Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, welcome back to the podcast Journey to Well.
So today is going to be aquickie, but we have to talk
about the end of season one ofJourney to Well the podcast.
We are officially startingseason two.

(00:26):
The next episode will be seasontwo of Journey to Well the
podcast, and I wanted to do alittle wrap up and lay a little
foundation, a little framework, for how the podcast will be
continuing in season two.
So, for those of you that havenot listened much to the podcast

(00:50):
yet, this is actually theperfect episode to listen to,
because I'm going to kind ofscan through a few of my most
favorite conversations, the mostlistened to podcast episodes
that we've had on season one,and then I'm going to share a
little bit of what's to come inseason two.

(01:11):
So I am so excited to be doingthis.
Honestly, this is perfecttiming because we are now
officially in Pisces season, which, pisces, is the last sign
of the Zodiac, so we have 12signs of the Zodiac.
If you're unfamiliar withastrology Although if you're

(01:33):
listening to this podcast, Ifeel like you're probably pretty
familiar at least have someinterest in learning about
astrology.
So we have 12 signs in thezodiac wheel and Pisces is our
final, it's our 12th sign beforewe restart with Aries, which is

(01:53):
the first sign of the zodiac.
So Pisces represents closure.
It represents kind of coming tofull fruition, coming to the
end of a journey, what needs to,or what is ready to die, to
then be creating space to createnew life, to live.

(02:18):
Death is a really beautifuljourney in general because what
we're doing is when we allow orwe release, or we have one
season come to a close, a newthing is born from that ending
and that's really what Piscesrepresents.
If you look at the visualrepresentation of Pisces, we

(02:40):
have one fish swimming to theright and then below it is
another fish swimming to theleft and it makes almost like a
circle and it's kind ofrepresenting that continual
death, rebirth cycle, which ishonestly the phase, the cycle of

(03:01):
life, everything.
If we think about in terms ofthe four seasons, we have this
death cycle in winter and likein the fall and winter, and then
this rebirth phase in thespring and the summer.
If you're kind of talking aboutit in terms of women's health
and cycle alignment, we have ourluteal phase and our actual

(03:23):
menstrual phase, which is thedeath phase, phases, and then we
have our follicular phase andour ovulation phase, which is
our, which is our growth phase, our rebirth phase, our summer
phase is the ovulation phase.
So say phase one more time.
So it's going to be.
It's going to be a really greatseason too, but let's dive a

(03:46):
little bit into season one.
So I went back and looked.
Our official launch of thispodcast was January 17th, so a
year and a month and a couple ofdays ago.
And, um man, let's let's gothrough some of my favorite
conversations.
Honestly, one of my favoriteconversations was episode two.

(04:10):
It's also one of the mostdownloaded episodes of this
podcast.
It's Aligning Feminine andMasculine Energy, and I had a
really great conversation.
This was a year ago and Ihaven't listened to it since, so
don't quote me on the actualconversation, but the idea of it
is.
We were talking about what isfeminine energy, what's

(04:32):
masculine energy?
It was with my really goodfriend, jason Melvin, that I met
, actually during my somaticbreathwork training and honestly
, I love having conversationswith men about feminine and
masculine energy and hearingtheir perspective and their life
experience, because men havesuch a different perspective and
I do have a decent amount ofbalance in my podcast portfolio

(04:59):
with men and female guests, butthis one was definitely probably
one of the most fun and we goin depth and Jason really was
able to share his lifeexperience and his perspective
as a man, as a dad, as a husband.
Um, if you're into exploringthe beginnings of feminine and

(05:22):
masculine energy, highlyrecommend that one.
Um, what else I?
This is not one of the mostlistened to episodes, but this
is probably my favorite episodeof all time.
I talked with my friend Gabbyand we had this entire

(05:44):
conversation exploring grief andgrief.
You've heard me talk about this.
If you follow my podcast, youknow that grief is one of my
favorite conversations to talkabout, one of my favorite topics
, because I don't believe thatit is talked about and explored

(06:04):
enough.
Actually, the day that I'mrecording this, I posted a post
on Instagram sharing this kindof poem-esque post about grief
and what we think about grief, what we say about grief and what
grief actually is, and this isreally what we dove into with

(06:25):
the conversation between Gabbyand I.
We also touched on a reallyimportant aspect of grief that
also don't think that we talkenough about, which is exploring
grief within livingrelationships.
We oftentimes talk about griefin terms of a lost loved one or

(06:48):
friend or family member, and wedon't talk about grief in
regards to a lost relationship,maybe a breakup.
We don't talk about grief inregards to processing grief
within our own life and our ownpsyche A breakup, a divorce,

(07:10):
just not really expecting to bewhere you are right now in your
life and thinking that you wouldbe somewhere different.
I think there's some grief whenwe go through big life changes,
so getting into a relationship, buying a house, having a baby,
there's a lot.
There's a lot there and, to behonest, we're going to keep
talking about grief.
So if you liked that podcastepisode, if you like this idea,

(07:34):
stick around for season two, myfriend.
What else I would say?
One of my other great podcastepisodes, two of the most highly
listened to and downloadepisodes, is I have had multiple
conversations about somaticbreathwork, including having the

(07:55):
co-founder of SomaticBreathwork on the podcast,
andrew Fisher, and that wasalways really fun because if
you've followed me, if you're inthis community, you know that
Somatic Breathwork is near anddear to my heart.
I use Somatic Breathwork almostdaily in my personal life,
working with clients, so thatwas a really fun conversation.

(08:17):
You also get a good backgroundon somatic breathwork and the
founding of it, so that one'sone of my, one of my fun
conversations and definitely anenjoyable conversation, I would
say the most highly listened toand download.
Actually, for sure confirmingconfirming this right now,
because I'm looking at myanalytics while we're recording

(08:42):
this podcast the most downloadedepisode is a intro to internal
family systems with TammySullenberger.
She is one of the coolestpeople I have ever met.
Absolutely love her.
Love IFS If you have notexplored this system.

(09:05):
Therapists can be trained in IFSbut also coaches can be trained
in IFS.
It's not strictly for justpsychotherapists.
You can be a coach, a mentalhealth expert.
You could just be an IFStherapist but not have your

(09:26):
degree in therapy, if that makessense.
But Tammy really does abeautiful job breaking down the
foundation of IFS and obviouslythis resonates really well with
you all listening because it'sthe highest downloaded episode
by far.

(09:48):
I've had a couple really, reallyfun conversations and I think
this is actually the only personI've ever had back on my
podcast in season one, alyssaStephenson.
She's just an incredible human.
She works very int just broadlyabout nervous system regulation
, how to use nervous systemregulation in relation to

(10:22):
attachment theory and how we canregulate our nervous system
within relationships and this isnot just intimate relationships
, this can also be friendshipsas well and using our nervous
system regulation within friendsas well, family members right,
we can do it in so manydifferent ways, so that was

(10:45):
definitely one of the goodies.
What else do we have?
The goodies?
Um, what else do we have?
We have lots of human designconversation, and you know that
that's probably my favoritething to talk about.
So I had a great conversationwith Becca Francis.
She is a business coach thatuses human design.

(11:08):
That was a really, really funone.
I love talking to other humandesign experts because we all
approach human design indifferent ways, and so I've had
also I've had Stephanie fromEmbrace your Design on the
podcast, and we all approachhuman design just a little bit

(11:28):
differently through our lifelens, and it's nice to learn
different ways to share things, different ways to talk about
human design.
So any human design expert, anyhuman design episode that I
have on here highly recommend, Iwould say by far my favorite

(11:49):
solo podcast and we'll end withthis my very favorite solo
podcast episode was around mybirthday.
Let me see if I can find evenwhat the title is.
Yeah, it's called 30thMilestones, embracing Grief and
Growth, and that one'sdefinitely looking back at this

(12:09):
entire year.
I felt so authentic, sovulnerable.
Honestly, turning 30 this yearhas been a fucking journey and I
don't know that we really talkabout the grief around big

(12:30):
birthday milestones like this, and I can only talk about my
30th one, 20.
I don't know that that wasreally a huge milestone for me,
21.
Yeah, for sure, but that comeswith a lot of more.
I think excitement or at leastmy 21st birthday came with a lot
more excitement andanticipation and freedom almost,

(12:53):
whereas this 30th birthdayreally came with a lot of a lot
of excitement, a lot ofanticipation, but also a lot of
grief and kind of reflecting onmy growth journey in the last
decade.
And so if you're around this30th milestone maybe you've
already passed it, maybe you'recoming up to it in a few years I

(13:15):
would highly highly recommendchecking that episode out.
That one's a really vulnerableepisode, I would say, of mine.
So there's a little bit of arecap, a little a few jumping
off points.
If you haven't already listenedto all of the episodes, make
sure you go back and downloadand listen to those specific

(13:38):
episodes that I mentioned.
But let's talk about season two.
So I'm really, really excitedfor this season season.
I've actually we've gained alot of traction on this podcast
in the past few months, where Ihave a lot of of episodes
already scheduled out for seasontwo.

(13:59):
So I I know the conversationsthat I'm having and let me tell
you I we are going to be hearingfrom and learning from and
growing with some reallyincredible masters in their
field, masters of the arts, masters of somatic healing,
master of energy, master of howwe can heal our physical body,

(14:25):
how we can really how can I usethis term?
A little bit, a little bit ofbiohacking, almost like
biohacking-esque, although I amnot a biohacker in any way,
shape or form.
But we are having some of thoseconversations of how we can
optimize physically.
I talk a lot about how we canoptimize mentally.

(14:49):
We can optimize mentally,spiritually, emotionally.
I think.
In my past lives I've talked, previous seasons of my life I've
talked about how we canoptimize using our nutrition,
using stress relief tools, usingsleep and movement, and we're

(15:10):
getting back to the basics alittle bit in the beginning of
season two with some of theseepisodes and honestly, we need
to.
I take for granted how I livemy life and I realize and I
acknowledge that I don't alwayspost maybe enough, although
maybe this is just judgment onmyself, but I definitely feel

(15:33):
like there's a lot of things inmy life, a lot of ways that I
eat, a lot of ways that I handlemy life, how I sleep, how I
optimize my physical health orhow I'm learning to continue to
optimize my physical health, butI don't always share those
behind the scenes.
And we have some of thosebehind the scenes really coming

(15:54):
to the forefront in season two, which I'm very excited about.
We're having a lot of beautifulhuman design conversation,
continuing that journey oflearning our unique energy and
how we can harness ouruniqueness, our gifts, to then
become the best version ofourselves, become the optimal

(16:17):
version of ourselves, versus, Ithink, with kind of the boss
girl is that girl boss?
Sorry, a little dyslexic momentGirl boss era.
I think we really fell awayfrom that.
Our authenticity, ouruniqueness, tuning into our
power as women, are our innatepower.

(16:40):
We're really fucking powerfulas women and we have that
ability to like reach down andpull up from our sacral center.
Our energy, our power, ourcreativity really like force it
almost to the point where welead ourselves to burnout, and

(17:01):
that's kind of how I see thatgirl boss era and obviously
we're shifting now as just aparadigm, as a, as a united
front, uh, from that girl bossera I guess you know the trendy
term is like soft girl era, butwe're not.
We're not fucking soft.
I don't.
I don't even like that softgirl era verbiage, because we're

(17:23):
not soft.
We're actually learning how tolive more in alignment, to align
even deeper to our power, ourcreativity, our life force,
energy.
But it doesn't need to beforced and our power is going to
look so different in each phaseof our cycle, in each season of

(17:44):
our lives.
So these are conversations thatwe're going to be having.
It's going to be a fuckingblast.
Strap in for the rollercoasterride of ah Stravin, for the
rollercoaster ride of season two.
Thank you for, thank you, asalways, for being here.

(18:04):
I don't think that I say thatenough, but I hope that you feel
that we are just friends.
I talk to you on this podcastlike I talk to my friends.
I talk to you as if I amtalking to a group of my most
intimate friends, my mostintimate friendships, and I hope

(18:26):
that you feel that through thispodcast.

would love for you to share oneof your favorite episodes on
your social media.
Tag me in it.
I would love for you to shareone of your favorite episodes on
your social media.
Tag me in it.
I would love to hear which, what, which episodes of season one
resonated the most with you.

(18:50):

I would just love to hear what, what topics really resonate
with you and what you want tohear more about in season two.

please share one of yourfavorite episodes with a friend,

, continue growing, continue ourreach of this, these really

(19:13):
beautiful juicy conversations ofauthenticity and vulnerability
and power and human design andcycle, alignment and breath work
and all of these healing toolsthat don't need to be kept a
secret and don't need to beshied away from because we feel
like they're too big or tooconfusing.
One of the goals of thispodcast is to be very intro

(19:36):
friendly, to be veryapproachable.
