Endings can feel like unraveling, but what if they’re the groundwork for your next beginning? We dive into the close of a nine-year numerology cycle and the quiet power of clearing—emotional, physical, and digital—to make room for a cleaner, truer start. No grand gestures required here. Instead, we pair somatic practices with practical rituals so your body leads and your mind follows.

First, we map the parallels between nine-year energy and Scorpio season: composting the old, reclaiming your breath, and letting go without forcing. You’ll learn a simple body scan, a lower-rib breathing technique to increase space and safety in your system, and a set of tiny, high-impact declutters—from camera roll to junk drawer—that reduce noise and return energy. We replace resolutions with a single intention for January, chosen by how it feels in your body: lighter, warmer, more alive.

Then we bring in human design for actionable alignment. Manifestors practice clean initiation. Generators and Manifesting Generators sharpen their sacral yes/no and prune the drains. Projectors position their wisdom to be recognized and wait for the right invitations. Reflectors curate environments and timelines that reflect their best self back. Through it all, we hold the panther archetype—annihilation of the unnecessary—as a reminder that uncomfortable shifts can be sacred and deeply clarifying.

Walk away with a clear plan to end the year softly: one intention, a few somatic anchors, and a new respect for small, honest releases. If this landed, subscribe, share it with someone who’s ready to reset, and leave a review with your one intention for January—what will you clear to let it in?

SPEAKER_00 (02:20):
Hello and welcome back to Journey to Well the
podcast.
I love these days because todayis a solo podcast episode, so
it's just you and me having aconversation.
Uh today we're gonna be talkingabout numerology, which is

(02:41):
something that I haven't talkedmuch about on the podcast.
I definitely talk about it on myInstagram channel.
But numerology, if you haven'theard of it, I don't even think
that I have a good way todescribe what numerology is, but
it's just another one of thosetools that we can use to get a
little bit of insight on theenergy of the year that we are

(03:07):
moving through.
And I'm doing a collectivenumerology, not really reading,
I'm not a numerologist.
I'm doing a collectivenumerology conversation today of
moving from the nine year innumerology, and we're gonna talk
about what that represents, moving into in 2026, moving into

(03:29):
the one year, because numerologyonly goes to the number nine and
then restarts at the number one.
So there's a lot of coolnumerology and astrology
conversation to be had.
I'm also, of course, you know meand my business if you've
listened to the podcast before.

(03:49):
So uh I'm going to include somesomatic work, some somatic
exercises that you can use andincorporate in this release of
coming to the end of the ninecycle and moving into and
settling into the one cycle.
And then I'm also gonna give afew examples of how this ties

(04:12):
into our human design energytype, whether you're a
projector, reflector,manifesting generator,
generator, or manifestor.
So it's gonna be a beautifulconversation.
This is one that I've beenwaiting to have and craving to
have for quite a few weeks.
And life is busy, y'all.

(04:33):
Life is lifeing, it's all goodstuff, but it's definitely been
quite busy, and that might becoming up in your life too, with
this closing of a chapter.
So before we even get into thenumerology, starting with
reviewing the nine year, becausewe still have one month left in

(04:55):
a nine year, and and we havethis is the perfect time to have
this conversation, obviously,uh, because we can set
intentions, closing intentionsto then create room for the new
intentions for the one year.
But I would also like to bringin astrology a little bit here
as well.

(05:16):
We just had our Scorpio season, our Scorpio new moon, and
Scorpio is all about release aswell.
Scorpio is really uh Scorpio isa water sign.
It's it's I like to describeScorpio as the deepest of the
water signs because Scorpio isreally about crawling down into

(05:40):
those depths and representativeof that death and rebirth cycle.
And what I really like to touchon when we're talking about
Scorpio as well as the nineyear, and you're gonna hear a
lot of similarities andparallels here, but with Scorpio
season focusing on that deathand rebirth cycle, we have to

(06:01):
let go and create space to callin the new.

(06:31):
Why not stay with the known?
But as soon as we release andlet go of our grip in that fist,
as soon as we open up, that'swhen we're creating space for
that new beginning, for that newthing.

(06:52):
Because if you're feeling, andI'm gonna go out on a limb and
say that you are feeling thissense of ending or completion or
clearing, and this doesn't haveto be a huge thing.
I think we jump to these bigmomentous life phases.

(07:16):
Maybe it's like, oh, I have toquit my job, or I have to leave
my relationship, or I have tomove, or I have to clear, you
know, do like a an entire housecleaning and just purge and get
rid of everything so I can getrid of everything, and then the
new will come.
And sometimes, more often thannot, sometimes it is a big

(07:39):
thing.
Maybe it is you feeling like youare ready to leave a
relationship that's just nolonger working, or leave a job
that is no longer bringing youenergy and bringing you life.
But more often than not, it'sgoing to be a small thing.
It might even be somethingintangible.
So this might be shifting yourmindset, releasing old thought

(08:05):
patterns, coming, bringing toyour attention these habits that
you have been carrying throughyour life for maybe the past
nine years.
Or I think we're also in somecompletion of a seven-year cycle
in astrology.
So maybe it's that completion ofsomething that's been building

(08:28):
and is now ready to be releasedin the past seven years.
Whatever it is, it's going to bemore felt than probably.
It's going to be more felt inyour body on a somatic level
than intellectual in your mind.

(08:50):
So the nine year in numerologyrepresents this year like the
Scorpion, like Scorpio season, ayear of endings.
It's it's a time to integrate,it's a time to clear, it's a
time to release.
And the one year in numerology, what we're what we're preparing

(09:12):
for, the one year represents anew beginning, initiation,
creativity, fresh identity.
So if you've been feeling in thepast year or few months,
depending on how in tune and howhow your life is is unfolding,
if you've been feeling thisunraveling, this loss, a sense

(09:37):
of this transition, but maybe aconfusion around what is this
transition bringing, or what isthis transition in general,
please know that you're notfailing.
This is a this is a time ofcompletion.
So it's not something that youare doing wrong.
This is not wasted time, thisnine-year.

(10:01):
We're just getting ready tocomplete a cycle.
Just like when we talk aboutcycle work in regards to our
menstrual cycle, not one phaseis better than the other.
We just are completing a cycleevery month.
We as women complete a cycle.
We go through the menstrualphase, the follicular phase, the

(10:24):
ovulation phase, the lutealphase, and then that cycle's
complete and we start all overwith our menstrual phase again.
So the nine year truly is aboutthis is really like a composting
year.
So old leaves fall, right?
We just went through fall.
This is also a really good timeto talk about it because we

(10:46):
physically went through the fallseason.
So old leaves fall to createnext season soil, right?
So the nine year is all aboutcompletion, emotional clearing,
karma release, shedding oldidentities, integrating lessons
from the past eight years ornine years, this that last

(11:09):
cycle.
And where we might be feelingthis confusion or this unrest or
this discomfort is in ourbodies.
So that's your invitation here, right now, while you're

(11:30):
listening, whether you'redriving, doing the dishes,
walking, taking a walk, maybeyou're just sitting on the couch
listening to this podcast, tapping into your body, maybe
doing a little body scan.
If you've worked with me before, you've done any breath work with
me before, you know what I'mtalking about.
If you haven't, a body scan isjust starting at the top of your

(11:52):
head and moving slowly down andnoticing what you notice, almost
like honey is oozing down yourbody, that slowly travel down
your body and notice what younotice.
Maybe you feel a tight jaw.
Maybe you feel this tension inyour shoulders.

(12:16):
And maybe even as you're doingthis body scan, you might feel
in your next breath thatshoulder release a little bit,
dropping just a half acentimeter lower away from your
ears.
Notice what is showing up inyour stomach, in your legs,

(12:40):
noticing if you can feel yourfeet.
I highly encourage you the monthof December, as often as you can
think of it when you wake up inthe morning, do a little body
scan.
And you might find how ourbodies are naturally trying to
release.
Our bodies naturally try torelease in the tight jaw.

(13:03):
Your jaw is bringing thattightness to your attention
through tightening it to createa little bit of release.
When we do those really deepsighs, right?
That's our body trying torelease.
So notice where you're holding.

(13:25):
Where is your body trying to letgo?
This is a really good practiceto help integrate this nine
year.
You might even notice if ifwe've worked together or you
know your human design, especially if you are a sacral
or spleenic authority, you mightnotice where your body is saying

(13:48):
no.
Where is your body saying notanymore?
What am I ready to finally letgo of?
What have I outgrown?
Where have I been spending myenergy that's no longer
returning nourishment, no longerreturning my physical generator

(14:10):
or manifesting generatorbattery?
Where is it no longerrecharging?
That's what we get to look at inthe nine year.
And in December, what we reallyget to hyperfocus on is that
final cleansing breath.

(14:31):
This is the last month of thenine year.
So instead of pushing towardsgoals, if you've followed me for
a while, you know that I willdie on the hill, that January is
not the time to celebrate NewYear's resolutions.
Uh, astrologically, it's noteven the end of the astrological

(14:53):
calendar.
The astrological New Yearactually starts with Aries
season, which is like beginningof April.
Well, late March, beginning ofApril.
Um, so December, like startingnew things in the middle of
winter season, in the middle ofwinter energy is so
counterintuitive intuitive.

(15:15):
But December, especially in thisclosing chapter, how much can I
rest?
How much emotional softness canI cultivate within my own body,
towards myself, within my home, whether you're living with kids
or a partner or just pets, howmuch emotional softness and

(15:39):
spaciousness can I create in mylife?
And some a somatic practice thatwe can explore here is placing
both of your hands on your lowerribs.
So the lower ribs we can tend tofeel expand and contract a

(16:01):
little bit more easily becausethey're that's where our
diaphragm sits anatomically.
So our diaphragm sits rightright on the inside of the lower
part of our ribs.
And when we breathe, ourdiaphragm expands down and out
with every inhalation.
And when the diaphragm expandsoutwards, it's going to push the

(16:21):
ribs outwards, which is why ourbellies expand out like a
balloon.
And then when we breathe uh whenwe exhale, our diaphragm pulls
back and up.
So it pulls in and up.
So placing your hands on yourlower ribs, breathing, feeling
your ribs, feeling thatdiaphragm expand and contract,

(16:42):
and feeling what if what itfeels like to breathe into the
back of your body.
Oftentimes we're so hyperfixatedon the expansion of the belly,
but what would it feel like tobreathe into the back of the
belly?
The back of the body, the lowerback, the the tailbone, even.

(17:06):
Even if you practice that rightnow, taking a couple breaths.
Maybe even feeling thespaciousness that's created in
your breath.
And this is really the heart ofsomatic work.
We feel it in our body first.

(17:26):
We show our body somatically ona felt sense because our bodies
don't talk in English.
We can't, we can't tell ourbody, feel more spacious.
Our body needs to feel whatspaciousness feels like.
It needs to experience it.
So that's really the heart ofsomatic work is creating this
felt sense of whatever we'reafter, whether that's

(17:50):
spaciousness or another word.
So that's a somatic idea.
Other ideas that we can focus onin December would be uh maybe
taking a little social mediabreak, maybe clearing out our
phone.
How can I how can I declutter?

(18:13):
Let's start with our phone.
Let's start with like digitaldecluttering.
So deleting old apps that you nolonger use, maybe going through
your camera feed and deletingold pictures that don't serve
you anymore.
How can I create morespaciousness in my phone, in my

(18:35):
tablet, in my laptop?
And then how can I create alittle bit more spaciousness in
my home again, in the space, inyour sacred space?
Maybe it's clearing out theclosets, the drawers, the the
junk drawer.
Maybe it's maybe it's creatingmore spaciousness and emotional

(18:58):
softness by road right bywriting closure letters to
somebody that you would like toset free.
Not for them, but for you.
Maybe it's writing that letterof forgiveness that you never
received that you wish that youcould receive, and not to send
it to them.

(19:20):
I think in the last podcast withRhonda, we talked about this.
This is a really, reallypowerful practice to write those
letters and not send them.
It's not for them, it's for you.
So this month is truly aboutclearing.

(19:42):
It's not about striving.
How can I clear what needs to bereleased without this active?
It's the invitation is withoutlike an active release.
Like I don't have to force, Idon't have to force myself to
let go, but how much space can Icreate for myself to let go?

(20:06):
And how does how does thisrelease feel?
How can this release feel mostsafe to me?
Most supportive?
That's a good journalingquestion.
So let's transition now into oneyear, one year energy.

(20:28):
So the one year is all about newbeginnings.
It's about your identity,vision, self-expression,
courage, initiation.
It's truly planting seeds forthe next nine-year cycle.
So this is this would um equateto like our new moon phase or

(20:48):
our menstrual bleed in in cyclelingo.
Um, if you've listened to mypodcast, again, you know what
I'm talking about.
If this is something interestingto you, definitely go back and
listen to the podcast aboutcycle syncing or cycle alignment
because you're gonna find a lotof cool tie-ins if you listen

(21:09):
specifically to the new moonenergy.
But the one year is all aboutplanting seeds instead of
resolutions.
How can I, how can I focus onmore alignment?
So, not what should I create oror how can I create it and the
to-do list, but what am I meantto generate from my authentic

(21:33):
essence?
How can I step more into myself?
Because as we align more easilywith our energy, and I would
argue, and this is my humandesign coming out, but I have a
one-line in human design, in myhuman design profile, and the
one line is the investigator andlike the the learner.

(21:57):
So um I would argue that the theway, one of the ways that we can
align more with our energy is bylearning more about our unique
energy.
And that's gonna come from in mytoolbox kit, that's gonna come
from learning your human design.
It's gonna come from exploringmore somatic practices, whether

(22:19):
that's breath work or othersomatic reflection, to clear out
all of the noise and really getinto your body, your inner
voice, your inner wisdom, whichthat comes out with both human
design and breath work and cyclealignment, of course.

(22:40):
So notice so some somaticexercises that we can explore
here, which you might want totake note of for January, or you
can come back and listen to thispodcast again in January.
But notice where the body feelsexpansion.
When you're imagining a newdirection, when you have cleared

(23:03):
out, the body feels, and I'veexperienced this, but we feel
this rise in energy.
And if you're a sacral authorityor a spleenic authority, you
might feel it in your sacralcenter or your or your spleen or
your gut or your instinct.
Um, but also emotionalauthorities are also going to
feel this rise of emotion, thisenergy when of excitement,

(23:29):
maybe, or I don't know what wordmaybe will resonate with you,
but of energy, of excitement, ofthis expansion, of this
lightness.
It should never feel heavy, orit's okay if it feels scary.
That's okay.
Because new is always scary.
It's always gonna be scary.

(23:49):
We can be excited and scared atthe same time.
We can be anticipating somethinggood and feel a little anxious
at the same time.
So notice where the body feelsexpansion.
Notice where where you feel thiscreativity maybe in your spleen,

(24:12):
uh in your um sacral or yoursolar plexus chakras, maybe you
feel this creativity bubblingup.
So ways that we can ways that wecan prepare ourselves for this
one year, these are simplemindset shifts, right?
Shifting from releasing toinitiating.

(24:35):
We're gonna shift from endingsto emerge emergence, we're gonna
shift from healing to creation.
I don't know about you, but thisnine year has rocked me.
It's been a lot of slowlyshedding.
We can also get into um the theyear of the snake moving into

(25:01):
the year of the horse, right?
Chinese, uh, Chinese astrology.
Um shedding, how it how a snakesheds its skin.
There's been a lot of skinshedding lately.
But now we're moving into thiscreation, this rebirth.

(25:23):
If you were rebirthing youridentity, who would you choose
to become?
What does the happiest, most atpeace version of you look like?
What version of you is asking totake the wheel?

(25:45):
So in in human design terms, mywe've kind of talked about
manifesting generators andgenerators a lot, but um, but my
manifestors, I want you to focusthis one year or focus your
intentions in this one year oninitiating cleanly and boldly my
generators and mg.
My MG is following your gut, continuing to develop that

(26:09):
sacral, full-body yes and no,feeling into that projectors
guide and get recognized foryour wisdom.
How can you create morealignment in guiding and getting
recognized for your wisdom?
Not by striving, but by waitingfor the invitation.

(26:30):
And my reflectors, how can youlet the environment shape your
new?
Whatever new is for you, andagain, this doesn't have to be a
huge thing.
Often it's going to be this veryslow, subtle process.
How can I work with my design, with my unique energy rather

(26:50):
than against it in 2026?
How can I stop forcing and howcan I allow more release?
So to review some steps forDecember to prepare us for gen

(27:10):
uh to prepare us for January isreally allowing, allowing that
closure, allowing that releaseto create space literally and
energetically.
So maybe that is clearing outyour inbox, maybe that is
clearing out your closet, maybethat is creating space

(27:32):
relationally, preparing yourheart for this new journey.
So maybe it is writing thatletter of disappointment, of
forgiveness, of whatever it is,letting go.
Choose one intention.
We've talked about this a lot onthe podcast.
I talk about it every January, and I'll probably make another

(27:53):
podcast about it.
But how can we set one goal, oneintention to carry into January?
This is not the time to set allof our New Year's resolutions.
And I would also invite mywording, it is very intentional
here of intention, not goal.
How can I choose one intention?
What is the energy that I wantto step into January with?

(28:16):
And that energy is going to beunearthed.
It's going to come to you.
It's not you choosing it, it'sit choosing you.
That's going to be unearthed bycreating more space and creating
more opportunity to release, toclear out.
And that's when we're brushingaway the dirty old dust.

(28:39):
That's when we're going to seethe beautiful, polished gem
beneath.
Maybe playing around withaffirmations that you're going
to step into January with.

(30:20):
So moving from this nine-yearDecember into the one-year
January.
And I pulled the Panther.
And as soon as I pulled it,y'all, this is wild.
I dream a lot.
I dream quite often.
And I haven't focused a ton ontrying to remember my dreams

(30:43):
because I feel like it's alittle overwhelming right now,
but I don't typically remember alot of the pieces of my dreams.
But of course, when we have atrigger, and then we'll then
we'll remember.
So I pulled this card and I hada dream of a panther last night,
which gave me the chills.
It's giving me the chills again.

(31:03):
But I want to read this animalspirit energy to you, and
hopefully it will resonate.
So this is the PantherAnnihilation of the Unnecessary
and Purging.
I just read that and thatalready gave me chills.
The Panther won't stand to seeour growth or energy stagnant.

(31:26):
Instead, it pounces into ourlives and causes all kinds of
havoc with the ultimateintention of bringing us towards
more fulfilling lives.
It's unexpected, uncomfortable, and sometimes feels devastating.
But after the dust clears, it'seasy to see the Panther's wisdom
at work.

(31:46):
We've all been through theseexperiences and they've made us
better people.
Trust that the Panther's journeyalways leads to a brighter
place.
When this energy is in balance,we might feel brave and
productive.
When this energy is out ofbalance, it might feel self
destructive.
And to bring into balance, getthis get rid of the unnecessary.

(32:09):
So what a poignant card.
I love Oracle decks.
They are always so, so on top.
On point.
Um, but that feels very, thatfeels like the message that
wants to come through right now.
And I mentioned this, I touchedover this in the beginning.

(32:29):
If you've been feelingunraveled, trust that things are
not falling apart, they'refalling into place.
And that doesn't mean that it'snot going to be uncomfortable.
The most dark, difficult, heavytimes of my life, I've had to

(32:54):
remind myself of this.
And if you're going through thisunraveling, please know that
there's a light at the end ofthe tunnel, that this is growing
you, this is developing you.
This is the universe, thepanther energy, however you want
to call it, your higher self,God, whatever you want to call
it.

(33:15):
This is a preparation, aninitiation, an annihilation of
all things that need to fallapart.
You are worthy of beginningagain.
You are allowed to choose a lifethat feels aligned, embodied,
and truly yours.

(33:37):
I'm sending you so much love.
I'm so excited for this nextyear.
If you'd like some support inhuman design, exploring your
authentic energy.
If you'd like a breath worksession to excavate that energy
that's no longer serving you, please reach out.

(33:58):
I would love to set something upwith you.
I will see you soon, my friend.
Be well.
