energy of the
year for you, based off of anumber.
So your personal year would beyour vibe for this year, and the
number of your personal year isgoing to be tied to certain
(07:10):
themes and things that may comeup with that number, and it's
something that, if you allowyourself to lean into it, you
can honor what this year bringsfor you into it.
You can honor what this yearbrings for you, just embracing
it, not fighting it, not wantingit to be anything different
(07:35):
than it is.
I do also want to note that, when it comes to your personal
year, whatever year that you'regoing into so, for example, I
was in a personal year sevenlast year and this year 2025, I
went into an eight you can feelsome of the energy of the year
to come even before the start ofthe year.
So some of those themes, someof those principal things that
(08:00):
are associated with that number.
So, for example, for me, withthe eight, it's very possible
that some of those things showup before then, you know, in the
months leading up to the newyear, and, in astrology,
something similar to this, if wewant to look at things from a
(08:20):
year perspective, and what wecan look at in astrology to see
what our vibe will be for theyear is looking at any major
transits that you may have.
You can also do a solar returnchart for yourself, which is
essentially a chart showingwhere all the planets are for
(08:43):
your birthday for that year, andwith both of these things, it's
just something that gives yousome insight on what may come,
on, what you may experience.
Your personal year is made up ofyour birthday, so just your
month and your date and thecurrent year, and as an example,
(09:07):
we'll use my birth month and mybirthday.
So I am born on April 22nd, soI would add my birthday to the
year, which is 2025.
And the way that you would dothat is you want to keep adding
it until you reduce it down toone digit.
(09:30):
So you would do 4 plus 2 plus 2plus 2 for the 2025, plus 0
plus two plus five, and then youkeep adding that until you get
down to one number.
(09:51):
That's one way that you coulddo it.
The other way that you could addit, which is really the way
that I like adding it is you addthe birthday first, because for
me, april is already down toone digit, but if you were, like
, born in November, you couldadd that first.
(10:14):
So 11, one plus one reducesdown to two.
And then you could do the samewith the date if it's a double
digit number.
But, for example, my month is asingle digit number, so I don't
have to do that, butessentially add up the date and
then reduce it down to one, addup the month and reduce it down
(10:35):
to one.
That's again if you have adouble digit for either of those
and then add up the year thatwe're in and reduce it down to
one.
So we would do four plus four, which is the reduction of the 22
.
And then 2025 adds up to nine, and in numerology we look at
(10:59):
numbers between one through ninereally is most of the numbers
that we're looking at.
There's a few other numbersthat are called master numbers,
but for just simplicity of whatI want to show you guys, we're
not going to touch on that.
So you're just going to reducedown to one and adding up those
(11:21):
different aspects.
You're going to get one digit.
You're going to keep addinguntil you get one digit, so you
can do that with your birthdayand then add in the year, which
is 2025, which this year, 2025is a universal year.
Nine, universal year, nine.
(11:42):
So we're talking about yourpersonal year, but as a
collective, we also have anenergy.
There is the energy of the ninethat, as a collective, we are
working with.
Last year, 2024, it was aneight, so the nine has a very
different energy than the eight.
(12:10):
No-transcript.
You could keep listening tothis episode or you could go
listen to the other one that Irecorded at some point and see
what the themes will be for youand what energy is in store for
you for the year to come, andjust meditate and ponder on it.
(12:32):
It's such an incredible thingto look at when we're looking at
the next 365 days of what'sahead of us.
I did a little bit of a morein-depth walkthrough in that
first episode.
I will link it down below, thatway you can listen to that.
(12:55):
I'm also just going to link acalculator in the links below
that way.
If you prefer to do it that wayand you're like this isn't
working for some reason.
Perhaps then you can use thecalculator.
But diving into how thepersonal year shows up, I am not
(13:17):
a numerologist but I lovenumerology and I have been
studying different aspects ofnumerology for the last couple
of years and there's so manydifferent things that I study
and go really deep into that Ilove applying to my life if it
works.
(13:38):
I love applying to my life if itworks, if it feels resonant.
So numerology may or may not bea thing that you feel is
supportive in your life, but forme it's kind of been one of
those things that I have openedmyself up to more and I've seen
how it can be finding out theintricacies of my human design
or my astrology chart, howpivotal those things were for me
(14:00):
understanding myself and who Iam and all of those different
things.
My numerology chart was verymuch the same way and as I
started meddling with a personalyear, it was just very
eye-opening for me andmind-blowing to see how much it
(14:21):
aligned.
So I experimented with it formany years.
I have continuouslyexperimented with it and every
year it continues to besomething that I'm like man,
okay, I just I need to lean intothe energies of that year more.
I've learned that because itinitially it was just something
(14:42):
that was in my realm and I wasobservant and, more just,
receptive to what was happeningwithin the year.
But at first I wasn't reallyactually leaning into the energy
of that year, because I gothrough a deep learning process
and then a deep experimentationwith anything that I do.
(15:03):
But now, having been usingnumerology for probably close to
four years now, the personalyear is something that I really
do look at when I am looking atany intentions that I might want
(15:23):
to set for the year ahead orjust what's to come.
You know, what can I openmyself up to?
What are the lessons that I'mgoing to learn?
Again, it's like if you're intoastrology, it's like your
transits.
It's like if you're knowingthat Saturn is going to transit
a house for you, or Jupiter orany other planet.
(15:45):
You just become open to that.
So this is one of those thingsthat you can definitely use to
also support you with that.
And last year, like I mentioned,I had a personal year seven and
this year, a seven is all aboutinner work, knowledge and going
(16:12):
deep.
So it's about going within tostep into the next version of
you, and in order to do this.
It can be a time to care foryour physical body, a time for
solitude, a time for you toreflect, to learn, for spiritual
(16:33):
growth.
It's really for being more thandoing, and if you listen to the
last two episodes that I putout, you will have heard me
share about how last year wasone of the most difficult and
transformative years that I'vegone through so far with my body
(16:56):
and having to meet the needs ofmy body in a way that I never
had before Really being forcedto stop and be where I was and
really honor that and not try torun away from it.
So the seven was so spot on forme because it was a time of
(17:21):
deep healing, not justphysically but mentally,
emotionally and spiritually.
It gave me the opportunity toreally be with myself in a way
that I never had before and toreally let go of things that I
had carried for so much of mylife.
(17:44):
But it was something that I wasforced to do.
My body forced me to slow downand that was so hard.
For me it was one of thehardest things because I always
prided myself on moving forward,on constantly going on moving
forward in life, on gainingtraction right just not meant to
(18:18):
be a time for that, even thoughI wanted it to be, even though
I wanted to go all in on all ofthese things and focus on
building my business and takingdifferent creative projects that
I wanted to do to the nextlevel and going all in on all
these other things.
And I realized after a coupleof months that that just wasn't
(18:39):
happening because I had biggerthings to worry about, and that
was how I was doing and how Iwas on a day-to-day basis.
There were more importantthings that I needed to focus on
.
I spent so much time alone lastyear.
I spent so much time withinmyself last year to try to
(19:04):
understand why this washappening, why this was showing
up where it had stemmed from, and the solitude and the quiet
allowed me to do that, and itwas allowing me to learn where I
had abandoned myself.
It was a time for a lot ofspiritual growth and, more than
(19:30):
anything, I had to learn how toallow myself to be and to not
fight where I was and to honorthis season of life that I was
in, which was a season of rest.
It was a season of wintering.
I have been wintering, but Iwanted it to be something so
(19:52):
much different and I started2024 definitely with the
intentions of it being somethingcompletely different and then I
quickly learned that that isnot happening and there was so
much frustration definitelyinitially but throughout the
year, of wanting things to bedifferent than they were,
(20:15):
wanting my body to be at itsoptimal and having to just
accept where it was and thelimitations that it was giving
me at that moment, thediscomfort, all of those things.
There was a lot of overthinkingabout feeling like I wasn't
(20:38):
doing enough.
You know, with that quietwithout the doing, it gave me so
much time to overthink aboutevery aspect of life and how I
felt, like I was kind of justlacking in some way.
There was a lot of low energy, but there was also so much
(21:03):
growth here.
I shed so many layers of myselfaway to allow space for a true
and more aligned version of meand I know that I grew so much
from the last year and I feelthat going into this year, I can
(21:24):
feel that and you can see howthis aligns quite well with the
overall themes that come up withthe seven and, like I shared
when I first came acrossnumerology, the accuracy of it
just completely blew me away.
There was something in mypsyche that told me I needed to
(21:46):
dive deeper into it, because thefirst thing that I came across
was my life path number and thatwas something that I just felt
like a part of me intuitivelyknew which one it was.
And then I started doing myresearch and stuff like that and
(22:08):
it was just such an eye-openingthing.
It was like figuring out yourenergy type in human design.
It's like, oh my gosh, yes, that is how I am.
It's not all in my head, or thesame thing with astrology.
So every year it just helps mehonor where I am, more and more
(22:33):
and more.
I went into last year definitelywondering how it was going to
affect me the seven because I'mlike, hmm, because I went with
the intentions of wanting to doall of these things.
I'm like solitude, slowness, being more than doing.
(22:57):
I'm like, no, I'm going to dothis year and that's how I
started the year.
And shortly after that Irealized that that's not how it
was going to play out, but Iopened myself up to that.
From now, looking back to that,I do see how powerful that was,
(23:19):
how powerful the seven was forme to work on all of these
aspects of myself, of life.
This year I am stepping into ayear eight, which is all about
financial growth, personalempowerment and endurance.
(23:42):
So this is a year for me toreally step into my power, to do
everything I need to do inorder for that to be possible.
So last year, you can almostsee it as setting the stage for
this.
It was a year of letting go, itwas a year of cleansing, it was
(24:07):
a quiet year to rest and itreally made space for this for
the next year to come.
So this is gonna be a greattime for focusing on business,
on embracing success andconfidence, and I definitely am
(24:35):
feeling the themes of the eight.
They did come into my realmtowards the later part of last
year as I started thinking aboutokay, 2025, what do I want to
focus on?
And it's something that Islowly percolate on until I come
(24:57):
to certain decisions about okay, what are my major focuses or
intentions for the next year?
And last year was a very slowyear for me and I wasn't able to
focus on the things that Iwanted to focus on, even though
I wanted it to be a year ofgrowth and success and focusing
(25:22):
on all of these things.
It was not that, and I knewthat.
I figured that out eventually.
I had all of these ideas ofwhat I wanted to do to take my
business and my creativepursuits to the next level and I
didn't have the energy to focuson it physically, mentally or
(25:45):
emotionally.
I had to be really honest withmyself about what I could do and
meet myself where I was myphysical needs.
And that was so hard because ifyou listened to my last episode
, you would have heard that Ihad never had a season of rest
(26:07):
like I did last year, had aseason of rest like I did last
year.
I never really ever stopped inmy life ever really like I
needed to last year.
So if you want to hear moreabout that, definitely tune into
the last episode.
And for this year, this is sospot on for where I want to
(26:28):
focus and put my energy on.
I have more physical energythan I did last year.
I'm still in a healing phasewith my body, but I can do so
much more than I could a yearago and I am so, so, eternally
(26:51):
grateful for that because now Ihave the energy and the focus to
want to do what I had set outto do last year but was not able
to.
I have to still meet my body, where it is a little bit because
I am still going throughcertain healing, but this is
(27:14):
night and day to where I waslast year and I am so eager for
this year and for all it's goingto bring, to go all in in my
business to take it to the nextlevel.
You know, it's like when you'vewanted to do something for so
long and you've wanted youfinally have the ability to do
(27:35):
it.
It's like the best feeling ever.
That is how I'm feeling goinginto this year.
It's like I have been given somuch time last year to think
about all the different thingsthat I wanted to do with
focusing on my business, creating a plan to take it to
the next level.
And same with different aspectsof life.
(27:56):
You know, creating a new lifein a different country, because
we are going to be moving in thenext couple of months and how
to bring all of these things tolife right.
You need to have someintentions, you need to have
(28:16):
some kind of plan to slowly moveforward with that, step by step
, and I am really ready to justembrace my success this year, do
the things that I know that aregoing to be meaningful and make
(28:37):
an impact in the world the waythat I want to, to embrace
abundance, prosperity, to takeup more space.
These are all things that aredefinitely things that I want to
lean into more this year, because it is so what I want to
focus on, and I just dive intothis because I geek out on this
(29:03):
stuff, but it also just flows meaway with how incredibly
accurate it is and it's a thingthat, like I mentioned, I love
to geek out on.
So I'm not a numerologist.
This is just, you know, one ofthe many hobbies that I have is
learning about all of theserandom, different things, and I
(29:27):
share a lot of that with youguys these random, different
things, and I share a lot ofthat with you guys.
So this is how I applynumerology into my life and how
I kind of meditate with it,observe it, use it as another
thing to reflect on.
So, as we come to the end ofthis episode, I would love for
you to reflect on your personalyear last year.
(29:50):
Since you calculated yourpersonal year for this year.
Go ahead and calculate whatpersonal year you had last year
and I want you to think abouthow did some of those themes
play out in your life?
And again, you're going to wantto listen to my first episode,
which I will link.
(30:11):
That way you can see whatthemes were tied with that.
It's like if you had a six lastyear what themes were tied with
that, and just sit with it fora little bit.
Reflect.
Do you feel like it resonatedwith you?
Now that you have your personalyear for this year, I would
(30:32):
also love to know what it is.
What are you stepping into thisyear?
Does knowing this make you feelmore empowered and ready for
what is to come in the next 11months that are going to unfold?
You can send me a message onInstagram to share with me.
(30:55):
I totally want to know.
I want to hear from you guysand how you resonated with your
personal year.
I look forward to talking toyou all in my next episode.
I am sending you so much love.
Until then, I hope you enjoyedthis episode.
