One piece of life advice country singer and songwriter John Ashburn leaves with us in this episode is that, "You've gotta show up." He did exactly that when we sat down with him in Nashville, Tennessee last week. The "Back When" writers talks about the ideal nostalgia tour, funny Instagram Reels, and the catchy lyrics from his latest hit "Redneck Riches". Another note on this wholesome human: literal moments after the interview, as he tuned his guitar to play some acoustic songs, our audio disappeared before our eyes! After minutes of sweating to figure out what happened, we had to accept that there was no way to recover the audio. John never paused, and kept reassuring us in his sweet, Georgia drawl that "technology will do what technology does." What a gracious man! So, as you tune into today's episode, it may be a bit lower quality, but rest assured that the man and his message are of the highest quality 👌🏽
