We're going a little extrathis week covering the most over
the top cheese news. We've gota world record cheese tasting. £3,000
of curds, Velveeta and CardiB. Mac and cheese pizza, $10,000

This week we're starting inColombia where cheese lovers set
a new Guinness world recordfor the largest cheese tasting ever.
According to UPI, 1185 peopleparticipated in the world's largest

cheese tasting event.
Holy cow.
They gathered to sample anarray of Colombian cheeses. Everything
from fresh soft varieties toaged and sharp. This event was to
help celebrate the 80thanniversary of a Colombian dairy.
Really?
It was organized to promotethe dairy and tourism. And they didn't
just hand out slices. Everyparticipant was guided through the
flavors like a fine wine tasting.

The world record rulesrequired all participants to sample
three varieties of cheese.They were Gruyere, Sopo and Argovia.
WSAW reports that theWisconsin Valley Fair's famous cheese
curd stand is preparing toserve up to 3,000 pounds of deep
fried curds this year.
Holy cow.
They have a super secretingredient. They add stale beer to

the batter. The beer sits outfor a day and a half. They added
to the batter and it not onlyadds extra flavor, but it helps the
batter stick to the curds.
Yum.
In order to prepare for thisyear's fair, they stocked up on boxes
of batter mix and 40 gallonjugs of ranch. They say once the
fair starts, they can havecurd orders out in 30 seconds.

Last year their booth raisedover $30,000 for nearby children's
organizations. The everpopular Velveeta is teaming with
Cardi B for what the drumcalls the full cheese experience.
Think music, bold visuals andcheese forward dishes. All part of
a brand activation.Celebrating living a life full of

Yeah.
The centerpiece of this eventis an immersive cheese space.
Really.
Walls, decor and even lightingin Velveeta's signature yellow Cardi
B says it's about celebratingindulgence. According to masslive.com
Kraft Heinz just dropped anationwide limited edition Mac and
cheese pizza.
They did.
It's a frozen pie topped withtheir signature Mac and cheese.

Yummy.
And according to article tocelebrate the nationwide launch,
fans in New York City, Chicagoand Detroit can order the new flavor
via special delivery. Justlike pizza, it'll arrive straight
to their doorstep in a customKraft Mac and cheese box, often in
as little as 15 minutes with adelivery fee of just $1.

This started back on August1st and it's available while supplies
last. Kraft Heinz is not asponsor, but if it was, the ad would
go right here. The RomeSentinel reported that a massive
wheel of cheddar sold for over$10,000 at the Lewis County Fair.
They said the winning bidderoften donates slices to local organizations.

They say this makes it a mixof charity and tradition.
Nice.
And finally, farms.com covereda massive 1400 pound cheddar sculpture
unveiled at the Indiana StateFair. The creator is Sarah Kaufman,
known as the cheese Lady. Thesculpture is made of yellow and white
cheddar. It was donated byPace Dairy in Crawfordsville and
it's on displ display untilSunday the 17th. We've talked about

her before, but she begansculpting back in 1981.
Right.
And by 1996, she turned thispart time craft into a full time
career. She has created morethan 4,000 sculptures for events
nationwide.
Holy cow.
Those creations range from asmall cheese pet to a 12,500 pound
Texas Dragon. She even has twoworld records for the world's largest

cheese carvings.
She does.
Once the display is over,they're going to take the sculpture
to Biotown a egg and turn itinto energy. Well, this next one
takes cheesiness to a wholenew level. In Kinston, North Carolina,
the minor league baseballteam, the Down East Bird Dogs just
made a world record attemptfor the most expensive cheesesteak
ever sold. According to Witn,their creation is called the Great

Dane. And it clocks in at awhopping $200.25. 200? That's right.
$200.
Wow.
For a sandwich.
Right.
This cheesesteak featureswagyu beef, white truffle oil, fat
sauteed vegetables. Okay. It'stopped with truffle carpaccio. Made
from black summer truffles.It's on a semolina loaf. It's garnished

with 24 karat edible goldflakes. And that's not all. This
cheesesteak comes with 24karat gold french fries.
Oh, my.
One of the cooks said thatbeing part of cooking that sandwich
felt honorable. She'd nevermade anything like it before. And
she described it as a wholelot of money sandwich.
Yeah.
The bird dogs plan to submitit to Guinness World Records for

official certification.
I'm ready for a joke fund.
Okay. Why did the cheesesculpture get promoted?
I don't know.
Because it was a cut above the rest.
