Journey to Wherever

Journey to Wherever

Journey to Wherever is a weekly podcast by two mates who also just happen to be brother-in laws, getting together each week to record discussions that shouldn't be left unsaid. Daniel Ribeiro and Ivan Siladji discuss many topics from lifestyle, philosophy, parenting, life's general hypotheticals and business & entrepreneurship. Each episode is sure to take you on a journey filled with laughs, debates and (maybe) tears. We believe that deep conversations facilitate ones quest to better understand ourselves and others on this journey to being greater humans.

The question this ultimately leads us to ask is - is what would you bring back?  Enjoy and have a laugh. Fingers crossed we’ll be back in the studio soon! Enjoy the show! About ...

We believe it's because you are paying for the years of gained knowledge and expertise to be able to produce the output within that time. In this week's episod...

Let's be honest, we've all been there at some point, having to bite our tongue and pay our dues, giving credit where it's due. Sometimes we don't like the fact that we have to give such credit - it can hurt our egos, or worse off, you really just don't like the person who deserves the praise. In this week's show we explore what it means to take the win like a champ, especially when you deserve it. But, like...

In today’s show we breakdown the madness that is Logan Paul vs the “retired” / GOAT of boxing, Floyd “money” Mayweather. The boys did a show on this topic about 6 months ago but it was more about the legitimacy of boxing. Now that the fight is actually going ahead, in this episode we breakdown the lunacy of it all and we discuss who we think wins and what the potential outcomes and ripple effects this may have, moving forward.  We...

What role, if any, do superstitions have in affecting our daily lives? Although Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) may have played a part in the formation of rituals and practices people still follow to this day, we explore whether there is any scientific basis to them, or have folktales simply stuck around and become believable? In this week we explore the origins of superstitions, discuss the many superstitions that a lot of us...

In this week's episode we explore many of the things you should never say to someone, and we go ahead and say them aloud for you! Admit it, there has been at least one time where you've wanted to speak out aloud what you've said in your head about someone, but because of the setting you're in, you can't. Picture this - you're in a work meeting and someone says something stupid, or you're on a sports tea...

Let’s be honest, the events/sports in the Olympic Games have changed a bit. The criteria is a little left field and if you took a deep dive into the list of sports, you’ll scratch your head wondering why?? Olympic Games were very gladiatorial like, athletic and immensely prowess. They still are, but.... it’s changed a bit. In this show, instead of completely criticising the sports, we decided to make an inclusive effort of the ty...

In today’s show the boys explore the world of Uber delivery people. Is it as bad as what everyone makes it out to be? Why such bad stigma? If there are opportunities at hand to make a living or even some extra coin then why do we shit on it? There are other jobs too right? In today’s show the boys discuss the impacts of a non-genuine sympathetic response to any occasion. Why empathy in general is a good baseline approach to most situations. Shouldn’t sympathy come from within? Like more genuine? But even if it’s genuine, does displaying too much sympathy exacerbate the situation? We understand sympathy has its place and it shouldn’t be suppressed in very obvious situations, but, what are the impacts...

By answering these abstract, random, and often deep questions, we discovered many would be worth a deep dive for a future full length episode. Fo...
