Ep 005 Woship- Going Deep in God

God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." These verses emphasize the importance of worshiping God authentically, from the heart, and in alignment with His Spirit. Psalms 51:17: "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise." Here, we learn that true worship involves humility and repentance, presenting ourselves before God with genuine contrition. Romans 12:1-2: "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." This passage calls us to live sacrificially, offering our entire lives as an act of worship and seeking transformation through God's will. Matthew 16:24: "Then Jesus told his disciples, 'If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.'" Jesus' words here challenge us to embrace self-denial and follow Him wholeheartedly, recognizing that true worship involves surrendering our own desires to follow His path.
